My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Hershey Park. The staff were so super nice and friendly! It is very close to the park as well (you can see a rollercoaster from the Motel). The room was very clean and cozy. We enjoyed a late night swim in the pool which was also very nice. We plan on coming back the next time we go to Hershey Park

The ladies at the front desk when we checked in were so nice and helpful. This motel offers rooms and small apartments. We stayed in an apartment which fit 5 of us comfortably. It also had a full sized kitchen and fridge which I wasn't expecting. It was clean and had fresh towels in the bathroom. Perfect for an overnight to see a concert in Hershey. I would recommend staying here if going to the park since it's within walking distance!

My family and I loved this motel. From the friendly staff to the spacious and clean room, to all the amenities. My daughter enjoyed the pool very much. Also, it is within a very short driving distance of Hershey Park. Restaurants are within walking distance as well. Simmons Motel is a great place to stay.

Very nice property but due to it being an older property some of the rooms have very inconvenient access. The stairs to our room were very steep. The air conditioner unit was extremely noisy and kept us up most if the night. The room could have been cleaner. The pool water was very cold so my grandchildren could not go in the water. Probably wouldn’t stay there again.

Staff at check-in was fantastic - very nice, sociable, & helpful. We booked a 4 bed room, so we were actually in an apartment across the parking lot from the main motel building. The building was older & some things were dated, but the room was clean & there was a nice covered patio with furniture. There was a nice aboveground pool with a deck. Hershey Park and some train tracks are fairly close behind the motel so it is noisy, but we didn't hear it inside the room.

Staff friendly, anxious to help. Room was clean but odd; Constant clicking sound (radiator?). Walls not square, interior door led to stairs with a mattress shoved in there. Great price. Looked like trays for breakfast in lobby but always empty. No free wifi, no cable. Amazingly central location.

The small pool was clean and only us there at the pool. Room was average. To use the microwave we needed to temporarily unplug the refrigerator and then plug the microwave in because there wasn’t a receptacle for it. The area was nice and quiet enough for us. TV provider was Vizeo so if your preferred channel wasn’t on it then you’d be out of luck and in conclusion they charge for Wi-Fi about $2.50 a day.

We stayed in a quirky suite. It was so much more comfortable and homey than a standard motel room. The seating was comfy as were the beds. We hadn't known there was a pool, so that was a nice surprise.

Check in and stay was smooth. Apt with 3 bedrooms was very vintage as the kids called it. No kitchen sitting area or living room, just 3 bedrooms and a bathroom with small hallway for fridge and microwave. It worked for us for the short stay.

Older, well kept accommodation. Loved our stay! Clean, great staff and great price! Short, safe walk (even at night) to large selection of restaurants. Would love to come back and stay. Highly recommend!!!

I was very disappointed in this stay. From hair in the end and in the bathroom , too the nasty smell of the carpets , no closet or a place to put luggage , Luke warm water … and I could go on. Not worth it at all.

The room looked like it was last refurbished in the 1970's. Not very clean, although the sheets were ok. Bathroom had broken tiles on the floor, and shower was very small and grimy. Would recommend you dont stay at this hotel.

In walking distance to several restaurants. The bed was had almost like sleeping on the floor. Went to take a shower and the tub backed up like a bath was just ran. The main door to get into the room did not lock had to get a master key to be able to open and close whenever I left which didn’t make me feel any safer seeing as the door was the kind you can kick through to get to whoever’s on the other side it was already broken in several spots.

There was no A/C because it was cut off for the season. A little warm. The room was tiny. The bathroom door could not open all the way because of a dresser in the way. The shower stall door could not open all the way because the sink was in the way. I asked for accessible room. Those two things makes it hard for disabled people or plus size to get in or out of the shower/bathroom.

While showing it's age a bit, the property is very clean and very well maintained. Staff is great and the price is right. Beds in our room were pretty uncomfortable and could use and upgrade though and the walls were thin enough that the next door room's conversation woke us up. Would stay again but would try one of the Victorian homes that are also less expensive than the Days Inn across the street.

This is an old hotel that is being kept in good shape. The room was small, but adequate for an overnight stay. I didn't like the mattress. The bathroom window needed replaced or repaired because it could not be locked. The windows didn't fit as well as they should in the frame. Cost was very reasonable. Getting to the room and from the room to the front desk is like a maze, but it's not a big place so it is tolerable.

The motel was very convenient to a lot of restaurants. The building looked older but the accommodations were decent. The only complaints i have is there was not enough outlets to plug in our devices. The outlets they did have worked off of the main power switch and all the lights had to stay on in order to use them. Second, the beds were hard as a rock. It was hard to sleep because the bed were so hard and the pillows were super thin. Finally, the air conditioner didn't work well until we put our fan by it and helped the air circulation. All in all it was a nice stay and I'd definitely visit again.

Perfect stay for the Hershey Swap Meet. Walls of the room are paper thin, so be prepared to become familiar with your neighbours night-time habits and TV preferences. Very friendly staff. Great for the price.

You pay for what you get. This is an older property and I loved that you got an actual key for your room. The staff was excellent but there was some issues. First and foremost, the A/C unit has not been cleaned for a long time and there was black residue visible when looking in the vent. On two seperate occasions, not in peak time, the hot water in the shower was not quite up to snuff. Also, there was no hair dryer in the room. Once again I look to the price I paid, and it is certainly a bargain given the proximity to Hershey park and restaurants. I would stay there again, but would check the AC unit before I stayed in a particular room.

Great location near food, chain pharmacy and the park. I loved how clean the rooms were, but there was no one at check in (my key was left for me as it was a late arrival). A bottle of water in the room and available parking would have been nice.

Cute cottage style hotel, in a great location. Hershey is just a charming town & this Simmons Motel is a perfect representation of that feel. The owner was fantastic and so kind. She even let us check in early, as we were exhausted from a red eye flight from Oregon & long drive from Pittsburgh. Highly recommend!

The receptionist was on the phone had to wait about Fifteen minutes to be attended to. To my surprise,I was told of a $100.00 deposit still waiting for my deposit. I called spoke to two very rude men would not let me explain about my deposit gave a number called the number got no help. There is no phones in the rooms the TV is small looks like a 19 inches, We were told to take the sheets of the beds was told to put it in a place where it could be seen, all garbage had to be place in a bin in the kitchen. I took pictures so I would not have a problem with my refund. I would not I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. For me it a Zero Star.

We were so lucky finding this place! Skip the expensive chains this place had it all! Cute vintage decor spotless and perfect! Park right outside your door. Walked to different dining option every day! Could see and listen to screams of rollercoaster off in the distance so cool!

Don't be fooled by the idea of a motel. This one outpaces many HOTELS for its size and accommodation level. Absolutely worth the money and the BEST option for short stay travel. While it may not have the capacity for 'breakfast bells and whistles' for free - like many do, it outpaces the competitors for value and convenience .

If you are just staying and do not need a pool, breakfast, or fitness center, this is a very good choice. Fyi bring your own shampoo if you'll be there after office hours (which we had with us).
