I have stayed there twice for work reason and have had no problems there. Yes there is a pub that does live band every night below.. just take ear buds... Slept through the night.the toilet and the bathroom are like ones you have at home, so lots nicer then the swimming pool style, all clean daily. Has kitchen if you want to save money. Close to 2x train station. Bedding clean. I would stay there again.

I had a pretty good time! The free breakfast was great, with toast, eggs, cereal and ham. Perfect for grabbing something quick before heading out to explore. I also really liked that they have cooking facilities. Being able to make your own food is super helpful when you’re trying not to blow your budget. It’s close to New Cross Gate station so getting around was easy. Staff were chill and helpful, and the vibe overall was very relaxed.

The hostel is very close to Goldsmith University and there many convenient stores, cafes and restaurants in the surrounding area. The hostel is well organized, spotless clean, without mosquitoes or bedbugs. Very good free breakfast at the dining room and it’s possible to cook or store your own food at smaller kitchens that are on 2nd. & 4th floor. The staff are very kind and go out of their way to help you.

Overall very good for a budget hostel. Staff was pleasant and helpful, there is a free breakfast, a £7 laundry, fast WiFi, hot shower, and the checkout at is at 11 am (later than most hostels.) There was loud music till around 11 pm, triple bunks which I prefer double, and limited room in the common areas. The pros far outweighed the cons here. It's not fancy or luxurious but gets the job done. For under £20 on a Saturday it was an incredible value. I may find myself returning again when I need a cheap stay in London.

Gave it 5 stars mostly for the price—it’s super affordable and great if you’re on a budget. The area and some of the people around weren’t the best, and cleanliness could’ve been better. But the staff were honestly amazing—really friendly and helpful, which made a big difference. If you're just after a cheap place to crash with some good vibes from the team, it’s worth it.

This is easily the best hostel i've been to! It's actually better than mutliple hotels i've been to! The floors, the beds, everything is clean and it smells good. As a female traveler, it also helped alit to have a bar and parties in the hostel! It was easier for me to socialize without having to be out late at night! I literally have nothing bad to say! Kudos to the owners and maintenance crew!

I'd paid for a female room, they put me in with a bunch of men. They did move me when I asked but then I had to move out the next night to another room. The bathroom door didn't close properly let alone lock. It was above a bar that played loud music well into the night and people were starting loud brawls into the early hours. Sirens constantly and they were doing some demo in the hostel at 9pm while I was trying to sleep. They said they provided towels on the website but didnt and the showers had a LOT of mould and some had very little pressure. The breakfast choices weren't bad though I will give them that - there were eggs, bread, pastries, fruit, cereal etc. for you to make yourself what you wanted. All in all a place to lay your head if you're really trying to go cheap but there are a lot better options out there.

I chose this hostel because of the availability and the price. You definitely get what you pay for. The place was disgusting and smelled awful. The beds had mold on them and there were bugs throughout the property. There was one outlet in the room for four people. There was one shower and it was clean for the most part. I would not stay here again. On top of all of that, it’s located above a bar/nightclub that plays loud angry music and it’s very difficult to focus on anything or get to sleep. Disappointing.

I've stayed in several hostels previously and this is by far the worse. One of which was a converted jail cell and it was considerably better than the facilities provided. We stayed here (private room for 6) based on the location to the London Marathon start. The room provided was directly over the pub on the floor below which had live rock music playing until ~ 11 o'clock followed by music playing until at least 01:00 (loud enough to have actually been in the pub). The music was shaking the the beds throughout the night. The bunk beds were really unstable which meant any small movement resulted in large movements for the people trying to sleep on the other levels. The beds were uncomfortable and the bedding, towel and toilet facilities provided were unclean. Due to the street noise we needed to keep the window open which left the room too hot to be comfortable. As a bonus the green bulb in the light left the room lit up throughout the night. We complained but no other rooms were available. If we could have afforded alternative accomaditon on the the marathon weekend we would have left in the first hour. The breakfast offering was relatively below average heavily relayed on having hygienic fellow hostel guests. Seems like this accomaditon has had some fake reviews as our experience was very different to the positive reviews...

It was a perfect place to stay to easily walk to mile 9 for the marathon. It was a Saturday night and the bar below had live music playing until late which made it a bit noisy. But can’t complain too much. It did the job

The photos posted on internet have nothing to do with the reality. First of all, they made us wait for 45 minutes for the check in. In addition the conditions of the bedroom, the bathroom and the common areas were dreadful. I do not recommend this hostel at all

I'd paid for a female room, they put me in with a bunch of men. They did move me when I asked but then I had to move out the next night to another room. The bathroom door didn't close properly let alone lock. It was above a bar that played loud music well into the night and people were starting loud brawls into the early hours. Sirens constantly and they were doing some demo in the hostel at 9pm while I was trying to sleep. They said they provided towels on the website but didnt and the showers had a LOT of mould and some had very little pressure. The breakfast choices weren't bad though I will give them that - there were eggs, bread, pastries, fruit, cereal etc. for you to make yourself what you wanted. All in all a place to lay your head if you're really trying to go cheap but there are a lot better options out there.

I also really liked that they have cooking facilities. Being able to make your own food is super helpful when you’re trying not to blow your budget. It’s close to New Cross Gate station so getting around was easy. Staff were chill and helpful, and the vibe overall was very relaxed.

It was a perfect place to stay to easily walk to mile 9 for the marathon. It was a Saturday night and the bar below had live music playing until late which made it a bit noisy. But can’t complain too much. It did the job

Overall very good for a budget hostel. Staff was pleasant and helpful, there is a free breakfast, a £7 laundry, fast WiFi, hot shower, and the checkout at is at 11 am (later than most hostels.) There was loud music till around 11 pm, triple bunks which I prefer double, and limited room in the common areas. The pros far outweighed the cons here. It's not fancy or luxurious but gets the job done. For under £20 on a Saturday it was an incredible value. I may find myself returning again when I need a cheap stay in London.
