Facilities are basic with frequent maintenance issues: the pool is often closed or dirty, the courtyard fountain looks worn, and there is no elevator. Vehicle access and on‑site parking are not available due to the pedestrian or hard‑to‑reach location.

Cleanliness is inconsistent, with multiple reports of dirty or musty rooms and bathrooms, mold and humidity, stained or worn linens, and occasional insects; a few guests did find spaces acceptable. Common areas can also look tired.

Rooms are simple and vary in comfort: hot water and water pressure are unreliable, Wi‑Fi often drops, and some units are small, noisy, or missing basics like blankets or a fridge. Beds can be hard or on concrete bases.

Service is mixed: many guests praise friendly, helpful staff and quick check‑in, while others encountered rude or unresponsive front desk experiences, unresolved reservation changes, and reluctance to move rooms.

Central downtown location near the ADO bus station and Parque de las Palapas makes getting around and finding food easy. However, the nightlife nearby brings very loud music late into the night, and some find the entrance hard for taxis to reach.

There is no consistent on‑site dining; breakfast, when advertised, is served at a nearby restaurant with limited morning hours and mismatched offerings. Many affordable eateries and street food options are within a short walk.
