The view is fantastic from all floors. Located on a dead end st offers a quiet, low traffic stay. Private access to beach. Downtown is a walkable distance for most. Staff is friendly and some of the lodgers seemed familiar with them. Having regulars speaks to their hospitality. The only real draws backs are the small parking lot with tight turns and the lack of elevator for the less mobile folks. I will absolutely stay here again. Maybe next time I’ll bring my dog.

Excellent views and stairs to the beach were not as long as the other hotels in the area. Nice fire pits outside to enjoy as well. Very clean and seems like it was just remodeled. Love the no carpet floors! Everything was perfect! 10/10! They also had some treats in the morning that was unexpected and so yummy! We will come here again on our next trip to Lincoln City.

When checking in, you can see construction materials in one of the hallways. The lobby looks like it had a facelift in the front, but it's a mess behind the counter. The room was ok, although there was no closet or any place to put your things down in the room or bathroom. It looked like a newly renovated room, but there weren't even towel racks in the bathroom, so you really had nowhere to put your things. I was traveling for work, and there wasn't even enough space to set my laptop up in the room. The jacuzzi tub was so dirty that we could see a white line where we dragged our finger through the grime, so we skipped that. But the real treat came very early in the morning when a woman with an arrest warrant tried getting into our room and the other rooms on the ground floor. We packed up our stuff while the police arrived to arrest the woman. We found another hotel down the street that was the same price and much nicer, so we left, but not before we were charged a $100 early check-out fee. I should mention that our room was approximately 15-20 feet from the office, and this lady was still allowed to roam around the property and parking lot long enough to break into someone's car in broad daylight at about 8:00 in the morning. Save yourself the hassle and spend a little more, or even the same, at a reputable hotel that doesn't look like it just updated one room to get a listing on Expedia.

Nice views. No extra blankets in room and when I went to front desk to get one, the woman wanted to argue with me and said condescending that there were heaters in the room. I was aware of that but wanted a blanket as the linens were very lightweight. No screens on the patio doors, so flies and nats were very active. There was also no decalf coffee and the creamers were very scarce. Nice bidet toilet seat. This facility is not ADA friendly. No elevators.Floors inside unit could get a really good deep mopping as you walk around room in socks, they got filthy black real quick! Overall a pretty good place to stay. Bring slippers.

Check-in was quick + streamlined. Our room’s cleanliness was immaculate + very modernized, especially for being an older building. We absolutely loved waking up to the ocean view, and really appreciated the easily accessible beach! Will definitely be staying here again in the future. It was the perfect relaxing one-night stop.

Room was very clean, we had a jetted tub and that was clean. Bed was comfortable. Outstanding view of ocean. Parking is very tight. Vinyl flooring in the room but a broom and dustpan were provided in room. Breakfast options are minimal.

View was excellent from the third floor. The balcony is tiny, standing room only. Too small for a chair. Bed and pillows were comfortable. The sheets were clean but not soft. No elevator. Would recommend as long as you don’t hope to sit on a chair on the balcony to enjoy the view.

Never been to an inn that has a bidet talk about comfort. This place is a hidden gem and will happily come back. The ocean view is beautiful and the furniture in the room is beautiful and comfortable. I love that there is coat hooks and a couple of benches near the entrance to remove your shoes. So convenient and bed is extra cozy. Also love that you can watch your Netflix account on the tv.

Impossible to get a good night's sleep here. Walls were paper thin with people talking loudly half the night, car alarms going off and doors slamming. Probably would have been ok without all that, but hard to be objective. Appreciated the bidet and beach view.

Rooms appear to have been recently remodeled and were quite nice. Bed was really comfortable. There was a nice bidet lid installed on the toilet but we couldn’t get it to work. Other than that it was a great experience to stay at Sailor Jacks!

Clean rooms. Great view to the ocean side. Only downside is the tiny balcony. Standing room only. Couldn’t set up any chairs to enjoy the sunset or waves. Quiet area to enjoy the evening. Comfy beds.

This was a nice surprise. It is a newly renovated property that is clean and in a quiet corner with beach access. The room was clean and comfortable and we could not hear our neighbors. Cute patio facing the ocean. Most rooms had balconies but ours did not. We did not have any housekeeping service during our stay so had to go to the front office to ask for towels, coffee etc. Our room needed maintenance so we were delayed to check in by about 45 minutes- not a huge deal but the hotel could have called us to let us know.

We decided last minute to go to Lincoln City overnight because we got a great deal on a room and the reviews looked decent so we decided to give it a chance. The good: the hotel is clean and seems to be well cared for. The bed was comfortable and our room was clean. They have some nice outside sitting areas and the view from the room was great! The bad: we got a bit worried when things got dark because we started smelling pot and the room near us had a lot of people in it being noisy. It got worse from there. I started calling the after hours number at 11:30pm and no body answered. It just rang and rang and would continue to send me to the after hours extension. I tried multiple times again at 12:30 and finally a person answered (who had been sleeping obviously.) To her credit she did come and tell the people they were too noisy. They quieted for a few minutes. I heard them off and on until finally at 3:30 am I called the front office and told them the people were now cursing and screaming at each other. They did get kicked out of the hotel at this point which is good. We shared with the front office once we were up about our disappointment with our experience and lack of sleep. There was no apology but just excuses that “she can’t control other people”.

My check-in was excellent. The woman who helped me was super friendly and actually let me know of a room cancellation so that I could get a room with the jacuzzi tub! She also recommended a great restaurant. The room was more than I hoped for, especially for the price. Extremely clean, and everything was updated. The balcony literally led you right to the beach. I will definitely be booking here again on my next coastal trip.

Front desk lady when we checked in was bordering on rude. Housekeeping lady’s were nice.Room was clean And the view was great. I just wished we would have known we would be put on the 3rd floor with NO elevator. We are both elderly and had our two little furbabys with us . Needless to say we are pooped. When we come back to the coast we will not be staying here .

This was a spectacular property. We'll definitely be back. It was one of the most reasonably priced, yet had all of the top notch amenities. First, the location is amazing. It's ocean front with all beach views and access to an amazing beach. There's a wonderful beach front patio with chairs and fire pits and a beautiful roof top patio, which is not ocean front. The rooms were recently remodeled and were very nice and clean. We loved it.

Sailor Jack’s was a nice clean place to stay with easy access to the beach. Our room overlooked the ocean and was peaceful and quiet. Would like to return in the summer. There are some fire pit areas that look like they would be great in the evening watching the sunset over the ocean. Staff were friendly and helpful and in the morning there were some pastries, oatmeal, and fruit and coffee.

For the price it was excellent. It's an old motel from the '50's but they've done an incredible renovation on it. The rooms, office, and back patio are all excellent. Now, be real, you're not going to get the Taj President at $150/night! This was an old structure so it doesn't have things like an elevator. What it does have is a lot of class, a lot of charm, and it's very reasonably priced for what it offers. I stayed in a number of "9.0"-rated hotels in this area from hotels.com and they were all crappy old run-down motels with a fresh coat of paint. I don't know how on earth they got a 9.0 rating -- I mean, they were fine for an overnight stay but they were just old motels with paint jobs. Sailor Jack's is also an old motel but the refurbishment goes far beyond paint, the rooms are nicely upgraded and the overall experience is outstanding. The rooms all have direct ocean views, and the upper floors have fully opening glass windows that let all that oceany goodness right in your room. The stairs take you right out onto the beach. I spent two nights in Lincoln City in. a beachfront condo, which cost me $600. Sailor Jack's is way nicer, better beach access, and that wonderful back patio, and it's well under half the price. I might spend some nights in various renovated motels on my way to Lincoln City, but Sailor Jack's is the place I plan on spending my vacation while in Lincoln City

Very, very nice little spot. You can tell that the owner has pride of ownership, though the building is old It has been completely updated. Very thoughtful seating areas in front of the windows to enjoy the view, and even outdoor fire pit/lounging area to enjoy the beautiful beach views. The unit has a good size refrigerator and microwave, Keurig coffee maker with Costco coffee pods available in room. Also snacks available until noon by the front desk.

Great place to stay! Comfy bed, water pressure in the shower was amazing! Beautiful view, easy access to the beach (flight of stairs) they had muffins & oatmeal for a easy breakfast & had movies you could rent. Overall a 10/10 stay and will definitely stay here again in the future
