Service is excellent! I spent 3 nights and had a relaxing, peaceful time. It rained a lot and I ordered room service for dinner two nights and the food was really delicious and healthy. Omar deserves a special shoutout for being a fantastic and hilarious waiter. He recommended meals that were superb. My last night I ate at the restaurant and wasn’t feeling well, and he recommended the grilled fish and quinoa risotto, since they were light. Great choice. The spa services are a must! I had the best facial and massage, 70 minutes each, by I think, Abigail? I booked one for each day. Just amazing! My room was large and had everything I could want. The beach when it stopped raining, was fantastic! My last day the sun came out and while it was not hot, nice breeze, I still got sunburnt. This was my first solo trip and thanks to Ana y Jose, it was perfect due to staff and amenities. I will definitely stay there again when I visit.

I loved my stay at this place! Very friendly staff, and a beautiful hotel! I think the pool area could’ve been a bit bigger, but the beach made up for it! The food was definitely exceeding my expectations! Very great quality food.

We stayed in an ocean view room, Agua de Mar. it was large, lovely, with a gorgeous view and private plunge pool. The staff was wonderful! The property was very lovely. We did NOT like the incredibly loud Electronic Dance Music played beginning in the late morning and continuing all day long. The bass actually hurt our ears! Also, the fit was center was very tiny, no treadmill, broken bicycle… Thsnk goodness I run on the beach, which is absolutely gorgeous, great breakfasts, dinner was good if you have a small number of people. We had a dinner for 10 one night, I had reserved in advance. The restaurant never got the message. Service was very slow, food was mediocre. The soft shell crab tacos were amazing!

We had a wonderful stay at Ana y Jose. The place is beautiful and offers a perfect balance of a boutique hotel and family friendly vibe. The service was impeccable: friendly and accommodating, always going an extra mile. The little kids playground on the beach was a highlight. We also enjoyed the spa very much. We are definitely coming back.

Ana y Jose hotel is a good hotel. Right on the beautiful beach. Our servers for breakfast Maria & Mario were great, they were very kind and met our every needs. Our server for Dinner Rafael also was terrific, made recommendations on whats a popular dish and went above and beyond to make our experience phenomenal. What I didnt like from the hotel was our room being righf next to the kitchen, we heard almost everyones conversation and all the pots & pans crashing into eachother. The hotel food fell below my expectations. I was hoping for more options like menudo or tradional tacos, something more mexican. However, the massages my wife & I got from the spa were amazing. Those two young ladies im forgetting thier names but they made us feel like royalty.

This was our first visit to Tulum. This small charming hotel was great. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and it is right on the beach, The food at the restaurant was good, but the service a bit slow. The gym could use upgrading, but on the whole we were very satisfied and would go back again.

I can go to Miami for those prices and get better quality It had been 2 years since our last visit to Tulum. I will look for other places in the future. Prices have risen to Miami levels but you still have to endure some of the negatives like lack of street sidewalks, chaotic and extremely congested traffic, poor street lighting, risk of food poisoning, and a hint of insecurity. The property was well maintained and offered a boutique feel, which we loved! However we were not expecting families to select this property because there are no kid amenities here? The beach service was lacking too, they only came around maybe every 3 or so hours. Housekeeping was inconsistent as well. The food was absolutely amazing here!!

Udemærket hotel som er lidt slidt. Vi købte en opgradering til pool værelse med Ocean View. Hotellet er dyrt i forhold til standen på værelset. God morgenmad og fin strand. Dog meget blæsende og meget tang. Det kan være årstiden. Fin service som er god efter Mexicanske forhold.

Everything was perfect. Everybody was helpful. I will go back if I ever go back to Tulum. Celebrated my husbands birthday. Had ordered a cake. They made it so nice with music and singing. I was very touched, more than I expected. Clean and everybody is very attentive. The airport shuttle was working very well too.

The room was damp and cold, and smelled bad. We barely had warm water in the shower. The cleaning was good and room in okay shape. But it smelled bad and damp all day and all the pillows etc smelled damp. Really not nice. The food was also really bad and so expensive, do not recommend eating there. General Tulum is awful, wish we hadn’t traveled here but stayed in Mexico City. The make you pay for everything. We bought a bottled water at the restaurant and took the bootle to refill it, but housekeeping saw it and noted it as being taken from the minibar and charged us 255mex pesos. It is insane! The toilet smelled really bad and they clearly have issues with their sewage system! All power also went out one night. It was a waist of time and money staying there. So glad we finally left! And don’t drink the “filtered” water in the room. Both me and my husband got sick.

Beautiful small hotel, good food, amazing beach and comfortable beds. Great food. We were in one of their new suites which was beautiful but noisey at night which didn’t bother us. The view from the balcony was not the best but the beach made up for any negative things. Would stay here again

Ana y Jose hotel is a good hotel. Right on the beautiful beach. Our servers for breakfast Maria & Mario were great, they were very kind and met our every needs. Our server for Dinner Rafael also was terrific, made recommendations on whats a popular dish and went above and beyond to make our experience phenomenal. What I didnt like from the hotel was our room being righf next to the kitchen, we heard almost everyones conversation and all the pots & pans crashing into eachother. The hotel food fell below my expectations. I was hoping for more options like menudo or tradional tacos, something more mexican. However, the massages my wife & I got from the spa were amazing. Those two young ladies im forgetting thier names but they made us feel like royalty.

La chambre était bien mais la tv était toute petite et mal positionnée dans la chambre pour la regarder dans le lit. Le matela était vieux et inconfortable, trop dure. Pas de miroir dans la partie salle de bain, pas de porte pour les wc.

The front desk wasn’t the best at check out but overall great service Our room was comfortable, clean with a stunning ocean view The only negative was the quality and value of the food and drinks. We had breakfast, lunch and ordered food at the beach. The quality was middle of the road but at Miami prices. We ended paying $125 for lunch for the two of us and a drink at the beach is $17-18 for unremarkable, water down cocktails. I can go to Miami for those prices and get better quality It had been 2 years since our last visit to Tulum. I will look for other places in the future. Prices have risen to Miami levels but you still have to endure some of the negatives like lack of street sidewalks, chaotic and extremely congested traffic, poor street lighting, risk of food poisoning, and a hint of insecurity. (We saw a group of fully geared Marine squad including their M16, patrolling the beach. I thought I was in an episode of Seals) Overall we had a good but not excellent experience that would make me want to go back

We LOVED our stay at Ana y Jose! Four friends got out of Dodge, and headed to Tulum for an all-inclusive, relaxing ladies weekend - we couldn’t have picked a better spot to land. They were attentive in advance, asking for our flight and shuttle information (and offering to help), and were incredibly sweet, kind, funny, and professional during our stay. Melissa is the head concierge and she was a ray of sunshine popping up everywhere! There wasn’t a thing we asked for (recommendations, taxis, getting ourselves locked out of our safe, etc) that she didn’t help with immediately. William and Maria (Mary) were our breakfast servers everyday and we had so much fun with them. Loved getting to know them a little bit and being able to relax into the stay so authentically. Mario was our dinner server every evening and similarly, we just loved getting to know him, learning new words from him (we had a fluent Spanish speaker with us, so communication was fairly easy), and seeing a friendly face every evening. They remembered a food allergy amongst us and went above and to bring her amazing dishes, brought us drinks (coffee, tea, margs) to at they knew we liked, and didn’t scrimp on presentation. Perfecto! The property is beautiful and does a wonderful job using the space to create a home-like but also bougie experience. The beach is beautiful, of course! We never fought for a lounge chair or even a spot in one of the shade lounges. We can’t recommend this place enough!

The property was well maintained and offered a boutique feel, which we loved! However we were not expecting families to select this property because there are no kid amenities here? We stayed in an ocean view room, Agua de Mar. it was large, lovely, with a gorgeous view and private plunge pool. The staff was wonderful! The property was very lovely. We did NOT like the incredibly loud Electronic Dance Music played beginning in the late morning and continuing all day long. The bass actually hurt our ears! Also, the fit was center was very tiny, no treadmill, broken bicycle… Thsnk goodness I run on the beach, which is absolutely gorgeous, great breakfasts, dinner was good if you have a small number of people. We had a dinner for 10 one night, I had reserved in advance. The restaurant never got the message. Service was very slow, food was mediocre. The soft shell crab tacos were amazing!

We had a wonderful stay at Ana y Jose. The place is beautiful and offers a perfect balance of a boutique hotel and family friendly vibe. The service was impeccable: friendly and accommodating, always going an extra mile. The little kids playground on the beach was a highlight. We also enjoyed the spa very much. Definitely a location I would visit again. It was such a great experience. ALL of the staff was always very helpful and attentive to our needs. We had a group of 8 and there were absolutely no complaints. The food was excellent, beautiful beach and great amenities. Thanks for making my brother's birthday trip an amazing one

This was our first visit to Tulum. This small charming hotel was great. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and it is right on the beach, The food at the restaurant was good, but the service a bit slow. The gym could use upgrading, but on the whole we were very satisfied and would go back again.

Everything was perfect. Everybody was helpful. I will go back if I ever go back to Tulum. Celebrated my husbands birthday. Had ordered a cake. They made it so nice with music and singing. I was very touched, more than I expected. Clean and everybody is very attentive. The airport shuttle was working very well too.

The complementary breakfast does not include any warm food, it’s only a basket of bread and coffee and a few pieces of fruits. The level of noise is super super loud due to construction next door and also the music from the bar across the street.

El hotel es muy lindo, cada rinconcito lleno de detalles, es tranquilo en medio del festivo Tulum, Habitaciones amplias y cómodas, la playa con todo lo necesario para disfrutar con comodidad y pasear por ella viendo los demás clubs de playa. Es un hotel familiar, lo que es una bendición en Tulum, volvería definitivamente. Lo único que me pareció raro, fue incluía el desayuno pero sin huevos, debían pagarse adicional, cualquier proteína se pagaba adicional. Solo incluye jugo, café y panes. Igual deliciosos los panes. Al principio nos pareció raro, pero era tan rico que no nos hizo falta la proteína, solo lo comento para que se tenga en cuenta quienes van a reservar

Service is excellent! I spent 3 nights and had a relaxing, peaceful time. It rained a lot and I ordered room service for dinner two nights and the food was really delicious and healthy. Omar deserves a special shoutout for being a fantastic and hilarious waiter. He recommended meals that were superb. My last night I ate at the restaurant and wasn’t feeling well, and he recommended the grilled fish and quinoa risotto, since they were light. Great choice. The spa services are a must! I had the best facial and massage, 70 minutes each, by I think, Abigail? I booked one for each day. Just amazing! My room was large and had everything I could want. The beach when it stopped raining, was fantastic! My last day the sun came out and while it was not hot, nice breeze, I still got sunburnt. This was my first solo trip and thanks to Ana y Jose, it was perfect due to staff and amenities. I will definitely stay there again when I visit.

We did NOT like the incredibly loud Electronic Dance Music played beginning in the late morning and continuing all day long. The bass actually hurt our ears! Also, the fit was center was very tiny, no treadmill, broken bicycle… Thsnk goodness I run on the beach, which is absolutely gorgeous, great breakfasts, dinner was good if you have a small number of people. We had a dinner for 10 one night, I had reserved in advance. The restaurant never got the message. Service was very slow, food was mediocre. The soft shell crab tacos were amazing!
We stayed in an ocean view room, Agua de Mar. it was large, lovely, with a gorgeous view and private plunge pool. The staff was wonderful! The property was very lovely. Ana y Jose hotel is a good hotel. Right on the beautiful beach. Our servers for breakfast Maria & Mario were great, they were very kind and met our every needs. Our server for Dinner Rafael also was terrific, made recommendations on whats a popular dish and went above and beyond to make our experience phenomenal. What I didnt like from the hotel was our room being righf next to the kitchen, we heard almost everyones conversation and all the pots & pans crashing into eachother. The hotel food fell below my expectations. I was hoping for more options like menudo or tradional tacos, something more mexican. However, the massages my wife & I got from the spa were amazing. Those two young ladies im forgetting thier names but they made us feel like royalty.

This was our first visit to Tulum. This small charming hotel was great. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and it is right on the beach, The food at the restaurant was good, but the service a bit slow. The gym could use upgrading, but on the whole we were very satisfied and would go back again.

The Places in a Good Location, but it’s really really dated the rooms are old the food is mediocre The air conditioning was leaking and they had no screens on the sliding patio doors if your looking for something overpriced for what it is this would be a good place to stay it’s worth $ 100 usd a night because it’s on the beach the staff is nice But they charge double or triple that if you don’t like old and warn out damp rooms I would not recommend 2 stars only

Absolutely beautiful stay. Ana y José is a stunning resort with incredible design and décor — our room was perfect and felt both luxurious and relaxed. The staff were outstanding, warm, and attentive throughout our stay. Facilities were excellent, the food was fantastic, and the beachfront location is truly beautiful. The only minor drawbacks were that hot water was a bit hit-and-miss, and at night you could hear music from a nearby resort down the beach. That said, these were small issues in an otherwise amazing experience. We would absolutely love to return.
