I had a very mixed experience here. I booked a beachfront room at Nômade Temple months in advance specifically because I wanted direct beach access. In the weeks before my stay, I received around nine emails promoting yoga, activities, upgrades, and other extras. Not one mentioned that my room was no longer available or that I would be moved to a sister property. I only learned this when I arrived. To their credit, the replacement room was very nice and had a private pool, and the staff throughout the stay were friendly and helpful. But it was still not the beachfront room or experience I had booked and paid for months earlier. The beach was also essentially unusable because of extremely heavy sargassum. Obviously the hotel cannot control that, but given how central the beach is to the experience they sell, I think guests should be warned when conditions are this severe. The property is beautiful and the staff were good. My main frustration is the communication. If you can send guests nine emails selling additional services, you can send one telling them the room they booked is no longer available.

The hotel wasn’t open they put us in one of their sister no pool in the room they had us on the 3rd floor, no elevator it was a waste of time and good money. If you’re to Tulum don’t stay at Nomade Temple Tulum or there sister Be Tulum

I booked the Nomad Temple Tulum hotel but we didn't stay in the Nomad Temple Tulum hotel because upon arrival we were told that hotel was closed because of noise from neighboring construction. While I appreciate that this is an issue they could have told us this beforehand and not surprise us with it on the day of arrival. So we stayed at the partner Be Tulum hotel which is nice but not what I booked. Instead of a Beach View room we did not have a beach view. So instead of settling into the place you have been looking forward to, based on pictures and reviews, you now have a different hotel that the person at reception keeps telling you "is also nice", and you have to weigh your options and level of aggravation that you want to deal with. In the end we had a nice time and Be Tulum is a nice hotel, but springing this on people as they arrive is not the way to do this.

We had an amazing experience at Nomade. The staff were all so friendly and attentive. The food served at their restaurants are all delicious, the drinks are well made. The parh to your room is surrounded by nature, and all very private. The daily yoga is so peaceful, and our favorite experience was definitely the Temazcal ritual! We highly recommend this hotel!
