Very nice calm and relaxing vibe. The room with the pool was real nice. Its also can be HEATED too! Spa service was elite put me to sleep worth the price for 60min. No issues in the room overall I would def return again

This place is paradise! We stayed for a week in the Beachfront Plunge Pool room and we couldn't be happier with our choice. La Zebra is truly a luxury boutique hotel with the ideal location, impeccable hospitality and delicious food. The room was beautifully decorated and the housekeeping staff kept it sparkling clean through our stay. The turndown service was a warm touch and we really appreciated the little surprise treats every evening. The room came with a reserved beach bed which was amazing. The beach bar staff were so friendly and prompt with keeping our mezcalita glasses full! We loved the restaurant as well. Special thanks to Felipe, Roger and German who were all so polite, knowledgeable and gave great recommendations. Another great perk is we could walk to the neighboring Lula hotel and get resident rates on their wellness classes (AMAZING studio!) and fantastic spa treatments. We also appreciate La Zebra promoting local artists by displaying their vibrant pieces on the property. We will definitely be visiting again! No complaints!

This boutique hotel is centric and super chic. The rooms with jacuzzi in the backyard are beautiful and they all have access to the beach. The food and drinks at the restaurant are good (a little overpriced though). Parking was right across the street. Definitely recommended!

The staff was outstanding. Went above and beyond. Check out was at noon which is a nice change. We loved the patio and little pool THAT CAN BE HEATED! That’s a big thing, most small hotel pools are almost too cold to use. Our room was very large, the shower and bathroom as well. The restaurant is one of our favorites. We eat there everytime we go to Tulum. The beach beds are shaded by mini palapas, all had tables and pillows. Comfortable! They are roped off so you aren’t inundated by beach sellers. I didn’t think I was going to care for the rope “fence” but found I didn’t mind it. They have free dedicated guarded parking. Very interesting art. Little wood playground for kids. Slept like a baby. This hotel is right on the beach and every room seems to have easy access.

Very well run resort. The staff are amazing. The rooms are nicely sized. The resort is centrally located in town. The restaurant is very good. They keep everything very neat and orderly and clean, including the rooms. Although the hotel lacks a gym and a really nice big pool the beach is incredible and the lower price makes it all very worthwhile.

Wonderful staff, food was delicious and service was excellent. Clean, convenient. Close to other shops and bars and restaurants. Yoga class was amazing and spa was perfect. I recommend booking this place if you are considering Tulum

We absolutely loved our stay at La Zebra. We were a family of 4 (child ages 16 and 11). We stayed in the ground floor beachfront suite which was LITERALLY right on the beach. It was beautiful, very high quality, excellent service, and really peaceful. It was quiet at night. The location was fantastic - walking distance from all the best restaurants but far enough away from the beach clubs to avoid the noise. There was a small pool upstairs by the bar. We wished there was a public use hot tub since we didn't have one in our suite. The staff were very helpful and helped with transportation and excursions. We felt very safe the entire time.

the place being on the beach was beautifu, but for a high end hotel it is short on amenities.

This property is located in the sweet spot on the main strip in Tulum where it is quiet enough on the beach side that you don't hear too much loud noises yet it is walkable to all the main attractions, restaurants, and shopping. The staff was very accommodating and it is simply just a haven tucked in Tulum. We did the complimentary Mezcal tasting by the beachfront. Our room was amazing...a stone throw to the beach which also came with a private cabana that we can use any time during our stay. Overall this hotel is great for relaxing and enjoying the ocean view. 5 STARS!

He was attentive and kind, and a great rep for this property. We also interacted a bit with Esteban at the front who was great as well. Jose and his crew made quick work of our (very heavy) suitcases, and got us situated in the parking lot. And lastly, Roger took care of us at the beach! The property is very charming, perfectly located on the quieter side of Tulum Beach, and a wonderful intimate setting to kick off our month-long trip.

Property well maintained, rooms well cleaned daily, good service, beach area great, food is good. Definitely great value for your money

We had a sea view room with a large balcony. The room was clean, spacious and right on the beach with a wonderful view. Housekeeping was efficient and all staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was very good for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Beachside service from the bar/restaurant was wonderful.

Pasamos un día solamente y una noche pero nos gustó mucho la atención del Personal del hotel. Las instalaciones son muy limpias y cómodas. La habitación y el baño muy bien y la playa excelente y limpia. Sería bueno que la llave de la habitacion no sea física, es incómodo, además de que no se cierra con seguro si no le das vuelta a la llave, se me quedó abierta la habitación una vez, disminuye la percepción de seguridad

Excellent location-quiet late at night/early morning so we slept well. Walking distance to tons of shops, restaurants, bars & beach clubs. Loved being right on the beach! Property was clean and very well maintained. Staff was friendly and attentive. Beds were super comfortable and great air conditioning. Good and drinks were all fresh and delicious. The hotel had so much character. Highly recommend!

We can highly recommend this boutique hotel, which is located at a beautiful beach. The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially Marco, Jaime, Mario, Jonathan, If you have any questions, you can reach out to the staff easily on Whatsapp. The rooms are very big and well equiped. The common area and the rooms are ALWAYS very clean.

It was a great stay with 2 kids, very kid friendly and amazing staff and service. That said, a few things could improve - 1) The restaurant is a little overpriced for the quality of the food but then again it’s Tulum so everything is overpriced 2) When booking, nothing was mentioned about the room being part of Luna (Sister property). Would have been nice to know that it was not near the beach. 3) There was a consistent sewage smell near the room which might have been sometime to do with the manual drainage but was a little annoying. Would recommend it to anyone travelling to Tulum with kids.

We did not take anything from our bar but got accused (by Adriana) of having taken bottled water when checking out which we really did not appreciate. Also we got a room in the annex building which we did not understand we would get when booking the room. It was across the street away from the beach with no view at all. We had to pay to change room

My partner and I looked at SO many options before booking La Zebra. We wanted to experience Tulum in a relaxed way. After reading reviews (like this one, I hope!), we landed on La Zebra thanks to its humble, family-friendly, safe, and gorgeous location. A week or two before our stay, the concierge WhatsApped asking if we had any questions, needed transportation, or wanted help booking activities/restaurants. This was incredibly helpful and made us feel so welcome. Arriving at La Zebra is like a dream. The staff immediately welcomes you with complimentary drinks and gives you a quick tour of the grounds. Our room was SPOTLESS, big, and gorgeous for the two of us. The bed was very comfortable, the AC worked like a charm and the shower, well, I'll let you see for yourself. My partner was on the fence about getting the plunge pool LOL we used it every single day, multiple times a day. The staff maintained the water, foot bath, and area around the pool. This is your sign: get the plunge pool. Each room opens to the direction of the ocean, with a few overlooking the ocean. We didn't get a room with a view, but in fact, we liked it better because it offered us the privacy we wanted. All plunge pool rooms are on the ground floor-- it's like walking out into paradise. The staff is incredible, warm, hardworking, and so friendly-- the waiters, cabana crew, front desk, room service, and everyone in between. The food is SO FRESH, local, and made with love. Will return soon <3

My fiancé and I had the most amazing trip to Tulum staying at La Zebra! The staff was friendly and attentive, especially Matt! Whenever we needed something at the restaurant/beach he noticed and made sure we were taken care of! The hotel was gorgeous and the rooms were quite big. We loved hanging out at the beach cabanas and the food was delicious! The location was also amazing! We could walk everywhere and so many good restaurants were nearby. The concierge helped us find some pretty cool places! We can’t wait to go back!

Everything about our stay was terrible. It seemed like none of the staff at the hotel wanted to be there. The streets around the hotel were dirty and seemed very unsafe. We actually had to leave because of a family emergency and asked the hotel if they would help us out a little, as we had 2 more nights pre-paid ($400 each night), but they said they couldn't and kept saying that it was Expedia's fault, as only they could issue a refund. However, they said they would offer us a gift certificate for the next time, as if we would ever come back to this place. So, my advice STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!

The property was a beautiful property located strategically close enough to beach clubs with loud music and far enough to have a relaxing time if required. Still walking distance from all the nice clubs and restaurants. Do yourself a favor and make sure you take a room with all view of The ocean. Sunrise is just stunning in Tulum.

Quint boutique Hotel. Uber zen. Friendly staff. Large room. Very comfortable. Great Resturant. TULUM needs to fix the road to this hotel and many more. Narrow, pot holes, and unnecessary speed bumps. Time sitting in traffic can be brutal. Hence the welcome for tranquil Hotel La Zebra.

This hotel was the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in. Staff were amazing, the food was some of the best we’ve had in Mexico and the facilities/rooms were 10/10. We already can’t wait to come back!

This property was a 10/10 all around. Each villa has a beautiful view which is nice. The restaurant on-site was actually some of the best food we had in Tulum. The best Barbacoa without a doubt that we’ve had anywhere.
