The pool was divine on this hot summer day! I appreciated the fact that it is open until 10 PM, which allowed me to swim before and after dinner. The room is spotless, well appointed and boasts a tasteful decor. Bed and bedding are high-quality and ultra comfortable. I enjoyed the separate kitchen, bedroom and sitting area. Check in was smooth and pleasant. The grounds are well kept and felt safe. I will absolutely stay here again!

This is an old time motel. I really like to use these kind of motels when I can. The place was spotless parking was easy, I even went into the heater pool and it was beautifully clean and beautifully maintained. Property was nice and we could eat and shop. The pool was open late also. I would highly recommend the Cascade motel. There is a minor league ball park very close by. I would have liked to know about it.

Very clean, towels, linens and bathroom. The rooms have been updated. It’s not the Ritz, but it’s in really good shape for an older property. Pool is kid friendly. A very good value. You won’t be disappointed.

We stayed for a concert in town and it was close, quite and very nice. I was bummed the pool wasn't open but overall it's a great spot.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were all quite friendly as well. The price was fantastic for a town known to be expensive.

The process of getting checked in was easy. The location was great right on the road. Parking was easy right in front of the room. However the room itself was dark, dingy, and not very clean. It also smelled horrible. Like a musty, damp old basement. The room decor itself was what you might expect from an old school motel room. However the smell was strong. It was that mix of cleaning spray and mold. I literally felt sick breathing in that room. Also the bathroom was dirty with nail shavings and hairs throughout. I spent $250 for this room no less! If you’re in a bind, this room might work but be forewarned!

Blood on the bedding, dirty walls, room smelled like cigarrettes. Door lock not secure. Bed hard as a rock. This place was a total scam. When we told front desk they said no refunds. We had to find another hotel it was a nightmare. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Super nice staff, friendly, helpful. The room smelled terrific and was very clean. They let us have our room earlier in the day when we arrived early. Safe, spacious, and good for the value! Parking next to our room. We walked from Hayden Homes after a concert and it was a nice, safe walk.

The bathtub mat was moldy

Not cleaned well, dirt in corners, under bed. Smelled moldy in the bathroom and musty overall. An older motel someone tried to fix up but not a good job. Caulking cracks in bathroom, floor patched together, old heater air-conditioning, very loud. Price a little high considering

Friendly and efficient check in clerk, huge, clean room and bathroom, great location… we were more than satisfied!

For the price, my expectations were set accordingly. However, I have stayed for places costing 3x as much who I could compare. Some of the furniture is dated, some of the room has been updated. The room was spacious, comfortable, and quiet. Bigger than average refrigerator/freezer, room includes microwave and sink.

Upgraded us to a whirlpool suite that was really nice and had a living room and kitchenette!

I added another night 30 min before arrival and they were able to keep me in the same room both nights. Room had spacious and luxurious bathroom and besides sink, fridge and microwave, even had a toaster.

TV didn’t work. No answer for help after 10pm. Window blinds were broken

We had a suite with kitchenette and jacuzzi tub. It was great!!!! Clean and comfortable. Not fancy but super comfortable and conveniently located. 2 flat screens was nice too.

A bit wornout but kept up very nicely. Not enough lights in room, a lamp not working did not help. Pool was very nice. Overall i would stay here again. Great price.

The overall price and cleanliness was excellent. The coffee maker with real cups and more than two cups of coffee made my day. The only negative was the WiFi was sketchy at best but I really didn’t mind it at all. The staff were very friendly and kind.

Our third stay here in two years. They have added new carpet in the rooms since our last stay. Nice rooms, TV works great, its quiet, beds are comfortable. Works great for us. Will stay again.

Internet never worked despite telling the front desk

Property owner lives on property and clearly does not want to be a hotel owner. Advertises to be a 24/7 front desk but in actuality, if you happen to arrive late to check in there will be no one at the desk to greet you and instead you will be locked out, forced to call a phone number that they won’t answer, and no one will respond to the doorbell that they say to ring for assistance. There is no indication anywhere that this is their house, so beware! Because if you happen to knock on their window of what you assumed was still a regular hotel lobby break room, they will call the cops on you for trespassing! I was refused my stay after already having paid for it, forced out into the streets on an unfamiliar city, at 2:00 in the morning after having driven 13 hours to get to my destination. Never have I been treated so poorly at a hotel, or any other type of “hospitality” establishment. If you want to stay somewhere, stay anywhere else but here. WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. I think in hindsight it’s for the best that we didn’t stay there, and I recommend you don’t either.

This is a super great little spot downtown, very clean with great people, especially the owner's son; very customer-oriented. I had a client change appointment dates so I needed to switch a date. Very nice lady I talked on the phone on Mon stated I had to contact Expedia because it was booked through Hotels.com. Expedia Chat stated it is property pay and take it up with the property. On Wed upon check-in, I requested from the owner's son who was on the desk that afternoon to stay Wed night and since it was already property-paid, to credit the Thur night to a 4-day stay in Nov and book on the spot using that day as credit. The son totally understood but HAD to ask dad. I only ever use "property pay" for this flexibility, I've done this at least a dozen times historically. Thur afternoon, I asked again to reconsider and use the Thur night as a credit for a 4-night in Nov. Owner refused and cited Expedia is the reason. I informed him that is inaccurate, but I'm not one to question another's business practices in their own house but I really just don't understand why he would give up a four night stay in Nov so he could keep this one day today; but long-term loss for short term gain. I got my receipt as I had to leave that night back to Medford for a 6am appointment on Friday, gave him his key and left for Medford. It's a great little spot here, very clean, but if you 3rd party book even using "property pay", you're unconditionally locked into the dates, no exceptions.

The staff (front desk) was one of the worst. They treated customers (me at the time) like a criminal. At the time when I came in the office to request a reset for the wi-fi, the guy insisted, it worked in the office, and then it would work in the guest rooms. After some trading talks, he almost slapped me, opened the door, and wanted to kick me out. He said, the internet is free and is a favor, if it worked then used it. If it doesn't work then that is it> He menaced me to call the police. I offered to call them by myself. His wife was at least nicer, after knowing me of what I work ( I need wi-fi to teach an online class) and soothes him down. I was back in the room. After a moment, his wife brought me a new different code for the internet. It was so angry and scary that some small other things were occurring in the room, I didn't want to call them to ask.

The place is older but pretty clean. Rooms are big. Water pressure was awful. The lady at the front counter was EXTREMELY RUDE. First she told me I didn’t have a reservation, then when she finally found it she literally threw a key on the counter and went back to her living area without saying a word. Due to the attitude I got from her, we will definitely not be back.

Perhaps the best affordable hotel I’ve stayed at in a very long time. The check in was easy and the young woman was very friendly and accommodating. The room was extremely clean and equipped with all the basic amenities I needed including a refrigerator and better cable tv than more expensive hotels I’ve stayed in. The location is close to food, gas, grocery, downtown.. pretty much everything. It was a great location for my Homebase while I hiked all around the area. Bobby (I think he’s the manager) would ask whenever he saw me coming or going how the stay was going and if I needed anything. I was not able to take advantage of the pool since I was there in late October but that is a nice bonus for warmer months. Cascade Lodge is a no brainer now for me when I’m in Bend. It’s clean, friendly, affordable, has the right amenities and proximity to essentials and fun. Keep up the great work guys!

***CREDIT CARD FRAUD ALERT!*** DO NOT STAY HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE! Booked this room through Expedia for one night. Selected Cascade Lodge as I was just passing through Bend for one night and went with the cheapest rate I could find. I reserved the room and chose the option to "pay at property". At approximately 9am the morning of check-in (not allowed until 2pm), I noticed two charges on my credit card. One for "Cascade Lodge Motel" for $20 MORE than the reservation, and another for "GDP*Service Charge by Hotel" for $25. I figured it was an error that would easily be corrected. Boy was I wrong. Upon arrival at the property, I asked about the charges. They very rudely told me that "We do not have your credit card information" and that "we can\'t even see how much you paid Expedia for the room". I tried to explain that I selected the "Pay at Property" option, but they rudely dismissed me. The motel itself was fine; exactly what you\'d expect for a cheap motel. No complaints there. After the trip, I sent over 20 emails to Expedia trying to get the refund. I even called my bank multiple times to figure out where the mysterious "GDP*Service Charge by Hotel" charge was coming from. Finally, I got the $20 overcharge refunded by my bank, and Expedia finally informed me that the $25 extra charge was for a "pet fee". I don\'t have a pet. I finally got this refunded almost 2 months after my stay.

The check-in was easy. The manager at the front desk was very nice, and accommodating. The room was clean, comfortable, and very reasonably priced. Will most definitely stay there again.

I stay in a lot of hotels for my work. This place checks all of the boxes for what you look for on the road. Affordable, clean, easy check in, food on site, seasonal pool. The rooms themselves are neat and quaint with all of the items you need at convenience. I don’t write reviews but I’ve stayed here twice now and can’t recommend it enough for a stay in Bend where things can be more expensive for a lot less than this place has to offer.

I have stayed here several times over the last couple of years. It has the usual microwave and fridge, which are perfect for me when I'm ski bumming it. Location is convenient for everything in Bend, and the location does not have the down and out feeling that some motels' locations now have unfortunately become in Bend.

I love this place. Super close to downton, easy to get to places from here. Rooms are clean, parking is great! The pool looks nice.

Definitely sets a high standard among the smaller motels in this area - perfect for my overnight stay. Clean, comfortable, well-kept and nicely set up room and bathroom. Easy walking distance to the Old Mill District. Friendly staff. Nice outdoor pool, too! Will stay here again.

Quiet, convenient parking, nice, comfortable room, easy access to anything you need: stores, gas stations, groceries, etc. Freeway close and just minutes to old Downtown and the Old Mill district.

Lots of homeless people hanging around the property!

I found this place last year and ended up staying for a few nights. In my most recent trip, I booked a few more nights. Nice accommodations, easy check-in. Parking right outside room. Freeway close, short drive to old downtown and Old Mill area.

Good value for one night stay as we were travelling through. Clean room. Sheets were crisp and comfy as was the bed. Towels new, white and fluffy. Wifi great and we could park outside our door. We walked to a small Mexican restaurant a block away and there is a convenient grocery store for all your needs also less than a block away.

Located in a convenient spot. Room was clean, staff were great, pool was awesome.

I've stayed at a lot of these less expensive motels along the old highway in Bend. This one is my go to. They have done a really nice job of updating the rooms, and the parking lot is very well lit. The Indian food truck in the parking lot has very good food too!

Wish they provided breakfast for the price of one night stay. This was a very cut place to stay.

The room was better looking than the photo. The room was of good size and nicely decorated, the shower had beautiful tile. There was an outside pool but i didn't use it because it was too cold outside. There was a food truck serving Indian food out front. The food was delicious! I will definitely stay here again.

I stayed here based on the high-ratings on Expedia and was able to experience why the property was so highly rated. It\'s a cute family run business. It\'s in an excellent location next to everything in Bend and the surrounding area. The property is small and the staff was friendly. It\'s got a chilled and laid back vibe. If you love Indian food, the property also runs an onsite take-away restaurant called, "Anita\'s Kitchen Gourmet Indian Food." I had a URI w/difficulty tasting and smelling but the food was still delicious; I highly recommend eating there.
