This place was amazing! I have to admit, when I got there after dark, I wasn't so sure. Motel vibe, small and quiet. But in the light of day, wow! The staff is perfect. Helping without being in the way. The breakfast is simple, but fresh and tasty. They had me with the fresh avocado. The rooms are bright and clean, you can tell everything has been upgraded recently. 5 stars all day. Looking forward to my next trip to West Seattle.!!

We chose this property due to its location. Our daughter lives in west Seattle and I wanted something walkable to her condo since my husband would be using the rental car daily for business and golf. The motel is clean, bed is comfortable, shower was adequate (but tub was peeling badly) staff was very accommodating and breakfast was in line with a Hampton inn. The property is very dated and the interior of the units desperately need an update. Overall if I was Ali e I’d stay again - mostly due to the fact that there are no other motels in west Seattle. But it was expensive (based on unit and lack of amenities and space).

We spent two days here. West Seattle was a quiet neighborhood and had a ten minute walk to main avenue for shops and restaurants. Bus service right outside hotel to get to water taxis to get to downtown Seattle. It was free too!Room was clean and bedding great. My room could use an updating. We did use the upstairs terrace to relax the breakfast was very adequate, plentiful and the staff so helpful and courteous.

Tyler Bayer & the Front Desk staff - Amy & Donna - were so very helpful during check-in, check-out & my stay. I had a late morning appointment & asked for a late check-out which was readily approved. My appointment went later than expected but they were understanding and even assisted me with putting my bags in my car when once I was ready. I would definitely stay at The Grove again while visiting my sister in W. Seattle. And I would recommend it to others. Thank you Tyler, Donna & Amy! Marie Larsen
