This hotel was so good stayed here again 10 days after first stay.Not often travelling can you say you cant find anything wrong but this is pretty well perfection.The new owners have inherited a gem and continue the niceness.Beds are heavenly.Excellent wifi pool with kids slide.Frosted shower screen with large rain head and plenty of bench and luggage space.Good security and with the best fish and chip shop opp with a Chinese takeaway and fast food 2 mins to drive down the road makes this hotel a jewel and a no brainer to stay

We came down for a quick stay to go to the Rugby Union. We were there early, the room wasnt ready, but they let us use the pool & amenities until it was ready. Beds were very clean, rooms tidy. Super convenient to everything.

What was unique was the lack of parking with the rainy weather. 2 car parks were taken up by a box trailer and laundry trolleys !!. Only parking was in the street with terribly rainy weather. People were getting siaked getting from their car to their motel room !!.

loved our accom here, very friendly and helpful staff. Room was spacious and comfy, bed a little soft for our liking btu that is just personal preference. Pool could have done with a cover over it but otherwise totallly recommend staying at Billabong !!

The pool was the only best thing, I had to clean under the bed as daughter spilt food and cockroaches come out from under the bed, the room had a smell and found out after a shower the shower leaks into the room and looked like it had been for awhile , my daughter could not use the bed near the window as the glass louvres didn't close all the way so I did not trust them for safety and kept my daughter in bed with me also we had to change rooms as added an extra night to our stay the 1st room had plates and stuff but the next room had none at all, the motel needs a good clean up and some repairs done.

There was mould on the ceiling in the bathroom , got a blanket out to use and it was full of bits of grit, was not like a block of flats with the noise from what seems like longer term customers.

The bed was comfortable and everything clean. The aircon was very noisy and directed to the kitchen "corridor" so sleeping was very difficult. An old property, so much as would be expected. Stay again? No.
