Lovely central location, good eager service, pretty view from bedroom, filling breakfast but hotel itself is in need of renovation, updating and modernizing and better lighting. Room lights, walls, flooring, bed mattress, bathroom…all challenging for elderly tourists. Pool was warm and good for lap swimming. We will return because the staff was great! Very welcoming

Checked out after 1 night of a 6-night stay. Room was dirty and stank like mold. Hallway had a strange smell, too. Furniture in the room and the lobby was tired. Bar and restaurant were both closed for remodeling so you eat in the ballroom. I was served a drink with a dead bug in it and a staff member tried to blame it on flies in the ballroom (there were none - also, why would there be flies in the ballroom of a five-star hotel). Most of the staff was friendly and courteous. The view from the room was really nice. Definitely not a five-star hotel. Maybe 3.

Hotel is under renovations and I got an I renovated room. The decor wasn’t bad. The room smelled like humidity and towels were tired. The bed felt like it was sinking. Restaurant food was excellent and public spaces were nice. Area is not very nice and would never stay there again

Good location at the edge of Medina. The staff is friendly. Breakfast is average for the cost. Dinner is of good quality. Somewhat expensive, the restaurant is basically an extension of the lobby. Great views from the high-up floors. Very easy to get a taxi cab. Security personnel totally irrational. A friend of mine with an extended stay due to a later flight needed help with luggage packing, but his other friend who checked out a couple of hours earlier was not allowed to come up inside for a few more moments to assist with the packing of the souvenirs. The whole thing left a sour taste.

This hotel was not on par with other Sofitel hotels we’ve been to. There was a big stain on the couch in our room and the sheets smelled badly like they had been left wet too long. The room and carpets are dated and this doesn’t give the impression of a 4-star hotel. The pool was also not great, many of the lights in the pool area were out leading it to be quite dark.

i did not like any thing about this property, breakfast was like a three star hotel . SPA was always closed and you had to call to have the facility to turn on , broken faucet and no drain in the shower was bad in SPA.. i would rate this hotel max 3.5 star not 5 star and do not recommend at all .

The hotel is 60 years old. The carpets and fixtures in the room can better. It is not a 5 start as you see on hotels.com or expedia. The gym was closed for the whole 5 days we stayed and front desk did not know about it. There were 6 front desk people (morning and night) and they all gave different information. No refunds, cannot cancel and the manager is no where to be found.They did not allow us to cancel and no refund. On the last day when we were about to leave, they are offering a free breakfast. We were very dissapointed with the service. For the same price, Marriott had a better place and it is just 300 meters away.

Arrived approximately 2:50 pm Monday, February 16, 2026. Doormen pleasantly greeted us upon arrival, assisted with luggage and directed us to reception area. Numerous guests sitting, waiting, several employees seemingly feigning activity, not attending to anyone, nor acknowledging our presence. Awkwardly stood in middle of the small reception area waiting for direction. Eventually, I politely asked if we needed to wait to check in and received no other response than "Passport please". Check in was methodical, without pleasantries. Another guest was trying to interrupt our receptionist as she was concerned her passport had not been returned to her. Our receptionist spoke to her with less courtesy than I would have expected that she did not have her passport and it was another colleague who had taken it from her. Room condition was extremely disappointing. "Filthy" is not an exaggeration, stains on carpet, couch, bedding (hair on pillow), poor condition, dated, in need of a refurbishment or a deep, deep clean. If this hotel had a "heyday", it must have been long ago. Breakfast room service was timely and good value. Dinner was expensive and poor quality, although service was extremely attentive and personable (great personal conversation). Interactions with doormen were always pleasant and personable when exiting and entering the hotel. Check out was smooth and pleasant. Overall, stay was terribly disappointing due to condition of the hotel and lack of value for money.

Sofitel, price in comparison to the UK and UAE Room was very dirty, carpets, sofa were stained and very old. Room smelt damp and dirty. Room service was very prompt, but they literally gave you what you asked for. Change tea cups, they sent 1, asked for teaspoons, they sent 1, asked for slippers, sent 1. Bathrooms were so old. Ceiling near entrance door to the room crumbled every time you opened the doors. The hotel supposedly is going through a renovation! I didn’t see this. I was glad to return home

I found dirty hair not only on the floor but also left in the shower, clearly untouched by housekeeping. The beds were deeply uncomfortable and did little to offer rest after a long day of travel. Until then, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere.

I had a most terrible experience at Sofitel Casablanca Tour Blanche. The room they gave me smelled like mold. It did not have the soap, shampoo, thats normally in the shower. The shower wasnt also working well. The room was very dark with the changing area not at all lit. The coffee maker and the cups were dirty and I was given only 1 coffee pod. Then when I checked out of my room, I asked someone to help me with my bags. And asked Reception to get me a taxi to go to my next destination. They got me a taxi but did not put my bags in it. I only found out my bags werent in the taxi when i got to my destination! After, I called them to ask where my bags were! They said they will send a shuttle to meet me and give me my bags. Apparently, they hired another taxi to do the job! And then the driver asked me to pay him! Again! So I had to pay for taxi service twice!! Because of this, i was late to go to Marrakesh. The experience left me speechless!

everything went well till we find live cockroaches under our bed, also were running around over my kids.. when I called the receptionist, they had no sense of urgency. My kids were so very scared. we packed up super early and left the hotel. definitely not the best experience

The room was clean but not in great condition ie you could not properly close the toilet room, you could not easily lock the room door. It does not feel like a Sofitel, but a 3 star hotel. When you book a room at a "5-star Sofitel hotel" you expect certain standards. None of mine were met. The property is very run down. Every part of the rooms are dented, chipped, water damaged, have mould and rusted. This hotel is at bed a 3-star. Staff are friendly and try their best to make up for the property. Restaurant food is bad and again not up to par. I would never step back in there, unless they renovate the building top down!

The staff was super nice . The room spacious and very clean . A sunrise view that was breathtaking . We had dinner at the Japanese restaurant : fantastic ! The room design is a little strange and as big as the room is , the space is not well used .

Checked out after 1 night of a 6-night stay. Room was dirty and stank like mold. Hallway had a strange smell, too. Furniture in the room and the lobby was tired. Bar and restaurant were both closed for remodeling so you eat in the ballroom. I was served a drink with a dead bug in it and a staff member tried to blame it on flies in the ballroom (there were none - also, why would there be flies in the ballroom of a five-star hotel). Most of the staff was friendly and courteous. The view from the room was really nice. Definitely not a five-star hotel. Maybe 3.

The hotel is 60 years old. The carpets and fixtures in the room can better. It is not a 5 start as you see on hotels.com or expedia. The gym was closed for the whole 5 days we stayed and front desk did not know about it. There were 6 front desk people (morning and night) and they all gave different information. No refunds, cannot cancel and the manager is no where to be found.They did not allow us to cancel and no refund. On the last day when we were about to leave, they are offering a free breakfast. We were very dissapointed with the service. For the same price, Marriott had a better place and it is just 300 meters away.

The Sofitel staff were extremely welcoming. Casablanca Morocco, Sofitel Tour Blanche My wife and I just concluded a 8 days trip to Casablanca where we stayed at the Sofitel Tour Blanche. Our positive experience started a couple of weeks ahead of our arrival where I worked with Mr Jawad to develop our local itinerary to include using the hotel taxi to pick us and drop us off to the airport. Our stay was wonderful, the whole Sofitel staff made us feel at home. Mr Abdel Rahim was super helpful arranging our restaurant reservations and giving us tips on using local taxis. In fact I would not be exaggerating to say that all the staff we encountered carried a welcoming smile and addressed us by name. The Sofitel team arranged a one day trip to Marrakech with the hotel taxi. The driver, Mr Hakim, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Besides speaking multiple languages, his knowledge of the area is impressive and his command of the history of Morocco was enriching. My wife and I are seasoned travelers and have been to Asia pacific, Europe, South America and the Middle East. I would be only fare to rate the Sofitel team at 10/10. Arrived approximately 2:50 pm Monday, February 16, 2026. Doormen pleasantly greeted us upon arrival, assisted with luggage and directed us to reception area. Numerous guests sitting, waiting, several employees seemingly feigning activity, not attending to anyone, nor acknowledging our presence. Awkwardly stood in middle of the small reception area waiting for direction. Eventually, I politely asked if we needed to wait to check in and received no other response than "Passport please". Check in was methodical, without pleasantries. Another guest was trying to interrupt our receptionist as she was concerned her passport had not been returned to her. Our receptionist spoke to her with less courtesy than I would have expected that she did not have her passport and it was another colleague who had taken it from her. Room condition was extremely disappointing. "Filthy" is not an exaggeration, stains on carpet, couch, bedding (hair on pillow), poor condition, dated, in need of a refurbishment or a deep, deep clean. If this hotel had a "heyday", it must have been long ago. Breakfast room service was timely and good value. Dinner was expensive and poor quality, although service was extremely attentive and personable (great personal conversation). Interactions with doormen were always pleasant and personable when exiting and entering the hotel. Check out was smooth and pleasant. When we arrived in the evening of Dec. 27th, my friend realized that she left her phone in the taxi. The staff at reception, the concierge and at the front door immediately asked for details and tried to find ways to recover the phone. Within 5 minutes, they identified the driver and called him to come back to the hotel to return the phone. We are very grateful to the friendly and very helpful staff, who saved our day.

Good location at the edge of Medina. The staff is friendly. Breakfast is average for the cost. Dinner is of good quality. Somewhat expensive, the restaurant is basically an extension of the lobby. Great views from the high-up floors. Very easy to get a taxi cab. Security personnel totally irrational. A friend of mine with an extended stay due to a later flight needed help with luggage packing, but his other friend who checked out a couple of hours earlier was not allowed to come up inside for a few more moments to assist with the packing of the souvenirs. The whole thing left a sour taste.

I had a most terrible experience at Sofitel Casablanca Tour Blanche. The room they gave me smelled like mold. It did not have the soap, shampoo, thats normally in the shower. The shower wasnt also working well. The room was very dark with the changing area not at all lit. The coffee maker and the cups were dirty and I was given only 1 coffee pod. Then when I checked out of my room, I asked someone to help me with my bags. And asked Reception to get me a taxi to go to my next destination. They got me a taxi but did not put my bags in it. I only found out my bags werent in the taxi when i got to my destination! After, I called them to ask where my bags were! They said they will send a shuttle to meet me and give me my bags. Apparently, they hired another taxi to do the job! And then the driver asked me to pay him! Again! So I had to pay for taxi service twice!! Because of this, i was late to go to Marrakesh. The experience left me speechless!

I checked in with my wife and 8 month old daughter; we reached after a long day of travel; and slept exhausted, then at 8 pm we were surprised with one guy opening the door while we were sleeping! Then got surprised we were in and said do you need anything? We complained to reception and they defended saying you didnt put do not disturb on the door and he knocked and you didnt amswer.. room service 3 hours after checkin? Room service at night? At least to me this is a first. Highly non recomended we will checkout first thing in the morning and never back again.

When you book a room at a "5-star Sofitel hotel" you expect certain standards. None of mine were met. The property is very run down. Every part of the rooms are dented, chipped, water damaged, have mould and rusted. This hotel is at bed a 3-star. Staff are friendly and try their best to make up for the property. Restaurant food is bad and again not up to par. I would never step back in there, unless they renovate the building top down!
