Point A Hotel London Kings Cross – St Pancras

Basic but well-thought out and everything felt nice and new. Easy check in. Quiet, felt secure. Free coffee/tea from machines in the lobby. Comfortable bed, everything you need for a short stay. Wouldn't be great for a long stay as the room is small and there's not much storage/wardrobe space, but great for occasional 1 or 2-nighter.

All dining was about 5 minutes from the hotel, close to the station, but because of that, the area wasnt very clean.

A very high price for a room with no window but not prepared to pay even more for a window. Very large accessible bathroom with convenient soft night light. TV fine. Outrageous that as there is no kettle they charge £2_50 to pour hot water on a teabag in the lobby: this is pennypinching that makes me want to avoid this chain.

Very clean room. Good housekeeping. Reception staff were fantastic. Lovely continental breakfast. The only issue i found were that there wasn't a kettle in the room. Get plenty of tea/coffee at breakfast time then after that you but if from the bar area. Great location. 5 minutes from King's Cross Station. Near lots of shops and bus routes.

Good size clean room close to St Pancras at a reasonable price for the area. The check in is slightly odd being half digital half in person - pick one. The lift is very small.

Good location for Kings Cross/St Pancras. Lifts small, no way could you fit 4 people and luggage in. Which means an extended wait for the lift if you are on higher levels. Staff very friendly, prices of drink reasonable. Free Tea and coffee in reception. No drink facilities in the room, which for me was a big negative.

The hotel was easy to find and in a decent location for walking to the areas in London, that we wished to go. We opted to walk from London Liverpool Street Station to the hotel, which was just over 2 miles, taking under an hour. We were warmly greeted and aided in carrying out the check in procedure via a tablet. This procedure resulted in a room no being allocated to a key card. Unfortunately the key didn't work, so we had to go back to the reception, where staff at the desk sorted by producing another card. The room was small and compact, but adequate for a short stay. Everything was provided, from towels, toilet rolls, body wash/ shampoo. The double bed was comfortable and the option of. mood lighting was a nice added touch. This mood lighting can be switched off if not required and so you can have complete darkness ( some reviews, say yo can't) After a short rest, we then walked to the West end theatre area, which took just over half an hour, being under 2 miles and then back again after our meal out and show. Breakfast was a buffet style continental, with refillable coffee/tea, fruit juices. There was plenty of room to eat, which led to an unrushed and pleasant start to the day. Point A, is a hotel , which I would highly recommend for a short stay in London and now that we've experienced it for the first time, we'll definitely be using it again for our next West End theatre trip

Great location, checkin was easy, we were able to check in early with a tiny fee which was worth. We were chechking out early the next day and would miss breakfest, so they gave us the option to have breakfesst on our check in day which was much needed and appriciated. Very friendly staff and complimnetary coffee is always a plus.

This hotel is very mordant and clean with an efficient and customer-focused staff. My room was very small but everything was new and stylish. Very convenient to St Pancras station. Unlike many other small-room properties, this one has a good bar/cafe area for refreshments or for just hanging out.

Great staff decent room, slightly claustrophobic as there is no windows In some rooms It excellent air con. Under the bed was abit mucky tho.

Clean and spotless

Clean, modern and ideally located, just a short walk to the station, this is a modern, no frills hotel with staff supported self check in. Really clean and comfortable for one night before an early morning journey. The room was quiet and well equipped, there's no tea/coffee (there are machines in the reception / dining area) good wifi, aircon, mood lighting, what more do you need.

We stayed here for one night and it was perfect as it was clean, comfortable and a few minutes' walk from King's Cross. We knew the room would be small but it still had everything we needed including black out curtains, air conditioning and toiletries. The room and bathroom were very clean. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Very impressed and would stay here again.

Clean, good value, nice ambience, helpful staff

Small room, probably only space for one person comfortably but you could squeeze two in but the room was clean, comfortable and modern with everything you need. Lobby area is a nice place to hang out. All of the staff have been very helpful.

The check-in experience was quick and easy but unfortunately the bathroom had a terrible sewage smell which definitely affected our stay.

Location was quite convenient and it's just a short walk to King's Cross St. Pancras Station. But the twin room was quite small and the mood lighting wouldn't turn off... Otherwise, it was an okay stay!

Normally like it here as work keeps sending me and the staff are always pleasant and the rooms are clean and nice and quiet etc. Annoyingly the WiFi kept cutting out while I was on conference calls and trying to do other work. Please fix this.

Room was too hot, but ac was then too noisy to sleep with. Very noisy room generally, so constantly disturbed. I arrived at 11pm, so thought it might be quieter. Expensive box. Won’t stay again.

Hotel was fine other than room was extremely compact and AC broke down during the night. Would use it again

Room cramped had to climb to get to other side of bed, poor curtains let light in poor window sound proofing so could hear road noise, no facilities to make hot drink in room

Firstly I’d like to commend the staff at the hotel. They were all courteous and friendly and the rating in no way is a reflection on them. The hotel is modern and the rooms were clean but tiny. The 3 star rating reflects the following. 1. The room was cold during the night even with the heating set as high as it would go. This probably wasn’t helped by a draught coming through the window and the fact we were in the middle of the first cold spot of winter. 2. There are no hot drink making facilities in the room. You can buy tea and coffee in reception (again from helpful friendly staff) but in our opinion being able to make your own drink last thing at night and first thing in the morning is more important and useful than being able to set the room lights to whatever colour you want. But for a one night stay the hotel served its purpose.

The room was tiny. Not AT ALL the size shown in the photos. The first room was supposed to be a double but only one side was accessible. The nice manager changed to a slightly bigger one but it was still tiny. Very unsatisfactory. We won't be staying with this hotel chain again.

Nice staff. Very small rooms. Didnt sleep at all due to lots of road noise. So bad I thought the window was open. Mentioned it to staff in the morning, and they told me of the 'no window room option'.

It was in a fairly noisy area and the hotel is very very busy. The property is modery appointed and trendy - but the rooms are extremely small. Some do not have windows - feels risky for fire.

Okay stay. Rooms have AC. Weird check-in experience though. The latest to hop on the trend of making the customer be his own employee, the corporation who owns these hotels seems to think it's up to you to figure out your own check-in with a weird little tablet that doesn't even come in English by default, bugs heavily, and wants to know altogether too much about you. The staff helped, kinda, but this is just the sort of thing that irritates me. If you're that desperate to have the minimum possible number of employees as a corporation, then maybe you shouldn't be running a business.

When there are two staff behind the check-in counter do they stand there and watch you struggle with the machine. Try the old fashioned way manually with smile!!!

I arrived for one of my many visits but my room wasn't ready. The man on reception (I think Rashid) whi has served me before was very good and got my room changed immediately which was a big help. Room was a bit noisy but then again it is near KX.

The majority of the staff went out of their way to be extra kind. The others were what you’d find in any hotel. I plan to stay there when I go back to London.

Employees very friendly and helpful

We arrived early and they had secured storage for our bags (for what I thought was an acceptable small fee), check in was good and the staff were helpful. Only niggle for us was that our A/C unit “blew up” at 23.30 and set off the fire alarm sensor in our room…. Staff were good, moved us to another room straight away whilst they set about dismantling everything to try and shut it all down/off.

I thought we were having a decent enough stay until the desk receptionist decided to aggressively shout at me and treat me very rudely because his lack of English caused him to misunderstand something I said in all innocence. He was rude and dismissive and it left me very upset. I requested regular cups for our roo. because we didnt like using paper cups for our morning coffee. The morning receptionist had explained that they sometimes get rowdy guests who break glasses and cups, however he acknowledged that we were older (i am 74) so could be trusted. Thing is though, he forgot so when I asked the evening receptionist he was less than helpful. I told him what his colleague had said and told him "we are not going to smash anything. We are just normal people who don't go around doing thongs like that". He flew off the handle and was offended by me saying we were normal people. He insisted that by saying that, I was suggesting that he was not normal. English is my first language so I know what I said should not have been offensive, but he couldnt understand that and just kept shouting at me, saying I was rude. I cant believe that a staff member would treat a guest in this way. I am appalled.

This is my second time staying at Point A hotel and I would again. Clean,friendly and helpful staff and overall what you need for a busy city break - a good place to rest your head! Room is small so be prepared but as I said all you need! Would recommend! Kingcross location is ideal for transport links and airport. Area felt safe.

Lovely room, 6 minutes walk from station for Eurostar. Everything I needed for an overnite stay

Really nice room despite having no windows. Easy check-in and check-out with friendly and helpful staff. Also very convenient for King’s Cross and St Pancras stations, so made it easy to get out and about.

Perfect location near the station, ticked all the boxes for me for an overnight stay to attend an event.

Amazing hotel! Was just what my partner and I needed for a couple nights in London, especially with the heat we were hit with. The air conditioning was so easy to adjust and made it such a comfortable experience at night. The bed was comfy, the room was clean, and we had all we needed. We only had breakfast one morning since it was a bit expensive (£13 per person) but the food selection was good and they also offer take away bags. An easy walk to Kings Cross and St. Pancras, as well as to some attractions like the British Museum. Convenient location and overall a great accommodation for the price. Would recommend and would definitely stay again!

Good location for transport routes

Staff really helpful and friendly. Buffet breakfast is great , continental but includes boiled eggs, ham and cheese, as well as all the usuals. Has lifts to all floors 😊😊😊

This is my second time staying at Point A and my husband and I loved it. They have the best breakfast with delicious baked goods, yogurts, eggs, etc. We also liked the modern rooms, and the hotel's location. It's close to many tourist attractions and transportation. We walked to most places.

This hotel was within walking distance of St Pancras Railway station, rooms were clean but basic. Breakfast was busy, coffee from machine was dreadful

great hotel, room and bathroom were spacious. tiny elevator in the front, but bigger elevator down the hall. the complimentary breakfast was so good, great variety of food and they were all great quality and delicious.

Great hotel in a good location. The only downside is the road noise, but this is to be expected in London. Breakfast is continental so nothing hot but it’s fine for on the go. Fruit / pastries / cereal / yoghurt

Paying for breakfast for this hotel is a joke. They er serving almost only pastory, to be paying that much for so little is a joke.
