Nerea är ett otroligt bra hotell och vi kom på oss själva med att ställa in ett par av våra aktiviteter för att bara spendera mer tid där istället. Enkel men bra restaurang, härliga rum och en liten men välskött och aldrig överbefolkad strand. Hotellet har också två systerhotell nedför gatan om man vill variera sig lite och använda deras strand/restaurang. Vi bodde i en rooftop suite med en egen liten pool men använde sällan terrassen då vi trivdes bättre på stranden. Stolarna där var också mer bekväma och det finns parasoll vilket det inte gör på terrassen.

Although it's relatively small, we loved how quiet and secluded we felt on the property. The pool is wonderful and snakes its way through the resort, and you're only a few steps from the private beach. The rooms were spacious and clean, and having a balcony with a view of both the pool and beach was amazing.

Was a great secluded place with private beach and dock. Very peaceful. Pool/hot tub was nice, rooms were even nicer than the pictures, staff was very accommodating and friendly. We will book here anytime we come to Tulum in the future. I would say as far as food though they have great breakfast, but lunch/dinner I would go eat elsewhere. All in all excellent place though!

We had a magical stay at Nerea Tulum! The staff were so kind and accommodating. The property was peaceful and relaxing, great for couples. It was nice to stay away from all the partying and craziness in the main strip while still having access to the beach and activities. There is a cenote just down the road and the hotel has kayaks and snorkel equipment that you can use. The only downside was that the jacuzzi was attached to the pool so it didn’t get warm. Very minor because the rest was amazing!

PERFECTION. Beautiful location - quiet, relaxing, wonderful little beach and pier. Staff was the best - friendly, accommodating, warm. We took advantage of the free kayaks and paddle boards to enjoy the crystal clear, warm waters. There was a bit of seaweed the first day, but cleared up the rest of our stay, and they worked tirelessly to clear what had accumulated on the sand. Our room was beautiful and so comfortable. Parking and security made having our own car to get to the busier parts of Tulum and cenotes very easy. 100000% will return and recommend for anyone wanted to enjoy Tulum but be out of the way of the party zone.

Un hotel y servicio muy lindo.El desayuno una delicia,muy fresco y a la carta. El staff un amor,la habitación muy limpia,con pomos grandes de shampoo,acondicionador y crema para la piel, el refri con agua ,soda y cerveza y lo llenan a diario sin ningún costo. El hotel es muy tranquilo no vez a los huéspedes ya q solo tiene 22 habitaciones,por tal razón fue un completo relaxxxx.Súper recomendado.

We returned to this area of Tulum after our stay at one of the sister hotels, Mereva, last year. The area is quiet and more private than the busy Tulum strip which we prefer. Nerea is a bit more lively than Mereva. We stayed in an oceanfront room in April. If you want to avoid seaweed best to come before April or after September. The weather was perfect. Staff is great. It’s safe, the food is wonderful. Great pool and lounging options. Only thing I’d say as constructive criticism is the beach area was a bit neglected - it didn’t get raked in the morning like they did at Mereva, and staff didn’t seem to be picking up finished beer bottles, cups as frequently as I would have liked. There could have been a bit more maintenance too like weeding around the beach. Would make a big difference. Overall this is a great hotel, great location, great staff and great food and I’d recommend. Would also recommend the Tucan Kin shuttle from the airport and the Tulum ruins / snorkel tour with the included lunch option - it was top notch.

My wife and I spent a week there in mid-March. The staff were extremely nice, friendly & great to have a conversation with. We value a location that is not too busy with tons of people & loved how quiet & peaceful it was due to not being in the flight path of big commercial airliners. The rooms were very clean and in great shape. Honestly, the only thing I could find that needed done was the bikes chains could use some oil. That's it! Even the fan blades were clean. It was very peaceful as there were no families with young children due to not being in a hotel zone(in my opinion). I definately would like to return some day. Truly a slice of heaven on Earth.

We spent 5 nights of our honeymoon at Nerea and had an amazing time! We got the rooftop suite with the dip pool and an amazing view. The bed was sooo comfy. The pool and gardens are kept sparkling clean. The staff there are the BEST! Ivan served us our romantic couples dinner on the pier which I highly recommend! Ivan helped make it feel really special. Teo served us breakfast and the most amazing cocktails at the bar. The menu was incredible and we loved everything we tried. Isabel was very friendly and greeted us at the front desk every day. She helped us with everything we needed with booking excursions. Overall, we can't wait to go back! We are a lesbian couple and Nerea was very LGBTQ welcoming.

Nerea is relaxing, beautiful, and a comfortable hotel. The staff is kind, ready to help, and well trained for their tasks. It is exceptionally clean. Nerea offers us a new experience in cuisine, an amazing landscape, and opportunities to reset our wellbeing. I would go back there is a blink of an eye.

I was checks in early for I came in sick from the day before. Out of the three hotels I stayed on my 14 day stay this was May favorite. The room was great and clean. The swim up great. I recommend this property. And Brandon was a great help with Tv and over all a very respectful young man.

We had no heated water while there, even with many attempts of the maintenance people to fix the issue. There's no sidewalks or even paved street in front of the hotel, so during rainy weather is a completed mess and unsafe.

Beautiful beach, quiet, serene environment. Healthy, fresh dining options with attention to dietary restrictions. Some plumbing issues during my stay, television didn't work, and some staff careless or not up to par yet engaging in 'harassment' for gratuities. *Unnecessary since great service is what equates to great tips, not asking without providing stellar service. Janet is excellent and was a joy to be around.

5 stars is not enough for this beautiful oasis. The property is absolutely gorgeous with a boho tropical vibe. The food is fresh, flavorful and healthy. My room offered a private rooftop pool that overlooks the sea. However, my favorite part of this location was the fabulous staff. Thank you to everyone, especially Jesus, Oscar, Miguel, and Javier. I appreciate all of you for treating me like I was VIP and making my birthday so special.

My husband and I were purely sold on Nerea and making this our go-to getaway spot in Mexico, however upon our last day a staff member by the name of Ivan had lied and stole the fish we caught on our fishing tour. We instructed him to keep the fish in the freezer and we would take it back home with us. Instead he told the kitchen staff we said he could have it. It broke our hearts because we loved the location, our stay, and had a great time until the very last day we found out what Ivan had done. We made sure to tip and be friendly with staff however this was done to us. When we reached back home, I unpacked my luggage bag to find that all of my gold jewelry was stolen. This jewelry was never unpacked or left out in our room. We suspect whoever cleaned our room literally went inside our luggage and took all of my jewelry including a Kate Spade watch and bracelet. So beware. Even if you take the necessary precautions, never trust a smiling face.

We had no heated water while there, even with many attempts of the maintenance people to fix the issue. There's no sidewalks or even paved street in front of the hotel, so during rainy weather is a completed mess and unsafe.

Nerea is perfect if you just want to be somewhere chill and quiet. You can’t walk into tulum, but the staff is super helpful and quick to find you a taxi if you want to go somewhere. The whole neighborhood is also gated with a security checkpoint so you feel super safe.

We had a magical stay at Nerea Tulum! The staff were so kind and accommodating. The property was peaceful and relaxing, great for couples. It was nice to stay away from all the partying and craziness in the main strip while still having access to the beach and activities. There is a cenote just down the road and the hotel has kayaks and snorkel equipment that you can use. The only downside was that the jacuzzi was attached to the pool so it didn’t get warm. Very minor because the rest was amazing!

When I arrived I had a bit of upset stomach, Janet one of the servers at the restaurant ordered for me hot ginger tea, she checked on us the next day. Felt so comfortable and relaxed. The restaurant is fresh kitchen and organic. It is delicious.

Everyone on the property was completely nice. The only complaint I have is how they charge for absolutely EVERYTHING! My 1st night I ordered the lamb and it was lamb leg, not what I thought or what I’m used too but of course I tried it, didn’t like it. Took one bite, asked the lady if I could change and she said of course but you still have to pay for this. So, I did but didn’t order anything else. Water $12! Everything is extremely high for no reason. Just understand that nothing is free or cheap.

Was a great secluded place with private beach and dock. Very peaceful. Pool/hot tub was nice, rooms were even nicer than the pictures, staff was very accommodating and friendly. We will book here anytime we come to Tulum in the future. I would say as far as food though they have great breakfast, but lunch/dinner I would go eat elsewhere. All in all excellent place though!

Not a big deal, but also not expected in a Michelin rated hotel. The restaurant though, it’s hard to even know where to start. Food is poor quality, very expensive for what it is, and very limited in the options you have. Skip the ceviche, it’s not worth eating. Service is slow and the bare minimum effort is provided.
