Nice staff, very modern and super clean rooms, nice food although with limited options for breakfast. Fitness room is nice, location of the hotel is convenient. On the other hand this is not a hotel for families nor for it claims to be. Go in - go out, have a nice sleep and decent breakfast. I stay here any time I visit London.

Enjoyed my stay very much. Very friendly, knowledgeable staff. My room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful with so many options. The gym, big with cardio machines, weight machines, and dumbbells among other things. Great location, six minute walk to the tube, and train. Neighborhood also had lots to offer with pubs, restaurants, grocery stores, and sites. Eco options if you wanted them for your room. I would stay there again, definitely!

Extremely convenient location within walking distance of central London attractions, and good connections by public transport. Very simple checkin and checkout via kiosk. Room was clean and had all required amenities, including an excellent rainfall shower and separately enclosed toilet. Very effective blackout blinds and air conditioning made for a comfortable stay. Bar, gym, snack bar, umbrellas to rent and Uber kiosk all very handy. Bar and snack prices very reasonable for central London, and was able to enjoy £10 credit thanks to the “purple goes green” scheme (skipping room cleanings). Staff were friendly and helpful. One of the best London hotels of this kind I’ve stayed in.

Everything was ready for early check in, the bar was open til 11 and nice to sit and have a cocktail after a long day. Everyone was well-informed and pleasant. They held our bags safely so we could stay in the city until our flight. VIP amenities were applied effortlessly and the hotel is walking distance to the train. Very lovely experience!

- very clean (pristine white sheets and towels, bathroom and floors spotless) - regular and black out blinds - yes the room gets warm but the AC cools down the room in seconds - tv with LED background is so cool, mirror lights perfect for makeup, individual reading lamps - fridge, nice touch for keeping drinks cold - safety aspect of keycard use in elevator - self service easy check in and out - small drink/snacks available to purchase (better prices than in shops) - adjustable head rest on bed Honestly everything was perfect so thank you! Close to train/tube station. Definitely be back.

I love Yotels, and this one was fine- good location, just what I needed, BUT I couldn’t get the temperature quite right- usually either too hot or too cold. And I only needed the room cleaned once during my stay, but they didn’t change the sheets (??) and the floor was dirty.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but our stay at YOTEL London City was extremely disappointing and nothing like what was advertised. 1. Misleading room size & pictures – Our room was described as 118 sq ft, but in reality, it was closer to 90 sq ft with only about 30 sq ft of walking space. Photos online (via Expedia) made it look far larger and more open. 2. Awful view – Every morning we woke up to a view of a brick wall, unlike the brighter, more open views shown online. 3. Poor room placement – Both of our rooms were placed in the back tower with no natural light or decent view. 4. Inconvenient bed setup – The bed has to be folded upright during the day to make any walking space. 5. Zero luggage space – Nowhere to comfortably store suitcases without blocking pathways. 6. Design flaw at sink – If one person uses the sink, the walking space around the bed is completely blocked. 7. Shower disaster – Every time we showered, the bathroom flooded and water poured into the room. We were constantly stepping in puddles of soap and water, turning our “hotel room” into a slippery, unsafe swimming pool. 8. Air conditioning failure – The AC is programmed to shut off automatically. We woke up sweating in the middle of the night multiple times and couldn’t fall back asleep, leading to sleep deprivation and completely ruining the trip’s comfort.

Nice and quiet hotel - we had the triple room. Room on 1st floor, window was facing into the other building, which was also the hotel, and facing "into" the lobby, so no streetview. Had "privacy blinds" that allowed light in but were not see-through from the opposite rooms. Windows do not open, but there is an air conditioner. Room was small but had what we needed. Also included a small fridge to store water etc. Comfortable beds - the double bed came with a double cushion. We got that changed to singles when we went to the reception and asked. Our child thought the bunk bed above the double bed was a real treat. It was comfortable and wide as well. A bit weird with the very thin frosted glass wall around the toilet and bath, and with the sink for washing your hands in the room, not in the bathroom stall. Would not recommend this hotel for new couples or people wanting more privacy, since you can almost see through the wall and it is in no way sound proof. :-) Breakfast was lovely with a nice selection of hot and cold options. There's also a cold water dispenser that you can use throughout the day.

For the price, the location, cleanliness and service was great. However the only light source was the window through the bathroom which you would draw the blinds as it’s a public facing window. So the room was constantly very dark and insufficiently lit. There was also an issue with the shower door seal so a massive puddle would form in the bathroom and flow towards the bedroom after every shower (room 111). We would stay here again but request for a higher floor.

Quite a business type hotel so simple and compact rooms. Service was good. The only challenge was when we first checked in, we were give a room without a window...and that was dark and suffocating. We complained and we immediately moved to a room with a window and that was perfect. The only weird stuff was the purple colored room lighting (can't imagine why) and the motorized backrest on the bed. Other than that all fine

8/10. 3rd time in a year staying here. Super clean, modern, great location. My only small criticism, the room was small, but lovely; just the fact double bed, which was comfortable, when fully extended, touched the wall with the TV. There’s no alternative than to climb over your partner if you need to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. I know this can’t be helped !.

This is a terribly designed room. We knew this is a micro hotel and we have stayed in others before, but here the door hits the bed making it hard to get out of the room. There is no privacy in the bathroom. There is no place to put down your suitcase. There is electric power only for one side of the bed. The room is dark because to close the shade for the bathroom eliminates all natural light for the whole room. The staff was nice and the mattress was comfortable but it is a shame that the room is so poorly designed.

Avoid room 136 as it has no windows, feel we should have been informed of this in advance having paid a premium; previously was on 3rd floor in identical room but with windows, makes huge difference

This has become my go to place to stay in London. The rooms are small but they’re clean, comfortable and quiet. The hotel is convenient to the Farringdon Underground and railway station and for an additional charge there’s an amazing buffet breakfast.

This hotel was great from the moment I walked through the doors. The staff was very kind, helpful, and attentive. There is a nice bar in the lobby that also has a kitchen, and more snacks, coffee, and goodies available in the lobby as well. It smells very nice too! The room was nice, with a city view cool features such as led colored lighting, and a remote control bed. The shower was amazing with a waterfall head and they had plenty of amenities stocked up with nice hand soaps, body wash, shampoo etc. Cons: The bed was uncomfortable in my opinion, and the cleaning staff never came to our room to straighten up while we were gone all day the first and second day. This normally wouldve been fine with me but I would have loved some clean towels as they instructed to place all dirty towels in a pile on the floor for housekeeping to swap them out but when I returned, I came back to a pile of wet towels. Other than that, I would stay here again. The location is a little further than I would normally prefer from the main sight seeing attractions but I don't mind a little cardio. Oh and last thing, theres not really anywhere to put large luggage, my partner and I both had large suitcases.

My husband and I stayed for five nights and were extremely satisfied. Not only was the hotel affordable, but it was very clean, staff was friendly, bed was comfortable, and it was a great location. The neighborhood was safe, quiet, and the train station was a five minute walk from the hotel. We will definitely be back.

Very small room but perfect for getting around London. Tube station very close, we walked and tubed all over. Staff very helpful, a new and modern hotel, we would definitely return here. Great restaurants, pubs and museums nearby.

The hotel was close to all transportation so catching the tube to the train station was easy. There was a grocery store on the corner and the in-house restaurant was amazing. I love the cappuccino machine. Such a wonderful staff, always positive and helpful!! London was beautiful and I can’t wait to go back!!!

The Yotel is in a fantastic position with Farrington Underground station only about 250 metres away. There are also heaps of bus stops within 100 metres, even though I never used the buses. Everywhere I needed or wanted to go to were only a few stops away on the tube. The Elizabeth Line got me to most places (including back to Heathrow) and the other lines I used (Circle, Metropolitan, etc) were also handy to anywhere I wanted to visit. Once you get used to the tube lines it's very easy to get around. As for the staff, they have all been great. Friendly and knowledgeable about the best places to go to and best trains to catch. My room was only a single and I was a bit disappointed with the lack of wardrobe space. There was a tiny bed-side table with a roll-out shelf for my laptop, as well as 2 small drawers for smaller clothing items. More annoying was the lack of a kettle to boil water to make a coffee or tea. In fact there was no coffee or tea in the room. Nor was there any crockery and cutlery, which makes sense when you can't make yourself a hot drink! I spent a lot of time in the cafeteria, which is where you can get your meals throughout the day as well as setting up the laptop to do some work, check emails, etc. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and found the convenience to everywhere the best part of my time here.

Overall a great stay. Hotel is located 5 minute walk from Farringdon underground station with multiple lines to city and airport. Rooms are modern but a little small. Breakfast is very good. Staff was all friendly and room was cleaned daily as if brand new. Recommend !

Only dissapointing thing at this hotel is the fact that you have no tea/coffee making facilities in your room. If you want a hot drink, downstairs to reception you go. And it's not gratis. £2 a cup, each time. Seems to be a trend in these "hub" style city hotels which cater more towards the business guest.

The room was amazing and we actually got to check in early, which was fab. Staff were friendly. There was a leak in the bathroom door seal which we let them know about. The only downside was the breakfast, which looked awful, so we didn't bother. It's a real shame as the staff and the hotel are great. The cooked breakfast really needs looking at.
