Went to check in at 3:30. Room not ready. Elevator was out of order. No luggage storage so had to carry all my luggage up or leave it in my vehicle, which was not recommended. Room: cigarette burns all over bathroom sink & floor. ( non-smoking room) tub drain clogged & tub dirty. Floatys when you turned the shower on. Turned the bed down and sheets had stains on them. No coffee maker in the room. No morning food as advertised. Coffee counter had some homeless lady with her head on the counter like she was passed in the way. No one at the front desk in the morning but could hear them laughing in the back. People standing in front of the main entrance door smoking.

Hotels.com said the facility had a hot tub and a pool. It did not! There never has been, it wasnt just out of service. We were also told it would have a free breakfast. It didnt. Just coffee. There was no ice, they didnt check the room daily unless you paid a fee. It appeared it was the place for all the transient people to hangout. Which, no shade they need a place to go, but with them came giant dog poo piles and a massive amount of cigarette butts. On that note... it was supposed to be a non-smoking facilty but our room wreaked of cigarette smoke. I can say the front desk staff was helpful, friendly and apologetic about not having a breakfast, pool or hot tub. And... them not checking the room daily means less sheet washing etc so therefore it is good for the environment. Also there is a 2 burner stove, a microwave and a full sized fridge so if your trying to tourist on a budget there would be ample opportunity to fix your own meals right in the room. And it was pretty quiet as long as you're not bothered by highway noise. I feel like it was hotels.com that did me dirty here not really the hotel.

Over all privacy was nice. It wasnt loud, staff was nice but property was really dirty down to the elevator and stairway. The whole 2nd floor i was on smelled like cigarettes being smoked inside the facilitie.

The staff were amazing, helpful and very supportive. The overall of the place was decent, a nice little display of something to get you by before a real breakfast at the front desk. Laundry onsite was a nice detail. Water pressure was great, hot water! The bathroom was clean, towels were great not scratchy. However the beds were like sleeping on indented cement blocks. The carpets were stained here and there, and at times a faint smell definitely let us know “pets are welcomed”.

My only concern is the Hotel keys every time we got back to our room it doesn’t work

However you cannot enter through all the doors, and doors are not on all sides. Garbage was piled up outside both days we were there. Location is great though, walk to the Maverick Center and various restaurants. There is an elevator. Our room was not very clean, hairs in the bathroom. One wall by one of the beds was splattered with various different colored...things. I don't want to know what they were. Bathroom sink faucet sprays everywhere. The heater/ac unit was just fine. Easy to what was going on in other rooms/hallway. The door to the bathroom, the mechanism jammed more often then not and the door squeaked so bad, we were not able to sleep for long. Everytime someone used it everyone else was woken up. It is nice having a fridge, microwave, and stove though. Beds and pillows were on the firmer side.

Dirtiest hotel ever. Stank elevator. Dirty bed linens looks soiled and full of short curly hairs disgusting. Bathroom was dirty sink and shower full of hairs so gross. This is a hotel for homeless people living there. Also the free breakfast is a to go breakfast only offering cofee and a gronola bar. Not worth your money at all. Do not book tjis dirty stinky homeless filled hotel.

The property was dirty and grimy in the rooms with stains on the floor, lamp shade, sinks, and inside the toilet. The room also lacked bath towels and other basic amenities such as toilet paper. Furthermore, some of the staff were not super friendly and overall felt unhappy to be there. The only redeeming qualities of this property are that they let you bring your pets and they have a little kitchen area. Overall I felt the room was disappointing for the price.

Girls were great up front. However room was not swept, halls need vacuumed, bed sheets had hair all over so they brought me new sheets. I had to change them. Can not ever except the front which really is long long walk they won't let you enter side doors.

We checked in very late and tired. the hall ways were dirty. The room hadnt been cleaned. They tried to show us 2 other rooms and they were both dirty. Poop rings in the toilet, yeah all over the floor, wood chippings all over. Was not impressed at all. It was too late to look for another place so we asked for new sheet, made our own bed and just stayed

Hotel was dirty starting from the lobby. Looks like it had not been swept or vacuumed in the lobby and hallway. Room was semi-clean but the fridge was so loud it was hard to hear the tv and harder to sleep. Not worth the price.

DO NOT stay here! We had to change rooms due to fridge not working and bathroom sink not draining. The upgraded room's carpet was so filthy and sticky! The tub was covered in long dark hair and soap scum. The bathroom sink also had not been cleaned-hair in the sink. We put out shoes on to go to bathroom in the middle of the night. This reservation is for 7 days, Non-refundable. Our solution: I went to the front desk and got cleaning supplies and cleaned the bathroom myself. We bought 5 shower curtains to cover the discussing sticky carpet. We bought a mop and cleaner to mop the floor. The sheets and linens seemed clean. I tried to add photos. The option won't work. Go figure!

It wasn’t clean

Needed to sleep for a few hours on a road trip so it served its purpose. Little run down but appeared clean. Bed was surprisingly comfortable.

Refrigerator is very loud

Bathtub was clogged. Had to take shower in puddle of water. Everything else was nice. Are is great. Close to highway and restaurants.

It was a decent stay and had a small kitchen that allowed me to store some food for my visit. While the general area was clean, the carpet have not been washed in what seems to have been years, rendering my exposed feet to blacken. Rather disgusting, so I had to wear shoes in the hotel room. There was almost no breakfast other than coffee provided.

Plus: location is perfect, room conditions are good. Staff is nice. Issue: traffic is noisy at night since it's next to freeway. A little crowded guests in my opinion.

You can tell that this hotel is a cut above regular budget hoyels. The one great negative is that the carpeting is so bad and also absolutely filthy. Except for that, it would have been a five star stay

The bed was rock hard and uncomfortable. The smell was unpleasant

We had to switch rooms. The first room smelled like wet dog and the stopper had been pushed down in the bathroom sink making it unusable. Thanks to Shauna for getting us into another room. The second room was much better.

Staff was very friendly but the property could use a bit of a over haul rust on the fridge, base board vinyl falling off, shower drained slow ,ac made the room really humid

Came in late after weather delays forced me to miss my connection. No toothbrushes available at the front desk because they “hadn’t restocked.” Went up to my room, which was a recently vacated room with dirty laundry on the floor and an unmade bed. Had to wait a while at the front desk for someone to come give me a different room. House phone line was never answered. When I finally got a room, it was pretty run down. The pillows were nice!

Our stay was ok, the tv service was not as advertised and the staff was nowhere in sight.

This hotel is by far the best one around for the simple fact is that the staff is all so amazing I mean that makes the stay the best Micheal is an outstanding GM and his whole staff is right there with him he's truly an amazing individual and does the absolute best he can with what he is given to do so with. So the hotel is very clean and if anyone says different there crazy cuz the way I see it is there isn't going to be maintenance and someone to clean up after people 24/7 so yeah some garbage is gonna pile up however it is always cleaned up it's never left for to long so to me this hotel is a great stay and would recommend it to anyone. Thanks again Michael you're the best don't let anyone tell you otherwise!

Worst experience ever was told there was no rooms clean at 11:00pm when I arrived and they told me to go elsewhere and I already boooked the room online a week prior

The person in the front was on the phone for 20 minutes it was horrible

The staff was very helpful. Bernadette had the patience of a saint. She handled a homeless (we think) family with patience and respect. The children 4 or 5 of them were running around eating lots is sugary foods, but Bernadette kept calm and professional in her exchange with the family.

I loved the day time young lady manager Jessica. She went above and beyond to not only meet my needs but the needs of the other guest. I cannot give her enough praise. Unfortunately her boss the general manager needs some retraining. He is rude, unprofessional, arrogant, and will not entertain any notion of him being wrong. Good sir if you only knew what i do for a living you would be very smart as to change your attitude

This property was like staying in the “hood”. It was dirty throughout the lobby, stairwell and hallway. The room was decent as far as cleanliness probably because they clean it when you first checkin but don’t clean after that till you check out. The lobby had tons of people loitering in it. Not sure if they stayed there or were just hanging out. Kids always coming up and begging for stuff as we left. Not sure where the parents were. Sketchy people in the parking lot all hours of the day. I would not stay here again and do not recommend it. We thought they had cleaned up that area but apparently not. Don’t stay at any of the hotels on Decker Lake Drive. All trashy and probably a bunch of criminals just waiting for the right moment.

Felt like a hotel in a major downtown city. Several people just hanging around. Was approached by a homeless man asking me to buy one of his rocks. Felt a bit uncomfortable each time I came back for the night. Room seemed to be clean but very worn furniture and carpets. No TV remote in the room.

The location is great for freeway access, nearby shopping and entertainment, and restaurants. This location has all you need to be very convenient for a temporary stay.

I would not bring my friends or family here. Very low budget hotel. Riff raff getting drunk outside, when I arrived. Room was depressing: furniture badly scuffed up, the vanity had a huge crack in it, and various nicks and dings everywhere. The a/c was super loud. I couldn't leave fast enough. The front staff was friendly, room was cleaned, although tired. It is next door to Maverik center, which would be convenient if you're going to an event there, but I would look at other options first.

The location of this hotel is perfect if you are going to the Maverick Center as you can walk right there, and it is a dog friendly hotel which is all great, but it ends there. When we checked in, mind you we had booked this room 3 weeks previously, we were asked if we wanted to stay at the West Jordan location, to which I said we have an event at the Maverick Center, the lady said ya so does everyone else, we have OVERBOOKED tonight… we were able to keep our room however she told us that housekeeping hadn’t been able to get all the rooms cleaned…. Our carpet had clipped toenails on it, the smell of ammonia in the room made our eyes water, there were puke spots or something all over the carpet, worn out old was the style. No ice maker in the hotel, no coffee pot in the room. We’ve stayed at multiple extended stay places, this one looked like it was a part of skid row. And the front desk lady tried to charge me for two nights. Choice one of the other hotels that are right next to this one. The smell in the room can’t be explained , there are no words that describe making you want to rip your nose off your face.

This property says free breakfast. Well when there’s no breakfast available I guess it’s free that is one of the reasons why I decided to stay here. I asked the front desk and he said that the manager forgot to order breakfast. Dropped the ball management thanks a lot.

There was no breakfast at 9 am, chose this hotel because it was included and would save an expense. They were apparently out before 9am signage indicated it was until 9:30 am. Just a thought they should offer coupons or make a partnership with IHOP as it is next door. I had coffee at the property and had to spend $10 on breakfast.

On the hotels.com website it clearly lists breakfast as included. However, it's not a real breakfast unless you consider coffee/tea and pastries a breakfast. Both nights there were people partying in the parking lot.
