The hotel is in a very convenient location within walking distance to Ealing Broadway station. It has a very small carpark which you are charged for. Our room was comfortable, however we had to move rooms early evening as apparently our bath was leaking. Joy, from reception, was very apologetic and gave us complimentary drinks as well as breakfast,which was much appreciated. I booked this hotel due to location and the fact I could use my Tesco clubcard rewards. At the time of booking I was unaware that the hotel bar/ restaurant was undergoing refurbishment (needed as looks dated). We ate our breakfast in dimly lit conditions. Good selection of breakfast items on offer, well made coffee and good service by friendly staff.

We have stayed at this hotel in the past. It's a relatively small hotel....5 floors and 2 elevators. For our entire stay of 11 nights, one elevator wasn't working. And, for the entire time, we never witnessed any kind of repair / maintenance work being done to the out of order elevator. The hotel has a good sized breakfast room...but only 1 option for breakfast. That is, the buffet @ 14.50 GBP per person. Too expensive and too much food for our liking so we never took this option. The hotel needs to rethink their options, their use of this room....which outside of breakfast was seldom used by anyone.

I stayed here for two nights with my sister recently to catch up with friends as I used to live in Ealing. It’s the first time I have stayed here but I’ll definitely be back. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the room very comfortable and clean and the location is excellent. It also has car parking for a small extra charge which is essential in the centre of Ealing.

Unfortunately the heating was not working. I was very cold the first night but the staff did offer me a portable heater the next day as heating didn’t work properly. I did have a voucher for a complimentary breakfast though. Also the bed was not the best. Two beds pushed together with a duvet which did not fit correct. I had to sleep in the middle in order to get enough duvet. Great location though and very kind staff.

Checkin was quite simple & the two ladies were lovely. Room is atypical for London. Parking charge of £20 is ridiculous. Parked off the property about 5mins away for £12. Overall would recommend if you’re in the vicinity.

The room itself was very comfortable with coffee making facilities and 2 complimentary bottles of water. It was very hot and no air conditioning. There was a fan provided. No USB ports and the bedside light sockets were not standard UK ones! Staff were lovely and provided an extension cabe.

We stayed 3 nights for a family wedding at Pitzhangar Gallery. This location could not be more perfect. It was super convenient and the plethora of food and shopping options was amazing. The staff were helpful. The rooms were a decent size and well equipped. Excellent value for money. My only complaint was that the carpet in our bedroom had numerous stains which the staff said they would address.

Clean bathroom. Good service. Had Australian/universal electrical adaptors that we could borrow. The carpet was a bit stained, but the room was clean otherwise. We asked for a mini fridge and were given one. Overal, a pretty good hotel with great service, in the perfect location. Only a 5 minute minute walk to the train station with the new Elizabeth line, plus other lines. Ealing Broadway is a safe neighbourhood with excellect shopping and dining options.

I booked the property based on other reviews and whilst the common areas of the hotel are lovely, my room was not. The bedsheets were not clean (covered in hair), the tap in the bathroom vanity was set to scalding hot and I couldn't work out how to change it, and the heating was not working. When I mentioned this to reception staff they were extremely apologetic and offered a radiator for the room (which worked wonderfully to heat up the room), and a complimentary breakfast (which was substantial and delicious). Unfortunately the hot water issue couldn't be fixed as their maintenance person wasn't available and I was checking out the next day. I had to make do with using the hand held shower over the bath tub. Also the accessible room I was in, was definitely not sound proof. The hotel was in a great location though, reception staff were helpful, and lots of pubs and other good dining and shopping options nearby.

We arrived just before 2pm and couldn’t check in until 2:30pm maybe change the check in time everywhere is normally 4pm so by changing this would ensure rooms are ready. Bedroom was comfy and overall okay but the carpet was disgusting, not only had stains but just really dirty.

Great modern hotel in a fantastic location for a 2 night stay. The interiors and room was modern and comfortable, the only negative was the stain in the bottom on the toilet bowl (needs a good bleach) and the stains on the pale carpet. Why have pake carpets? Glad i took my slippers. Other than this I would stay here again.

The hotel has a great location, with many restaurants nearby. However, the bedding was disappointing. It was dirty and had bloodstains, indicating it hadn’t been changed. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Rooms that face street are less quiet. Stuff was friendly and polite. Breakfast for us was included. Menu was limited though. It is not easy to eat the same breakfast 4-5 mornings in a row. Eggs, bacon, sausage( one kind),beans and hush browns. Area seemed safe. Multiple options of dining out. Vietnamese, Greek, Caribbean, Indian, Pizza, Korean, Wings, Hamburgers to name a few, not to mention several pubs. 7 minutes walking to tube station. 30 minutes and you are in a center of London. All in all pleasant experience.

Fantastic location in the heart of Ealing. The hotel's presentation is exceptional and you're treated like a VIP (slightly off putting but it's well meaning!). The bedroom wasn't quite at the same standard though with some wear and tear and dated amenities - such as some strange non-standard plug sockets for the lamps, so you couldn't plug anything in by the bed. Also, I needed twin beds but the design of the room seemed set up for one double bed - a minor issue. Extra costs for checking in 2 hours early (even though the room was ready) and parking hiked up what started as a reasonable price.

I have stayed at Xanadu many times in the last 15 years. Although the hotel change ownership and the wonderful Chinese restaurant is no longer in operation, everything else remains well and good. Many staff came and gone in the 15 years, but the service standard remains excellent. Bed and bedroom are still larger than most hotels in London. And comfortable. I still get my hot chocolate and biscuits in the room. In the old days they provide Walker Scottish buttee biscuits. Now is English digestives. TV is now flat screen and much larger. A special thanks to the operations manager Ionela. A wonderful leader and manager who keeps everything tip top. Thanks also to staff like Kai who laughed a lot, George, Sang, etc. I wish i can remember their names. Such wonderful peoole. They are a real asset to the hotel.

I was in town to visit friends. This is an excellent hotel. The staff were all terrific. I am blind and need a little bit more help than the average guest, but the staff were perfect. Warm, friendly, courteous kind and helpful. I could not have asked for more. Fantastic service. Thank you.

over the last 10 years I've stayed in many different hotels in west London. I can honestly say the Xanadu is for me the best. its located in central Ealing close to transport , buses, tubes, mainline . restaurants, bars, yet quite, lovely efficient staff, clean and tastily furnished rooms. powerful shower, complimentary water, biscuits , tea and coffee. even (on request) Green tea was provided. I don't know many of the staff names , but all are very friendly, and special call out to Santos who lives for customer service. He and the rest of the staff are a credit to the employment policy

love this hotel, the staff , the location, the comfort all first class , the recently refurbished Bar / Dining area is super comfortable and easy on the eye. The location is perfect even for those wanting to visit Central London ( 14 mins on the Elisabeth line to Tottenham court road ) . Super highly recommended

This hotel is in a good location at the end of Bond St in Ealing, less than 10 minutes' walk from train and Tube services to the city centre and Heathrow. Staff were friendly and helpful, so the service was excellent and the breakfast was very good. It was our first time in Ealing, and we quite liked it. We'd stay at Hotel Xanadu again, and we'd definitely recommend it.

Very nice boutique hotel with big rooms, confortable seating space and bedroom. Bathroom was spotless clean with all that you need for your stay , even the dental brushes. Batrobers were so soft ,luxurious, making you feel warm and sleepy. Breakfast was great, including very nice barista coffee of your choice. I already recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

We stayed here after going to Wembley Stadium. Not particularly near Wembley but nevertheless a lovely hotel. Very friendly staff, comfy bed, and an amazing breakfast in the morning. We opted for the continental variety which was delicious, lots of cheese, salad, bread, pastries, yoghurt, fruit etc. Enjoyed our stay, thanks Xanadu

Great service from a really friendly reception team. Useful having a small car park (pre booking necessary), but the room itself was small and there was some unfinished building work with some strange ducting, a fan and the accompanying holes in the wall/ceiling. Strange decision not to serve sausages with the included hot breakfast buffet (you can pay extra for sausages) Overall the hotel needs a bit of a refresh.
