The Westbridge Hotel Stratford

Reception staff very welcoming and helpful. Room clean and comfortable. Loved the hot chocolate sachets and bottle water in my room.. Wonderfully large bath towel. Breakfast was very good, tasty and lots of variety ( not free).All staff friendly and helpful.Hotel close to Stratford station , ABBA Voyage Arena and many restaurants.Also can book an Uber cab from the hotel without having an account.The Gym was also well equipped and bottle water and towels were available. Over all a very good hotel in a superb location.

Great hotel that blends subtly into its surroundings along the main High Street. Only a 7 minute walk from Stratford Station. When you walk through the front doors you get a feeling of opulence and there was a warm welcome from Reception. Unfortunately, this hotel isn't fitted with a lift but if you're travelling light then this isn't a problem but I was offered assistance with my luggage anyway. The room was clean and comfortable and when I am next in London I wouldn't hesitate to stay at this hotel again. Only one slight issue was the bathroom sink was struggling to drain away but I guess this is something easily remedied.

Friendly staff and clean room but advertised as having a gym which was why I chose it and when I got there told it was being refurbished

Not really a restaurant (just heated up pizza) but pleasant hotel convenient for public transport and Abba Voyage. Nice breakfast (coffee disappointing) with fresh fruit and other produce, plenty of staff ensuring nothing runs put. Room had been refurbished to a good standard.

This hotel is a bit of a hidden gem tucked away on a busy road. Inside it is lovely. Staff very helpful and friendly, there was a good breakfast. Suite was really nice and spacious with a small balcony and staff had very kindly decorated the room for a birthday celebration. Walkable to the Abba Arena and Westfield. Only downside was no evening meal was available unless you ordered externally and had it delivered.

We had a really enjoyable, one-night stay at the Westbridge Hotel. The room was comfortable, clean and attractive. We had a great meal in the hotel restaurant and it was convenient for the ABBA Voyage arena. Later in the evening we made use of the delightful lounge and even had a game of "Shove ha'penny".

Working in Westfield shopping centre this hotel is only 10mins away. Really nice room and very clean. The room has a lot of mirrors as a feature but unfortunately room 106 had several broken mirrors which gave it bad luck before the stay had started. Extra positive as much as you get a little noise from people walking past your door (which is understandable )you do not get anything from the next room ie toilet or tv noise. Only negative would be it’s sold having a bar and restaurant, did try and get a pint after working 14hours only to find it’s has cans or bottles bar only this then put me directly off having any food as that could also just be a ding frozen meal. House keeping 11 out of 10 well done 👍 Did not see or get any offers of parking so parked in the shopping centre £16 for 24hours. Over all would recommend for the stay if you are eating and drinking elsewhere.

Great location for access to Westfield and Abba Arena. Paid parking close by at bingo place next door. Friendly staff. Would recommend.

We stayed here for ABBA Voyage for my mums birthday, so a group of 5 of us. What strikes you immediately is how helpful and caring the staff are, nothing is too much trouble and they somehow always seem calm even though I'm sure theh aren't! I had asked for all rooms to be on the same floor but when we arrived they weren't, they did try their best to change that but we had to stay as we were. We also loved that the staff make the pizzas in house (which are amazing by the way). There is a lovely outside seating area too. Our only small gripe was how warm the rooms were and you have to ask for that to be changed, and you can't open the windows. We were only there one night so we just managed and it was unusually warm for the time if year. In general this place was great, excellent staff and location for what we needed.

Lovely hotel and the staff were very polite and friendly. Bedroom was really nice.thebed was comfy and i liked that you could control the heating and lighting from the tv remote control. Fridge in room was very handy. The bathroom was ok, quite small. There was mould on the grout along the bottom of the window and the grouting in the shower could be doing with re grouting. The shower cubicle would be better if replaced if they cannot get the mould along the bottom sorted as it didn't look good. The water pressure in the shower was quite poor. Breakfast was good and there was plenty of it. The restaurant isnt open for dinner but there is a list of local restaurants that will deliver to the hotel and you can eat in the restaurant area or your room. Very handy if you are going to the Abba arena, 15 min walk and easy to get to.

The smell in the room was disgusting. It was not possible to open the window which made it even worse.

Room was spotless well equipped. Staff very helpful and polite. We had a fantastic time staying here

House keeping did a terrible job. They don’t clean well at all. Even after complaining they still didn’t vacuum the room two days in a row. With obvious dirt in the floor. Had to go personally to get the them. Also AC wasnt cooling complained everyday for 6 days and yet they couldn’t fix it

Arrive to the hotel and get access to my room, "Suite 006" which smells like sewer. I tell the reception this and they go to inspect the room. The young woman arrives and apologises and gives me a new room. Room "G8" in the cellar. This room smells like moist and sweat. Both rooms were very dirty and I didn't even use the bathroom because of this. I can't fathom that this is even a 1 star Hotel. Would not recommend anyone to stay at this place. Choose a different hotel.

Location was great, room was tidy and big enough for two. The terrace is the best part, private and makes the room bigger. Really recommend.

The property is fine for a one night stay. It’s a bit dated. My main issue was the WiFi. Horrible speeds and was unable to open even my emails. As a tourist who didn’t have a local sim, this was very inconvenient.

The room was very small but nicely done. The bathroom was fine for our needs. The staff were friendly and welcoming, my only complaint was the WiFi was rubbish. It was incredibly frustrating, I did speak to reception and they said they would reset it for our room. It then worked really well for 10 minutes but then dropped out again and was hit and miss.

We were put in the suites at the front of the building. The beds shook frequently from the train line and it was very noisy

Good hotel, nice rooms, helpful staff, breakfast was hot, better than some other hotels. However, the air conditioning in the rooms is quite noisy and fan continues running for up to 30 minutes after switching a/c off. At night the noise seemed louder and prevented us from sleeping until switched off.

Room was at the front of the hotel so although a really comfortable bed and fantastic pillows there is some road noise... We couldn't work out how to get the light above the door to switch off without taking the card out the slot and this then turned the Aircon off ... We could have asked the staff, they were very helpful but it had been a long day..... Big plus easily walkable to ABBA venue and some lovely walks along the river round three mills... Would recommend this hotel but would suggest you ask for a room at the back if you like it quieter....

Amazing hotel - Staff were very friendly and helpful- such nice happy people - Rooms were fantastic very clean updated to high standards. Highly recommend this hotel - we had a wonderful stay.

Staff were excellent and could not have been friendlier. Room was ready early and checking in was easy. They do great Pizzas which you can order late and they had it up to the room within 10 minutes Room was great, bed was comfy and the place was clean. There was a mechancial/drilling sounding noise which sounded pretty close to my room and would go off almost periodically but it wasnt a huge issue. Location was perfect, went for a gig at the Copper Box so very close. It's also very close to Westfield shopping centre and the train/tube station to get in to the centre Overall a great expierence especially for the price which was extremely reasonable.

The staff were amazing nothing was too much trouble, anything we asked they went out their way to help even when we went for breakfast without booking they took time to explain things. I would recommend them with 10 stars.

This place is the definition of unassuming. From the outside, you do not expect to walk into what I consider a five-star hotel experience. The hotel itself is spotless, charming, and just the right kind of quirky. Where this place shines is their choice in staff. You are not going to find concierge/front desk/customer service better anywhere else you go in London. Several times I was almost confused by how helpful they were. Let me explain. I called down and asked where the Coke machines were. I still don't know if there are Coke machines because they insisted on bringing me a soda to my room in a glass bottle on a tray with a glass full of ice. I mean, what kind of place does this? I am now officially spoiled. I guess that's my only complaint. It's going to make going to any other hotel in the future a little lackluster.

What a great find. This little gem is nestled in a busy area but provides calm and quiet in its modern elegance. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and went beyond the call of duty. Would return again in a heartbeat.

Our stay at The Westbridge was so much better than we’d expected a hotel to be, being so close to the Abba arena. What excellent value for money. The hotel staff were welcoming, friendly and so courteous. The hotel was fresh, clean and well presented. Our room was really lovely and overlooked the courtyard garden. We hadn’t booked breakfast but decided to include it last minute, having smelled the bacon! We were glad we did as the hotel offered everything we could’ve wished for and everything was cooked perfectly and was freshly prepared. We really couldn’t recommend this hotel highly enough, especially if you’re going to ABBA Voyage. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would most definitely stay again. Thank you to all the staff who were equally as attentive and helpful.

Amazing location close to the train station and shopping centre. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent too! Great Transport links to ABBA voyage and the city.

We stayed here due to its location near the ABBA arena. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were ok the bed was a little on the hard side for me. The general area around was a bit grotty but close to Westfield and Stratford station.

Excellent location as we were going to ABBA arena and it was an easy 14 minute walk away. Nice restaurants close by to the hotel and close to Westfield Stratford for shopping. The hotel staff were very friendly and the hotel is very clean. Would recommend.

Clean bathrooms, good location though it seems a little unsafe at night. Room was a bit small. Lots of shopping at the mall by 10 min walking distance as well as entertainment/restaurants. Staff was always very friendly and helpful.

The West bridge Hotel is the little Hotel that tries. But considering Stratford is dirty and Dangerous after 9 pm, you may want to think it through before booking here. (Please Google Earth the neighborhood if you think I'm kidding.) The front desk people were cheerful and helpful. The kitchen help treat the customer like they are prisoners of war. The rooms are painfully small and some rooms have nowhere to put your belongings.The Beds are very uncomfortable and the bathroom and shower are positively tiny. Breakfast is excellent.....but just don't outstay your welcome while you're there. The help is unhappy and it's reflected in the work. You just don't feel welcome. In short. It's relatively inexpensive but it's like New York City 1975 in the neighborhood. The front desk staff deserves applause for making chicken salad out of chicken 💩 I hope they find a more suitable hotel to ply their talents.

Hotel was clean and room was very nice staff were very helpful. Close to Abba arena. Although there is no parking at hotel there is parking two mins away which cost £25.00 The only complaint we had was after returning from Abba concert at 9.30 we thought we would use the 24 hr food service but on our return to hotel we were told by a member of staff that they had ran out of food which was not what we were expecting to here. We did complain to reception the next day and was told that should not have happened and they would be addressing that situation with that member of staff.

I was made very welcome at check in. It was explained that unfortunately the restaurant was unable to offer pizzas as there were no toppings available but I could choose from the other menu and it would be brought to the hotel within around 10 minutes and served at my table. On getting to the room I found a information card with a QR code on it re restaurant partners. I scanned the code only to find that all the 5 restaurants that came up were closed at the point of me trying to check out. I rang reception to be told that there was a menu in the room I could choose from, which indeed there was alongside the pizza menu. I went to the restaurant and ordered the BBQ beef spare rib and chips which was duly delivered quite quickly however, although the chips were very hot, the spare rib was barely warm and had a very strange texture. The waitress offered to warm it up for me but although now hot, it neither improved the texture or the taste and I left most of it. The trainee manager handled the situation very well and offered me another meal but I said that I would be happy with the dessert I had ordered so he said he would void it off the bill. At breakfast the following morning there was an excellent range of choice however, I was very disappointed with the hot choices as all the food was tepid and with cold plates, the food was cold by the time I got it to my table. The fried eggs were overcooked, the sausage was very poor quality and the bacon was smoked/not very nice

Excellent location for Abba Arena, staff were courteous and very helpful. The bedrooms were clean and well equipped. There is no restaurant as such but Pizza's (very nice!) are available in the bar / as part of room service all day / night.
