Embassy Suites by Hilton Salt Lake West Valley City

The hotel was in need of some updates…the staff was wonderful from the night check in clerk, the morning clerk, the breakfast staff, the made to order eggs station ladies, the happy hour lady bartender all very happy, cheerful people! Our room was ok…we wanted a top floor room got a 3rd floor out of 7 floors. Also all the pictures of the rooms on many different sites showed walk in shower with glass doors…looked updated, but we got the old tub/shower combo…was clean and in good shape but we needed the walk in style. Our room the sofa was stained pretty bad, we covered it with extra blanket in the closet. The kitchen chairs were very old and fabric was torn and stained…we didn’t use them. The beds were comfortable and nice to be separate from living area…nice to have a Large tv in bedroom and one in the living space. The breakfast room was small but the made to order eggs was awesome and ladies do a very good job…the choice for other items were scares but the did have crispy bacon, sausage links, cubed fried potatoes, and variety of breads, a waffle maker, but cereal, yogurt, fruit, was very limited choices. The happy was not great for appetizers…bowl of chips, bowl of popcorn, a bowl of cheddar fish crackers, a dinner plate of pineapple slices, a dinner plate of melon, a dinner plate of cubed cheese…2 alcoholic drinks was nice and unlimited fountain drinks. Overall it was ok but could be so much better with some new furniture and better appetizers…nice pool & gym.

The room was spotless, it was in a perfect location, and the staff was very very kind, including the housekeeping service. We will definitely stay here again!

The staff was amazing. I wish all hotels had such a friendly and amazing staff.

The stay was great, but check in was confusing. We were not given the requested room we booked through expedia. We requested a singke King and recieved a double queen. The hotel couldnt change the reservation because we booked through expedia. Hopefully we were not charged for a doubke queen.
