Hampton Inn & Suites Keene

Nice simple and modern. Great customer service. Check in and out was simple and quick. Unfortunately pool wasnt open but guests where advised the Best Western across the way was allowing their guests to show room cards to be able to use the pool their facility. Clean rooms but no laundry amenities available. Had a great stay. But whiling using the side door my wife notcied the levels on the walk way were not defined and walking thru at night time could create an emergency for another guest. Thankfully she caught her balance in time Thanks again

We had been camping in Maine for six days and were on our way home. We easily parked in the parking lot with a small pull behind camper and truck. The hotel was clean and welcoming. Bathroom and shower were excellent and bed and room were comfortable and clean. The breakfast buffet in the morning was nice. A little better than what you would expect for a “breakfast included“ hotel. The pool looked lovely. I wish I had a suit. Even though it was a little bit more expensive it was well worth it for us.

I traveled there for a baseball tournament and I booked this hotel because it had an indoor pool but when we got there the pool was closed for maintenance.

The pool wasn't open at 6am on Saturday.... No towels on Saturday and Sunday at Pool Pool was freezing cold on both Days Lady at front very nice and helpful letting me in the pool by 7am on Saturday.

The place is very comfortable. The breakfast was very good. The only problem was that the pool was down. We did not need it but there was a family that was very disappointed.

Very friendly staff and the room was nice. Unfortunately the pool was out of service.

The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Was disappointed that the pool was not open. Was told it’s been closed for awhile. There was no mention of that when booking. If the pool is something you really want to use, I recommend calling to ask if it’s open before booking.

Hot or cold breakfast options. Large dining area. Always coffee, tea, hot chocolate and cold water available in lobby. Staff friendly and accommodating. Indoor pool, but closed.

staff was friendly and put out a warm plate of chocolate chip cookies for breakfast! Pet friendly with updated decor and very clean. Convenient to food and shopping as well

I really enjoyed my stay, however I stayed for two nights and I came back to my room after my conference and my room had not cleaned or serviced and my trash was full and over flowing. I unfortunately had to put more trash on the floor but was disappointed that it had not been cleaned

Good hotel for one night. The only thing we didn’t like was the mildew smell from the shower curtain in the bathroom. Other than that, it was a nice hotel.

The Hampton Inn is quite new and in very good condition. The staff was super friendly. Our room was quiet and clean and was well designed for our short stay.

Carpet was nasty and sticky. Breakfast area out of condiments for oatmeal x 3 days. Night clerk sleeps at desk. Day manager wears wrinkled and dirty looking shirts

This hotel is not what I expected! It is run by college students and manager are hardly available. The bedroom had a strong filthy odor, AC was blasting cold air and was not working, black hair in the bathtub, soil wall next to the toilet. We were awake most of the night from kids and adult partying all night in the hall way. I requested a room that was on a quiet floor. I called the front desk many times, the noise continued for a long time. Coffee and hot water was not hot at all. I received no apology from the manager after requesting to speak to them in the morning, the manager was not available. Terrible service! Very expensive!!!

Everything was great except the bathroom door to the room was a sliding door and had no lock. I just pooped by the pool, I prefer a door that can close and lock.

Besides the main entrance doors not working,and trying to get in to check in.The room was clean for the most part except we found a couple of pills on the floor under the desk. I picked em up with a tissue and threw them in the trash. The shower floor was stained yellow and other than the shower gel there wasn’t any other type of soap. The carpet was unraveling around the threshold area in front of the bathroom and where the bed is causing us to trip a couple of times. The phone wasn’t connected to contact front desk. We had to ask for toilet paper only a half roll on the holder when we checked in. On the 2nd (Sat)day we needed clean towels and needed our trash taken out. Our room was not serviced and we were told they typically don’t clean or take out trash out of a room until after you check out. That would fine if the trash cans were a little bigger. We we’re told to place the trash on top of the trash receptacle on the 2nd floor in front of the elevators,along with all the others. They couldn’t give us anymore trash bags because housekeeping wasn’t there at this point. That was about 7pm The trash receptacles on the 2nd floor were already full with trash on Friday when we checked in and it was still that way when we checked out on Sunday. Front desk staff never mentioned anything about any of this information when we checked in. Also the breakfast buffet could offer something for everyone. No Gluten free options?

Hotel was just remodeled and looks ok. Issue in our room was bed was broken and couldn’t sleep at n one side without sinking into it. No one was available to do anyr by the time we found out. Complete waste of money and not sleeping just made it that much worse.

The check in was quick and smooth, the staff was friendly and efficient. The room exceeded my expectation— well designed, clean, and welcoming.

This is in a convenient location in Keene and the price was reasonable. However, the maintenance, at least of our room, was poor. There is a shelf in the shower that was falling off the wall. The shower doors were hard to move, and one appeared to be off its track. There was a pull out shelf for the hair dryer, but the handle for that fell off when used and we found that the threads on the screw holding the handle on were stripped. There was a door in front of the mini fridge in the room that was falling off the cabinet, so it wouldn't fully close. The desk chair was stained on the seat. Other than that, the bed was OK and the room seemed relatively clean. Breakfast came with the room, and there was always plenty of food, but it was institutional quality. The egg dishes appeared to be microwaved frozen, pre-prepared items. The had "fresh" fruit, but the bananas were mostly black and unappetizing. The orange juice from the juice machine tasted watery. The coffee was weak. They did offer some gluten free bread, bagels, and muffins that were OK. There was a waffle bar, where you could make a fresh waffle and that was good. Overall, it was an OK hotel at best.

Overall the stay was just OK. The room was clean and well equipped. The only thing not working as expected in the room was the sink stopper was broken. The free breakfast was mediocre. The front desk was understaffed but when you finally got attention it was good. The lobby microwave that I used to heat up my cold out of the pot coffee was a biohazard. It needs a good cleaning. The next time I visit this town I will probably try a different hotel.

At check in I had to stand and wait almost 10 minutes as the attendant took 3 phone calls.

We never got to stay. Booked 3 rooms months ago, but they didn't have any of the rooms we had book after a long day attending a wedding we had to travel home because there were no available rooms anywhere. Terrible experience!

I booked on Expedia and showed up to hotel and was told they overbooked and I didn’t have a room. This was after a 4 hour ride, arriving at 7:30pm. All other hotels in town were sold out so was told I had to travel to VT to get a room. Would have been nice to receive a phone call ahead of time. Was also told I needed to contact Expedia for a refund. Ended up finding a B&B in town thankfully. Then received a message at 9pm from the hotel saying they made a mistake and had a room for me- which I did not accept since I already checked in somewhere else. Reached out to Expedia the next morning (5:30am) and was told they need to get approval from the hotel for a refund since I booked a non-refundable room… even though I tried to check in and was turned away. After several calls to the hotel and Expedia I was finally given a refund for a room I never received. What a nightmare. The property said this happens all of the time so beware.

Upon arrival we were told that my hotels.com reservation would not be honored. They only had one name on the reservation and I had booked 2 seperate rooms. Somehow only my reservation was still on hold but it was a different room. Luckily it was 2 double beds instead of 2 seperate only king bedrooms. Not sure what was charged, but I would like a refund our credit on hotels.com for the aggrevation and embarrassment that I experienced.

Great staff, great position. Stayed here whilst visiting friends in Keene. It was so easy to get around and close to Main Street.

Nice and quiet. Movie theater and food are right across the street. Very clean. Very well priced.

Close to everything in Keene, not walkable to downtown, but close to major stores and a few restaurants, close to campus.

It was a bit off the downtown area and by a strip mall. The room and bathroom were clean.

Everything was super BUT I would have liked recycling containers in the dining area for the plastic juice/ fruit cups. They were next to the elevator with the trash can! I had to ask for more towels but that was easy remedied! Delicious breakfast with many selections including gluten free options!

Overall, a very nice stay. the room was nice & clean. Perhaps a bit spartan in room furniture but not a deal breaker in any way. Bathroom was nice & bright. Good shower with plenty of hot water on demand. Beds were nice & firm. Only slight downside is the breakfast was pretty much empty when we got downstairs. It did get refreshed (when we were about to leave) It should be monitored a little better. Other than that, an excellent stay..
