Overall my two day stay was excellent. The morning breakfast was very nice with a good variety of foods. My only complaint is parking is over $30/day and I found my parking pass card did not work in the electronic gate reader the morning of my second day which required having to back my car out of the entry to the underground parking and park my car outside the hotel and return to the front desk to get a new one. An inconvenience but not a big issue. The staff throughout the hotel is very pleasant.

Our stay was good. The staff was friendly and the hotel common areas were clean. The neighborhood felt very safe for walking and the Metro station was two blocks away. It is a pet-friendly hotel and looks like our room sustained some damage from a past pet. The bureau in the second bedroom was chewed on. The drapes had some holes in them. The kitchen chairs showed wear and the freezer had dents in it. None of this effected the function of the room and we had a great stay. The pool is very small, but has a lifeguard on duty. There is no hot tub.

Great breakfast. Clean. City view has a great view of the Washington Monument and Capitol building (from afar), which was an excellent surprise. Friendly staff. Only wish they had a hot tub and longer pool hours. We never made it back in time from sightseeing to use the pool (closed at 9 pm).

Wonderful experience. We booked this hotel as the artist we came to see was staying there as well. Staff was very friendly. Room was incredible, everything worked except a few outlets. One bedroom with full kitchen including dishwasher. Room was very clean. Mattresses were uncomfortable unfortunately. Hot water and plenty of towels. Despite the lumpy mattresses and few non working outlets, this is one of our favorite hotels and we love to come back. Did I mention supermarket nearly? Also indoor parking for $29 a day. Enjoy your stay.

My family stayed for a week. The staff and customer service were excellent. Literally, some of the best customer service I’ve experienced in a hotel stay. The hotel room we had an electrical issue which prevented us from using the outlets to charge our phones unless the light was on. Now keep in mind, our room also had master electrical switches, which is weird for a hotel room. Nonetheless, the pool was great. It was cold, but once you got used to it, it was no big deal. They have a lifeguard on site, which is cool I suppose. There’s also a splash pad across the street, which my kids loved. There’s a playground also, and lots of different eating options within walking distance. The breakfast was alright. It wasn’t anything to brag about, but it fed the family. The WiFi works well, and we didn’t pay for the up charge.

Family stay( 3 kids 3,8,10)to visit DC attractions. Close to main road into DC. We had a suite which had kitchen, table fridge and microwave. Nice hot breakfast included. Dominoes pizza right outside. Parking garage was extra but right below hotel. Pool was smaller but fine for us. Will stay here again if in the area.

Great location and good sized rooms. Our particular unit seemed more outdated than others and bathtub/shower wasn’t as clean as it could be. Beds and kitchen were great though. One of us also stepped on a shard of broken glass on the carpet. Breakfast was fine with some variation every day. Parking directly under hotel was a little pricy but worth it for convenience. All the staff we interacted either were friendly and helpful. The biggest downside was the sofa which was not comfortable at all and super noisy anytime someone sat down. The breakfast was excellent. Rooms and common areas were very clean. The quality of the beds and furniture was very good. I would definitely stay again. Parking on site was $30/night. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Our kids enjoyed the pool. The pool area was very well kept. Great experience o stall. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

I've stayed here multiple times now with family. My teens love coming to this hotel! Clean, comfortable, spacious rooms. Front desk staff are all friendly and helpful. The breakfast area is clean & pleasant, with friendly, attentive serving staff and a decent variety of items on offer. Great location within easy walking distance to the Metro, restaurants & grocery store. Plenty of parking in the garage - not so with other comparable hotels in the area. Already looking forward to my next visit!

We enjoyed our stay here. The staff was friendly and attentive; our room was spacious, comfortable and exactly as advertised. The kitchen was decently equipped but for a room that accommodates up to 6 people there were not enough dishes/utensils and the 2 pots included with the kitchen were rather small. Daily breakfast was on par with other comparable chains we've stayed in. Everything was very clean and orderly. I needed a few things during our stay - an extra blanket, extra pillow, and a plunger (!). Each time I texted the Avvi assistant I got exactly what I needed promptly delivered to our room. Also, I really appreciated how quiet our room was! Great location in Arlington; about a 7 minute walk to nearest Metro station. Felt very safe to walk around the neighborhood, even late at night. Great playground across the street from the hotel for kids of all ages!

Clean hotel near great restaurants and metro. Breakfast is decent though "hot" options for vegetarians/vegans is limited. There is daily oatmeal and way to make waffles. Internet was surprisingly not working the entire stay for some unknown reason, so I could not telework. Staff very nice.

The TV didnt not work in the first room we went to. After 30 minutes of the Engineer trying to connect it we asked for another room. We were given another room, 3 floors higher so I was happy with that. But I could never get the Wifi to connect to my phone and the cell reception inside the hotel is terrible. All in all not a bad place, but for a Marriott hotel I expect more.

This was an amazing stay! Immediately the staff were so welcoming and kind. Breakfast was amazing! The parking option was great, we came and went as we pleased! It was walking distance from a few really great gems! Thank you, we will definitely be staying again!

After booking our suite in Oct '24 and confirming it (and the availability of a kitchen to cook for our food-allergy kid) in Dec. '25, we received an EMAIL on the MORNING OF our check-in (May 23) that they had double-booked (blamed Expedia) and could not give us that suite. Thankfully, I saw the email and called them. They offered us an acceptable alternative (two rooms, but nearby and with a full kitchen), which we took, only to receive a call a few hours later (30 minutes before we were leaving on the 7.5 hour drive to D.C.) I wouldn't trust this hotel to be organized enough to guarantee you a room (even when it's been paid for months ahead AND confirmed on the phone with Marriott). It was an absolute mess.

They offered us an acceptable alternative (two rooms, but nearby and with a full kitchen), which we took, only to receive a call a few hours later (30 minutes before we were leaving on the 7.5 hour drive to D.C.) This visit was markedly less pleasant than previous ones. Service desk was not adequately staffed, long waits for service while a large group was checked in one day and a long telephone conversation with a customer on the other day. Once service manager turned to me he was professional and helpful. I had to call attention to a mishap with a dog defecating in the doorway which the service manager did not notice because he was so busy. When we got to our room the light in the bathroom was out. Service manager got someone to fix it fast. In the morning there was no consistent hot water in shower...ended up taking cold shower. Not what you expect in a Residence Inn., We appreciated being moved to another room but it was markedly smaller than the one we had been in.

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful from check-in to check-out. My room was very clean, comfortable and had a nice view with the floor to ceiling windows as well. The bed was INCREDIBLE and so comfortable - I didn't want to leave lo!

I've stayed here multiple times now with family. My teens love coming to this hotel! Clean, comfortable, spacious rooms. Front desk staff are all friendly and helpful. The breakfast area is clean & pleasant, with friendly, attentive serving staff and a decent variety of items on offer. We were visiting Washington DC and decided to stay in Arlington and take the Metro into town. Great decision! Arlington is beautiful!! Very walkable city, lots of great restaurants and the metro is a way better option then driving and parking in DC. The Residence Inn was a great hotel. Rooms were clean, breakfast was good and staff was very helpful. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

This is a great place to stay if ever going to D.C. The Metro is a few blocks away and takes you right to the heart of the city where all the museums are situated. Parking is under the hotel but you do have to pay a daily rate. Many great places to eat within walking distance.

The hotel was clean. The continental breakfast was not satisfactory. It was open until 9:30. We arrived at 8:45 and many things were out and not restocked. My husband asked for cereal. While making waffles they were taking away the batter. When asked to keep it available, they poured it hastily for him and then removed. They then proceeded to lie to the next young man who inquired at 9:15 for the batter and said it was out. The breakfast was cleaned up by 9:15. For the price you pay, this experience should not be happening.

The breakfast was excellent. Rooms and common areas were very clean. The quality of the beds and furniture was very good. I would definitely stay again. Parking on site was $30/night. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Our kids enjoyed the pool. The pool area was very well kept. Great experience o stall. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Great breakfast. Clean. City view has a great view of the Washington Monument and Capitol building (from afar), which was an excellent surprise. Friendly staff. Only wish they had a hot tub and longer pool hours. We never made it back in time from sightseeing to use the pool (closed at 9 pm).
