The only bad experience was the $75 charge to have our dog with us😠

We have stayed here before and we came back and would again. Breakfast was good. Pool was a little cold and missing towels. Beds we’re comfortable.

The property was lovely. They staff was great. Only one complaint --- the pool was very chilly... Even after being in the water for 20 minutes. They need to heat the pool better

We chose this hotel for the indoor pool. The pool room was very cold . The pool water was extremely cold. This was a disappointing choice for our stay. The breakfast was good. They had fresh fruit , eggs, waffles. The coffee was not good.

The staff was amazing, down to the housekeeper who thanked us for our stay as we were leaving and wished us safe travels. The only disappointment was the pool. We were really looking forward to the relaxation of the pool after a long trip. However, it was not heated and the water was exceedingly cold. We couldn't even get in to get acclimated.

Everything was good except I was unaware the pool would be closed

The property was nice. The staff was nice. ADA compliant bathroom was nice. Wanted to swim but the pool was ice cold. Maybe another time.

We were charged an additional $75 for our small dog. When I made the reservation there was no where to list pets. I chose this hotel because it said it was pet friendly but there was no mention anywhere that there were additional charges, if it were $5 or $10 I could understand but $75 is ridiculous

Only complaint is parking. I came to attend a training at Marshall University. Every everning i had to drive the parking lot looking for a place to park, and was unsuccessful. I had to park in another lot and risk my car being towed and walk the the room.

Nice clean hotel Good breakfast

The staff members were great! The breakfast was good not much of a variety. I was shocked when I seen a bug on the wall it made me cringe. The bed was extremely uncomfortable it made my back hurt. I have always had good experiences in the past with Hampton but this stay surprised me.

We stayed here and n the past & this time was different. The room was just put together didn’t seem like it was really cleaned before we got there. Just old. The tub drain didn’t not go down so we stood in like 4 inches of water, terrible.

Very clean. Lovely rooms. We stopped for a single night and I wish every stay was this easy and clean.

Check in was quick and easy. Our shower was dirty, walls are super thin, we could hear full conversations and also the people above us walking

The sign of the bug caused me anxiety. Can not sleep well due to the bed bugs.

The mattress was AWESOME !!.....we both got a great nights sleep !

We had a terrible night. Sounded like children playing a basketball game above us. Took it till 1 am then called the front desk. They must have asked them to quiet down and they did for about an hour then from 2-3 am they were back at it. Between them and the interstate tractor trailers going by on 64, sleep was a challenge. Never had this experience in our stays at Hampton Inn. Walks and floors are thin here. Shower floor had a soft spot. Staff friendly, breakfast options were good.

Me and my youngest kiddo stayed for 2 nights. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the room and hotel overall were very clean and well maintained. The beds were not very comfy, but my 5 year old sawed logs both nights. Overall good stay.

Stay was great! Only complaint is the level of noise through the walls and from room above - not partying, just noise of ordinary activity, seemed extra loud.

Good stay. Bed was terrible, spring bed instead of foam. All else was good. Nice people.

Good location, no highway noise, we could definitely, however, hear our neighbor snoring away all night. So if you were in room 211 recently, get yourself a CPAP please. Front desk and breakfast staff were nice.

We booked this as we stayed at other Hampton Inns and have always been pleased. We were put in room 217 directly over the lobby. The front doors are automatic and open and close and shake the whole front of the building apparently. We had just driven 8 hours and had a funeral to attend next day and needed sleep, but neither one of us could as the vibration kept waking us up. It was the worst nights sleep I’ve gotten in years. It made the day of the funeral that much harder and when we went downstairs they moved us up to 417. Much better. MUCH. Upon leaving the property I was told I was a liar by the front desk when I told her of the issues hoping they would try to make things right. Instead I was gaslit and my husband and I are liars apparently. Which when we were moved we were told ‘yeah the walls are thin and we try not to book that room until last’. I needed an accessible room. The room itself was great. I expect some noice and even use earplugs when needed but you can’t prepare for your bed randomly vibrating and waking you up all night. Oh and check out our fantastic view… of a wall! LOL Do NOT stay in that room and don’t expect them to be cordial or nice to you when you do have an issue. Most of the employees were wonderful, but one in particular was NOT and we will not be using this hotel again.

Had some trouble at check in. My room was supposed to be ready at 3 and we arrived at 5:30 and still had to wait an half hour for it to be ready. And I lost an extra 10$ wiring money BACK into a different payment method bc the staff doesn’t know what options they have apparently :/ other than that, the food was good, the pool was nice, and the room was comfy. Just wish they knew more about their policies and equipment before they gave me false information

Very accessible, quiet & clean. I would definitely stay here again. Staff was very friendly, and Stephanie who was running breakfast wowed us with her charm and service. Very enjoyable!

The staff was nice. Check-in was supposed to be 3:00. We weren't able to check in until 3:45 because our room wasn't available.

our fair alarm went off around 1:30am, waking us from sleep. I called the lobby to see what was happening as there was no smoke in the room nor could we smell smoke, and he told me that "someone had hit the button outside our door and that I need to go out and hit it again to turn it off" Sir, we were females traveling for an event and what if the person that hit the alarm was just waiting for one of us to open the door, not everyone in the world is trust worthy now days? he didn't see an issue and repeated that I needed to open the door an push the button for the alarm to go off.

It was clean, quiet, close to the expressway, and a very friendly, helpful staff.

The staff was friendly and helpful, room was clean, overall property was clean. The kids enjoyed the pool. The location was conveniently located close to the hospital, in town for a doctor appointment.

I have stayed here before, and I have never been disappointed in my stay. My room is always clean and comfortable. There is a Bob Evans restaurant nearby, as well as several fast food places. Downtown Huntington is not very far away.

Staff didn't resupply breakfast food when it ran out. Three breakfasts with no Cheerios. Coffee urns almost always empty. Our room was never cleaned during our stay.

They provided breakfast option for the marathon participants that had to leave prior provided breakfast hours.

The facility and staff were great. The breakfast on Saturday was excellent. Sundays not so much. But I believe it was due to the hotel hosting a high school football team Friday night. It’s hard to imagine how much a bunch of hungry teenage male football players can consume if you’re not use to hosting that type of crowd. Everything else was perfect. We will definitely use you facilities again.
