Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Lobby under construction bit of a cliche checking in but it’s ok. 10 am check out seems a little early. Over all nice place will be even nicer when lobby is put back together

The staff at the property was very helpful. We got in after we visited a friend of mine who recently moved into the Infirmary at St. Mary's Medical Center. We were told that we could have a room near the elevator or where it was more quiet which was what we wanted. Breakfast was incredibly wonderful and then we enjoyed the pool and hot tub at 8:00 a.m. all to ourselves!! We will definitely come back again!!

Hole in wall in the bathroom, the strip on bed frame was coming off, heater unit was loud, dog barking late at night, we could here the people in the other room, bathtub was very small and the shower head wasn’t that great. Hot tub wasn’t that hot and no towels in pool area.

We booked 3 rooms for a major surgery myt sister was having picked this hotel because it had a hot tub and pool we could all relax in after a couple long days at the hospital. We were seriously disappointed at check in when we were told the pool and hot tub were closed for painting. A heads up would have been nice. They didnt even offer a discount for not having that available. Other than that the place was clean and the employees were wonderful! Then only downside came from a corporate level.

I was not too happy with the microwave in our room, and when I asked about it I was told not all rooms have a microwave. I was disappointed with the condition of the area aroung the hotel, ground maintenance of the grounds.They are remodeling the entrance, we were there for two weeks and there was never any workers attending to the issue.

The staff were very friendly and professional. The room was clean. However, the "accessible" bathroom was ill designed. The seat was too low to be comfortable and was too far away from the controls to be usable. If I had been alone, it would have been unworkable. I want told the pool was closed for maintenance. It would have been nice to use.

Almost nothing in this hotel worked. We were told to park at the side entrance as it would be closer to our room. It was but the electronic lock did not work!!! Called the Manager and she tried it and still could not get it to work. Was told upon checking in the internet did not work! The whole stay the internet didn't work!! The pool is only open until 10, which if you have been traveling all day and have dinner plans is way to early. The Hot tub was not hot. Luke warm at best. There were no towels in the pool area. Had to go to the front desk and check them out to your room!! In the over 50 hotel rooms I have stayed in, that has never happened. And finally breakfast. One or two pieces of bread available. Some pre packaged muffins, small yogurt. but NO FRUIT.

My boyfriend and I checked in kind of late since we had such a long drive. Apple Maps was telling us the hotel was in the middle of the road, so I don't know what was up with that. The man at the counter told us breakfast started at 9:30 am and gave us our room key and we were on our way. We got up to the second floor when we realized that he had never even given us a room number. We had to go back to the lobby and ask for a room number. The next morning, we went down for breakfast at 9:30 am. But then we found out that breakfast was actually already over. It ended at 9:30. Not started then. I was pretty irritated but the lady cleaning up offered us whatever was left (like cereals and breads that were still out.) I could only eat the Honey Nut Cheerios though because I am gluten free. Other than the mishap with check in and breakfast, the room was very clean. The bed was comfortable and the shower had a good water pressure. We didn't go to the pool but it looked clean.

Not sure if there are smoking rooms or if smoking used to be allowed but I noticed a smell when I entered the building and it seemed especially strong in my bathroom when the fan came on, like it was permanently in the ventilation. Needless to say my smelled like old cigarettes after my stay.

The whole second floor hallway and our bedroom reeked of old cigarette smoke. We were exhausted after 14 hours of traveling. However, we got a minimum number of hours of sleep and got out of there as soon as humanly possible. Would have been better off sleeping in the car.

The gentleman that checked us in was great and the other staff members were very friendly & they were the best part of the stay! Please note that this hotel is BEAT up….if it wasn’t 9:30 PM and the booking wasn’t non refundable, I would have left the minute I saw the room. Cracks on the ceiling, dents in the walls, mildew on the shower ceiling, stained tub, TV stand was literally falling apart, the walls and doors were heavily scratched, paint was peeling and there were stains on the carpet. The beds were OK and the breakfast was typical but the condition of the room was unacceptable. We travel quite a bit but have no plans to use this hotel brand again…it was really THAT bad.

The AC was very noisy; not a normal noise expected from a typical AC unit at all. The floor of the room above me was SUPER CREAKY and whoever was in the room was up and moving around at about 4:30AM. I could hear EVERY FOOTSTEP LOUDLY! If not for the noise, the room would have been okay. But I couldn't rest at all. I won't be back. The AC can be fixed but the floor probably won't be. If you have to stay there, get a top floor room.

I love how this was a pet friendly hotel and my dog was welcome! I also loved how quiet it was in the room because when you came out into the hallway you could people haven't a good time down the hall but in the room you couldn't hear a thing!!

There's a saying, you get what you pay for. That would be the best way to describe this hotel. It wasn't horrible but it's nothing extra. The shower is extremely narrow (and I'm not a big person) and no towel bars in the shower or in the bathroom at all, which is a little frustrating. Otherwise, it's an older hotel but it's ok for a 1 night stay.

Comfort Inn has quickly become my favorite place to stay when I'm in Huntington. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff is fantastic - friendly, helpful and always willing to go above and beyond to make sure your needs are met. I've stayed in fancier places downtown and frankly, the experience really isn't any better. Great value for a great price!

The $50 hold placed on my account and I have not been reimbursed for it yet and I have been in a lot of motels and I have not ever been charged a incident all fees after which I had done paid for room in full and after I had done checked in the motel staff asks me for a credit card and I said I had one and they said they were just putting my card on my file in case I needed to stay extra night but then I discovered that in fact the motel staff had charged me a $50 fee for something I didn't agree to or have any knowledge of such security fees and now I have to wait 2 weeks to get my money back and I don't believe that I will receive anything for interest and why did they remove the money from my account when I didn't destroy anything belonging to the motel but you can hold my money up for two weeks well I will not be back to your motel and if I am not compensated for my inconvenience I will be telling my family friends and coworkers not to patron your establishment because of the hidden fees and the other thing the prices I was charged was entirely to much money for a 15 yr old busted up economy lodge I mean a Two Queen bedroom with nothing other than necessity's and a complimentary breakfast there was no Jacuzzi in the room and it was a simple motel room but it wasn't no $114 a night room I mean this is the second ownership of the building it was out dated

Apparently Marshall University Students were allowed to have an all night party at around the hotel. Several hundred students were outside the hotel until 2 in the am being very loud, shouting and at one point it sounded like gun shots.

The area outside of the hotel was very loud after 11:00 pm but seemed to quieten down by midnight. The room was really nice, and the beds were incredibly comfortable! The front desk person was very nice and we had no issues at all! Will plan to stay here again!

Overall this was a good stay. The staff was wonderful, friendly and helpful. The room was a good size, clean and comfortable. I have to admit I've paid more for worse conditions at other hotels. The only thing that I would note is that the breakfast was not stocked well. Came down for food 30 minutes before breakfast was scheduled to be over and there were no eggs, two stale biscuits and one piece of sausage. There also was no coffee. I get they are trying to make sure there's no waste but it was kind of disappointing. That being said, I'd absolutely stay there again!

The breakfast area is rather large, but the choices are extremely bland. Just cold cereal, some biscuits and gravy, and muffins, coffee, and juice. I didn't see sausage bacon and eggs, anywhere the entire stay of my three nights. I was forced to go down to McDonalds and have breakfast. Their was this strange ball going on Saturday night. I got back to the Hotel in the evening and the place was jammed with people all dressed up, and as a guest it made me feel totally out of place, and uncomfortable in my own hotel. All the parking was taken up and took me a while to find a parking spot. Room service was non - existent, wasn't sure if I had to call down to have my room done or not. I will be staying at another hotel next trip, and pay more for better service.
