Very clean and attentive. Breakfast was good and the lady who took care of the dining area during breakfast was amazing. She never stopped cleaning and stocking. The pool was small but nice. Very comfortable.

Staff is always friendly and professional. Breakfast is very good! The pool was once again too cool for our liking. Had our six year old grandson with us and it was even a tad bit cool for his liking—and usually kids don’t care about that coolness.

We were given a handicap room and it was a very nice clean room with a comfortable king size bed. The facility has a gym and heated pool which we enjoyed as well as a back patio that overlooked the hills and downtown Huntington. We will book there again when visiting family again

Had a very nice stay. To me, what stood out was the patio area in the back. Nice area with some seating and an overlook of Huntington. Staff was friendly and attentive and hotel was nice, breakfast was great. The only problem I had was the door to my room sticking a bit.

Loved the outside sitting area with fire and tables Only thing that could be better is in the bathroom since the toilets are low, they could use a bar on the wall to assist in getting up especially for older people.

Breakfast area was well maintained by friendly staff. Lots of options for coffee (real half and half, oat milk) Hotel is located on top of a hill with a great view from rooms as well as an outside sitting area. Large fitness area with an amazing view. Not walkable because of hilltop location, but the view is worth having to drive to restaurants, etc.

There were bugs although not bed bugs, on the wall in the room. They appeared to come out from behind peeling wallpaper. The manager gave us a moderate discount and apologized. We did not use the pool as it was not clear but a bit murky. The breakfast was good and the staff was pleasant.

Great find tucked in the mountains! Beautiful view overlooking Huntington. Hotel staff very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Lobby snack shop even featured beers and local wines! Nice indoor pool and outdoor seating area to enjoy the outdoors and evening sunset! Wonderful breakfast spread too. Would definitely return if traveling the area again.

Hotel needs a thorough cleaning. The coffee pot in the room was dusty, the shower had a used bar of soap and the bathroom floor was so sticky it felt like it was mopped with honey. Would not stay again.

Parking was terrible, our room keys didn’t work and after going back to the desk they finally came in and used a charger to get us in but then we couldn’t leave again because we wouldn’t be able to get back in. The couch had a big stain and the bed was uncomfortable. When getting ready we discovered that the outlet in the bathroom didn’t work. 😞. Won’t be going back.

The first room had a used wash cloth and hair in the shower and a thick smell of men’s cologne. I asked to change. The second room was clean but the tv didn’t work and I was woken up at 6 am by the alarm clock, which I didn’t set.

Good size room with decent bed. Sofa had several stains on the cushions. Shower was pretty nice, but moldy grout around shower surround is off putting. As we left we said that the staff motto must be “good enough.”

There was mold in the shower. The elastic on the sheets was worn. We flushed the and the bathroom smelled like sewage. Remodel. We certainly won’t stay there again! Gross!

The stay was okay. The bed definitely needed replacing. It was extremely hard and lumpy, more than typical of a hotel room. We liked their shower, and the water pressure was good. It was overall a decent stay for the price.

The room was clean and comfortable, but I killed several stinkbugs in the room (I realize some of that is outside of the staff's control). Breakfast was okay. Front desk was very professional and quick to move me to a different room due to a faulty HVAC unit. The city view from the 4th floor was beautiful!

Not much bad to say about this hotel, mostly. If it isn't brand new, it must have been recently remodeled. It is in very goos shape. All fixtures, finishes, etc look good. Breakfast was good. Front desk staff was friendly. Would have given them a 5/5 if our a/c worked in the room (set in low 60's, never fell below 71) and the beds were even remotely comfortable. King bed was bad and sofa bed was too.

I stayed from Monday through Monday. I had to ask for toilet paper 2 different days. I had to request trash emptied. Supposedly the room was to be refused every other day. I had to go to the front desk to request trash bags. I then started using store bags until after the 5th day. I went to the front desk again to ask to have the trash removed also requested tissues on Tues and Friday and was told there were no tissues in the place. Shouldn’t someone order when they are getting low?

The lady working at the front desk wasn't friendly at all. I saw her interaction with other customers she was the same way with everybody. She didn't greet anybody when they came in. She was doing her friend's hair in the breakfast area for several hours. It was nasty she had hair all over the floor. as customers would come in she would go check them in and go straight back to doing hair. I thought this was a hotel not a beauty salon. However the gentleman at the desk the next morning was great. our air went out in the middle of the night. They couldn't have anybody to fix it till Monday so he gave us another room. It delayed our plans that morning but at least we had airThat night.

Previously stayed and had a great experience. This stay, we had a rough check-in. Upon arrival, I was told we had already been checked in and out so she would need to rebook our room. I explained that the card for payment was 900 miles away because the room was already paid for. She finally fixed it and I was given my room keys. I go to my room and open the door to find it already occupied. The rest of the trip was great. All the staff we interacted with were super helpful and friendly. Accommodations were good.

When we arrived at 8pm, the employee who checked us in said that she had begun her shift at 5pm and therefore could not explain why there were no king bed rooms anymore, when there were 5 available when she began her shift. Other than this, she said very little - no explanation about anything regarding the hotel. She gave us breakfast hours only when asked. She could not explain what the 'incidentals' fee was for. In addition, she wore a sweatshirt that simply diminished her look as a professional employee representing Marriott. She smiled, which was nice, but she did not convince us that she knew her job very well. I suggest additional training for this young lady.

Breakfast had so many healthy options. Loved the whole wheat English muffins. The oatmeal was perfect and there were so many great options for topping it. It was great to be able to make the small little waffles instead of one big one. Great idea. The use of paper plates and bowls was a great choice instead of Styrofoam. Room was very clean and comfortable. We liked that we had a laundry room two doors down from us. However, the market did not stock any laundry detergent. We picked some up at the store. Outdoor area was very nice and great view.

The food for breakfast was awful. The eggs were not real, the butter was not real, the coffee was not really hot. There was no yogurt or anything like that. The shower fixture was pulled away from the wall. I will not stay with Marriott again. The staff was wonderful. None of this was their fault.

Beds and pillows were comfortable and the rooms were quiet. Breakfast was a Bon s as they offered a hot meal with eggs, sausage and waffles as well as cold options and fruit. Will stay again as we enjoy having a room to relax, work and watch tv. Home away from home while out working

Manager and front desk were great when you could find them . Seems like no one was ever at the front desk. I didn’t get my room cleaned at all during my 3 night stay . Breakfast was horrific ! I didn’t east any of it but the staff was friendly and hotel was clean . Never staying in Huntington, WV again.
