The Penrose B&B was a perfect, quiet, warm and inviting place to stay away from the busy commercial hotel/motel center of Sedona. Located in a neighborhood not far from the Bell rock trailhead, it was wonderful to come “home” to this place after an all-day hike! Not to mention the complimentary “snacks and beverages” and gourmet breakfast every morning. If you’re looking for a quaint B&B in the traditional sense of “warm hospitality”, this is it! I stayed in the Kokopelli room.

The B&B offered amazing views in a very quiet neighborhood! We were inly there for one night, but enjoyed a comfortable evening in a very charming B&B. The living room was welcoming and available to guests. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the morning and had wonderful conversations with the staff. Would stay again!

Wonderful staff and excellent service. Wendy was so kind and made the most delicious breakfasts served on the patio each morning. Ellen was equally as wonderful. Both gave us great history and tips where to go and what to see. The views are absolutely incredible of Bell Rock and Courthouse Butte. Sunrise views are gorgeous from the balcony. We didn’t want to leave! Thank you for making us feel at home n your beautiful home.

This was a very unique and beautiful stay with an unobstructed view of the rock formations from our room and balcony. The staff are very helpful, thoughtful, and kind. The chef served up an amazing and different 2 course breakfast every morning and baked up cookies for a late night snack. If I'm ever in Sedona/ Oak Creek I would stay here again.

Room was clean and the view was amazing. The rooms could use updating. We stayed in the mariposa and the room was a hodge podge of mismatched furniture. I enjoyed breakfast but my husband needed more basic options. Our servers every morning were very good! We were over charged for our stay but they did return the over charge.

We have stayed at many hotels in the Sedona area, and this was by far our favorite. A beautiful bed and breakfast tucked in a nice quiet neighborhood against the backdrop of the red rock formations. The house was so beautiful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious and gourmet. It was my birthday and they even made me a special cake with a candle !! A 10 in my book!! We will return often.

This was mine and my husband's first stay at a B&B. Very enjoyable. My only complaint was we were on the ground floor, close to the kitchen and got a lot of kitchen noise in the early AM and the occupants in the upstairs room above us was very heavy-footed and noisy. The staff was very friendly and the food and amenities were excellent. I would definitely stay here again, but ask for an upstairs room.

The Penrose Bed and Breakfast was absolutely charming. A very lovely place to stay in a wonderful area. Breathtaking views from your bed! Just lovely. Lighting and landscaping around the property could be improved but overall, a delight and I would gladly return and have highly recommended to colleagues, family and friends.

We had a wonderful stay at the Penrose B&B for our anniversary. It is situated a few miles south of Sedona, away from high traffic and crowds. We found it very convenient to go to/from Sedona while having a quiet place to recuperate from hikes. The room was comfortable with a large bathroom, and a great view. The breakfasts were terrific, different every day, and seemed amenable to food allergies/preferences. And finally, the staff were all wonderful: from checking us in and giving us a lay of the land, to offering advice on things to try, to serving breakfast. Everyone was very friendly and seemed to want us to have a great stay. Highly recommended and we would come back.

What an incredible experience!!! The staff, food, lodging, amenities and gifts were 1st class! We loved every minute of our stay and will definitely be back! We have stayed at many hotels in the Sedona area, and this was by far our favorite. A beautiful bed and breakfast tucked in a nice quiet neighborhood against the backdrop of the red rock formations. The house was so beautiful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious and gourmet. It was my birthday and they even made me a special cake with a candle !! A 10 in my book!! We will return often.

We had a wonderful stay at the Penrose B&B for our anniversary. It is situated a few miles south of Sedona, away from high traffic and crowds. We found it very convenient to go to/from Sedona while having a quiet place to recuperate from hikes. The room was comfortable with a large bathroom, and a great view. The breakfasts were terrific, different every day, and seemed amenable to food allergies/preferences. And finally, the staff were all wonderful: from checking us in and giving us a lay of the land, to offering advice on things to try, to serving breakfast. Room was clean and the view was amazing. The rooms could use updating. We stayed in the mariposa and the room was a hodge podge of mismatched furniture. I enjoyed breakfast but my husband needed more basic options. Our servers every morning were very good! We were over charged for our stay but they did return the over charge.

The B&B offered amazing views in a very quiet neighborhood! We were inly there for one night, but enjoyed a comfortable evening in a very charming B&B. The living room was welcoming and available to guests. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the morning and had wonderful conversations with the staff. Would stay again!

Wonderful staff and excellent service. Wendy was so kind and made the most delicious breakfasts served on the patio each morning. Ellen was equally as wonderful. Both gave us great history and tips where to go and what to see. The views are absolutely incredible of Bell Rock and Courthouse Butte. Sunrise views are gorgeous from the balcony. We didn’t want to leave! Thank you for making us feel at home n your beautiful home.

Rooms were same with comfortable bed, bath, and view that you just could not get enough of! The breakfasts were gourmet and filling. Snacks and drinks available 24 hours. Living room and dining room made you feel at home and provided lots of reading material. They also have movies. We just loved it and will be back!

This was a very unique and beautiful stay with an unobstructed view of the rock formations from our room and balcony. The staff are very helpful, thoughtful, and kind. The chef served up an amazing and different 2 course breakfast every morning and baked up cookies for a late night snack. If I'm ever in Sedona/ Oak Creek I would stay here again.

What an amazing Bed and Breakfast. The owners are so sweet and the cook was wonderful. She makes the best pancake with lemon and blueberries/strawberries. The view from all the different balconies are breathtaking.

The whole Inn was spotless, and the views from all the windows were incredible. Breakfast was an event! Wendy, the chef and Ellen our server were a wealth of food and fun! We loved The Penrose Inn, and highly recommend it for a great location and beautiful place in Sedona.
