Firstly, you should be prepared that this hotel has long narrow staircases and no lift. Even the reception is up on the first floor. Therefore, if you are mobility-impaired, or taking heavy luggage this may be an issue. I booked a “deluxe double” which turned out to be in the 4th floor attic space. The room was comfortable and clean (albeit with a plasticy mattress protector) , but had no windows, so slightly claustrophobic for me. There was however an opaque skylight, which had no blind. Not an issue for me as an early start meant I was up before daylight anyway, but might be an issue come mid summer for a light sensitive sleeper. Would I stay there again? Yes, and hopefully on a lower floor, and I’d take “deluxe” with a pinch of salt.

Although the view from the window was obscured due to refurbishment works during our stay. We still enjoyed the W12 rooms, and found it's price to be very reasonable considering the quality of the facilities and it's location

Easy to find and great location for the O2 venue. Very clean hall and friendly efficient reception but be aware there are tall flights of stairs to climb and we were on the top floor which is quite the workout! The room was a good size and very clean, great bathroom with walk in shower

Small room only hotel. Room was very clean and well appointed. Staff that I met were all friendly and helpful. No lift in the building, so it may not suit some people, but other than that I have no complaints. Excellent location if you are attending gigs in either Shepherds Bush or Hammersmith. Central line tube station is right outside, so very easy to get around London. Would definitely stay here again.

Very conveniently located hotel close to multiple train lines and a huge shopping mall. No elevator so taking luggage up flights of stairs is inconvenient but staff are happy to help. Rooms have air conditioning which is great for hot months

The hotel could not have been more convenient for Shepherds Bush tube station as it’s less than a 30 second walk from the exit/entrance. You have to buzz to gain entry and there is also a phone number outside above the cash machines in the downstairs convenience store. Steep stairs, but this was pointed out in the advertisement. Room had all we need. The bedding was clean, though the curtains and divan appearance had seen better days. The bathroom was well presented, but there was a smell from the shower drain at various times in the day, which seems to be an issue with smaller establishments with a number of rooms. Hairdryer in the bedroom with adjacent mirror and small desk and chair, and multi-use hand wash/lotion in the bathroom. Place to hang clothes and a fridge in a bedside cabinet, however this did not get cold however long we tried. Stones throw from Westside shopping centre with multiple restaurants. Bus stops and overground rail also incredibly handy. When we stayed there was a cloth façade outside and just a glimpse of the street. We weren’t disturbed by workmen though. For the closeness of transport transport into the city, and reasonable cost I would stay again.

The location is fantastic - right next door to the underground, overground and around the corner from Westfield London. Lots of options for food around too. Hotel room was small but to be expected. There were some things that could do with some more attention - stained curtains, headboards and the drain smell from the bathroom was almost unbearable at times. Access is all skinny and narrow stairs so be mindful of this. However staff were attentive and friendly. Thank you!

Genuinely impressed by this place. Very clean and well presented. My room on the top floor was immaculate as were the corridors and reception. A very friendly welcome and goodbye included. Definitely one to re-visit. Thanks Guys!

The location felt a bit sketchy at times but the location to the tube station was amazing. The room cleanliness wasn’t great. There was quite a few hairs in our bed when we checked in and the curtains were filthy. They have construction to the outside of the building right now but they were done by 6pm so it wasn’t an issue. Close to the mall so lots of restaurants close by.

The hotel is well located right next to the tub station but the rooms are pretty old, not well sound proofed especially if you are on the side of the street..We could also hear the conversations of the people in the next room. The head bed and curtains were pretty stained which gives a bit of an off vibe of the room although the bathroom and towels were all clean.

This property has gone downhill since I last stayed in 2019. There were stains EVERYWHERE. On the curtain, on the bed runner, the carpet. There were brown stains on the grout in the bathroom and the bathroom hardware was rusted. The towels were haphazardly thrown on the bed and they were a dingy light grey color. It was obvious the towels were originally white. Even the key card had stains on it and looked like it's been through better days. I looked at a total of 3 rooms and they were all in the same condition. I could not book another hotel fast enough!

W12 Rooms is a convenient place to stay in London. When we arrived, the reception staff were friendly. However, the building is currently covered in scaffolding and wrapped. If I'd known, I would not have booked. You could not see out of the room. The room itself was quite small (a Deluxe room). The runner on the bed was filthy and unclean. It had stains and marks all over it. The room had a quick turnover and a quick clean. The amenities were minimal. The bed was uncomfortable and felt like a waterbed. I probably wouldn't recommend unless you're staying for one evening in London.

Shepherds Bush is quite a noisy area, but the double glazing kept the noise levels low. The room was a double and although quite small, had everything you would need. The decor was pleasant and the aircon was quiet and efficient. The shower was excellent and the bed very comfortable. There was complimentary water and tea/coffee making facilities. Recommended for short stays.

What a gem to find this awesome hotel! Right next to Westfields and the underground and excellent bus routes. Spotlessly clean! Large screen TV and the bonus of having a small fridge in the room. Single rooms are on the road side of the hotel so expect some road traffic noise as well as pedestrian noises but not too bothersome as the size and facilities suited me. Staff couldn't be more helpful! Have already booked my next stay 😊

The hotel was very well situated for transport links as it is a two minute walk from Shepherds Bush Underground, a five minute walk from the overground and an eight minute walk to Shepherds Bush Market overground. 15 minutes on the train has you in central London. There are plenty good eating places nearby, there is a massive shopping mall around the corner, and it is only a 20 minute walk to the excellent Melody Whisky Bar. The hotel itself is clean and tidy and the staff are friendly. The aircon was welcome in the heatwave when we visited keeping the room at a comfortable and cool temperature. The room is very compact so don’t bring your cat if you intend to swing it, but it is fine for a place to sleep. The mini fridge was also useful to keep some ice cold water to hydrate and cool down in the heat. The one negative is that the area around the hotel is very noisy at night and the windows provide little to no soundproofing. This did result in some disturbed sleep as we stayed over the weekend when it was particularly busy and noisy. Triple glazed windows might be a good upgrade for the hotel (perhaps that is the reason it is wrapped in scaffolding).

This is my first negative review I’ve ever written after more than 8 years booking with Expedia. The hotel disappointed us in every single way except location. When I arrived at 12pm, I was left waiting at the entrance under the rain until the receptionist came to open me. The room had some serious cleaning issues such as stains on the bedsheets and stains on the toilet, when we called reception to let them know about it, they told us there was nothing they could do at the moment and we should wait until next day for the cleaning staff. The door did not had the extra lock and chain that hotel doors have for security, which made me feel uncomfortable. In general the staff was rude and they have some issues with service.

The room had some serious cleaning issues such as stains on the bedsheets and stains on the toilet, when we called reception to let them know about it, they told us there was nothing they could do at the moment and we should wait until next day for the cleaning staff. The door did not had the extra lock and chain that hotel doors have for security, which made me feel uncomfortable. In general the staff was rude and they have some issues with service.

This hotel was run down from the pictures in their advertisement. The double bed was very small. They charged 10£ per night for an additional person. We paid the surcharge on arrival since I booked prior to having a companion and was unable to change my reservation. Despite only staying one of two nights they would not refund the 10£ for the night we did not stay. Stains could be seen on the mattress through the thin mattress cover. My boyfriend is 6’3” and had to turn the shower off to soap up when showering due to the placement of the rainfall shower. Best part of this hotel was its location which is right beside the tube station. Staff members were friendly but their policies are outdated and not geared toward customer service. I would unlikely stay at this hotel again.

Great 1 night stay at this hotel. Clean, quiet, modern bathroom, convenient location (2 mins from underground station) Very friendly and helpful staff. We will be staying here again in the future. Only stairs at the property, not an issue for us, but could be for others who are less mobile. Our room was on the fourth floor.

Lovely property on the west side of London. Very convenient to the underground (when it’s not on strike). The staff were very helpful with luggage, suggestions and making cab arrangements. My single room on the front side of the hotel was a little noisy, but nothing that earplugs couldn’t handle. There was a very strong young man on site to handle the ridiculously heavy luggage that I brought. Fairly priced and convenient.

The hotel was fine but didn't meet expectations. It was very noisy (I was one level above ground floor and the street noise was constant), the walls were thin and the door had a gap all the way around that let in both light and sound. The walls and doorframes are dirty and in desperate need of a cleaning and painting. There's scaffolding up outside the building that blocks any natural light from the small, high window. The bed was comfortable at least and the staff seemed friendly. Also the fire alarm went off on my first night there around 4 am, a false alarm. The area immediately around the hotel didn't feel super safe but the hotel is basically on top of Shepherd's Bush tube station and an Overground station on the Mildmay Line which was nice, but Shepherd's Bush is not step-free -- something to note if you have a lot of luggage.

The hotel was very good. One minute walk from the nearest subway station and there is 24/7 convenience store next door. The room is modern and clean with a small fridge. However the area was a bit dirty and many drunk people during night time. However, during day time was ok.

Our stay was fantastic! The location couldn’t have been better – less than 100 meters from the station. Check-in was quick and easy, and they were kind enough to let us leave our bags the next day while we went shopping. We booked this stay after a trip to Wembley and it was absolutely perfect. The room was lovely – far nicer than we expected for the price we paid. Great value and highly recommended!

The hotel was very well situated for transport links as it is a two minute walk from Shepherds Bush Underground, a five minute walk from the overground and an eight minute walk to Shepherds Bush Market overground. 15 minutes on the train has you in central London. There are plenty good eating places nearby, there is a massive shopping mall around the corner, and it is only a 20 minute walk to the excellent Melody Whisky Bar. The hotel itself is clean and tidy and the staff are friendly. The aircon was welcome in the heatwave when we visited keeping the room at a comfortable and cool temperature. The room is very compact so don’t bring your cat if you intend to swing it, but it is fine for a place to sleep. The mini fridge was also useful to keep some ice cold water to hydrate and cool down in the heat. The one negative is that the area around the hotel is very noisy at night and the windows provide little to no soundproofing. This did result in some disturbed sleep as we stayed over the weekend when it was particularly busy and noisy. Triple glazed windows might be a good upgrade for the hotel (perhaps that is the reason it is wrapped in scaffolding).

Lovely hotel with great staff and a good sized room and bathroom. However, the air con was next to useless and the air cooler very slow and simply blew hot air around. Room right next to the busy high street and needed windows open due to the above. I’d definitely stay here again but not during the hot summer weather and was disappointed with the lack of non working ac options.
