Really good location directly at the most busy tourist street, near restaurants, shops and beach! The hotel is clean, but needs some reparations such as the water pipes that are really messy, and the elevator that stopped working. The wifi was also not working for me from the room, and the safety box stopped working. The room was nice and clean, but there was noice from the streets every nights, so be prepared with ear plugs.

Everything was great. The only inconvenience was no hotel reserved parking area!

La pool terrace es magnífica para relajarse un rato, tanto en el día como por la noche. Su opción topless es un plus, ya que en la Riviera Maya se está perdiendo esta estupenda práctica. Mi pareja la aprovechó.

El elevador se descompuso un día, no hacen el aseo a menos que dejes especificaciones en la puerta, no tienen restaurante ni bar.

Our stay at the hotel left us with mixed feelings. On one hand, the staff was undeniably helpful, always eager to assist. However, their approach to customer service felt a bit too relaxed. The persistent issue with room keys being blocked was particularly frustrating. I found myself having to make multiple trips to the front desk to resolve the problem, only for it to reoccur shortly after. This was not the seamless experience one would expect from a hotel aiming to provide exemplary service. Additionally, the staff didn’t seem very well-versed in the local area. When asked about transportation options or popular local activities, the responses were less informative than I had hoped, which is a common inquiry from tourists. A bit more training in this area could greatly enhance the guests' experience. While the cleanliness of the hotel was commendable, there were some flaws in the details that affected the overall ambiance. The towels, and pillows provided looked worn and stained, detracting from an otherwise tidy environment. A hotel’s attention to the little things often makes a significant difference in how guests perceive their stay. The hotel has a solid foundation and plenty of potential, but there are several areas needing improvement. With more attention to service training and upkeep of amenities, it could elevate itself from a decent stay to a truly memorable one.

No funcionaba el aire acondicionado y me tuvieron que cambiar de habitacion. En la otra que me dieron no funcionaba la television, habia ropa interior colgada en la puerta de la regadera de un hiesped anterior, pedi que la quitaran y nunca lo hicieron. El llenado de la tina no tenia presion el agua y nunca pude llenarla

El elevador tenía mucho olor a óxido. El servicio de limpieza no hace bien su trabajo y se les tuvo que pedir hasta 3 veces para que lo hicieran. El personal no comunica cuando la caldera tiene un tema y no hay agua caliente. Los controles del cuarto no servían bien. El jacussi tenía tierra cuando llegamos. El primer día la ventilación no funcionó bien y fue una noche muy calurosa. El refrigerador desprendía mucho calor y no enfriaba mucho.

En general todo bien con el hotel, me llamó la atención que en mi habitación las 2 noches que estuvo no entraron a limpiar mi habitación y eso no fue de mi agrado

This hotel is in a great location, everything you need or want is walkable. The staff were very helpful and friendly to their capabilities. I am notnsure who is managing this hotel but it does need to be taken csre of more as there is very easy things to do to make it just a bit better such as new towels as they dont have enough towels for everyone as we got told as they get thrown out because they habe lots of holes, stains in them and falling apart. Is it not is easy to get new towels? Same with the pool towels. When visiting the pool, the cushions for the loungers are disgusting and not enough loungers, or coushins missing for some seats. The breakfast needs to be better, more options, better variety since it is included and the woman that is cooking is sweet and amazing and has said she can cook a mutiple different types of dishes but having the same breakfast for almost every single days except for a 2 days...isn't good enough. The hotel needs to step up. For the hotel room, the mirrors need replacing, dont just put another mirror ontop of a nother mirror. They mirrors need replacing as they are falling apart. The toliet is separated in its own room, but a glass door is not helping anyone...it should not be glass ad no one needs to see in when someone is doingntheir business. The remote for the tv doesn't work. The blinds do not go up or down as they lost the remote for them...why even have an electric blind system if you cant use it, it would be nice to see outside.

Nothing unique, they never delivered the bottle of wine per stay, the outdoor jacuzzi was dirty with a big dirt stain, water came in through the glass door during rainy days, makijg a poddle, the shower handles need to be replaced,nit steady and the water sink splashes water all over, they charged me $14 dollars for a hair dye stain in a white towell that im sure when they do the laundry it would come out.. Disappointed.

We stayed at the hotel for about a week. Our room was very noisy as the bar downstairs played very loud music until 2 o’clock every night. The elevator wasn’t working during our stay. The bar at the pool is not in open. One of the receptionist - working there often - couldn’t understand english, not at all. We didn’t ask for housekeeping every day and when we marked the room for housekeeping it didn’t happen.

La tele estaba dañada, todas las noches las tuberías de la regadera y del baño hacen ruido... la cama no tiene edredón o algo modesto para taparse, en general el desayuno es lo mismo, huevo en cualquier presentación, jugo de caja y café; siento que está algo costoso para la calidad; pagué $1000 mxn para que adornaran la habitación romántica y solo pusieron unos pétalos muy chafa y una botella sin enfriar de $100 mxn; no recomiendo pagar eso, ni se nota la diferencia; el escusado no tiene privacidad... para algunas personas puede ser incomodo. De lo bueno, la cama es cómoda, la alberca está bien y en general son amables.

I'll start with the positives: Great location close to everything, and adecuate professional staff. Air conditioner works. Fine if you're there to party and crash. We are Canadian/Mexican couple who live in Mexico, and we only stay at vip properties when we book to ensure a great stay, and this hotel was the first time we were let down by Expedia's VIP/star qualification. Honest review: The hotel was run down. It did not have a café, or any food and beverage service as advertised, and you couldn't bring in food or drink to the pool area, so we couldn't really stay and enjoy much. The mattresses were cheap, springy and hard. The pillows were low quality, uncomfortable and lumpy. The sheets had stains, and were not tucked in. There were no facecloths, or glasses in the room. We had no shampoo. The jacuzzi tap had 1 minute of hot water, so we were unable to use it There is a noisy bar directly downstairs. Very noisy until 12:30am.The AC was so strong, I requested a blanket, and I was told they didn't have any. I went and bought one because I was THAT cold. When we requested a room on a higher floor, they said they would address it, but never got back to us. I would not consider this a 4 star, much less a vip hotel & will not return.

La suite con jacuzzi es de lo más confortante. Bastante amplia, Sin ruidos externos Excelente ubicación y con la alberca del roof quedamos encantados

This hotel had very nice furnishings but they appeared unkept. The TV was damaged, the jacuzzi had some strange discoloration and the light only partially worked in the shower.

La atención es muy cálida y buena pero la habitación tenía varios detalles. Al llegar los controles de la TV fueron cambiados 3 veces porque no funcionaban, el lavabo de manos era imposible usarlo el primer día por exceso de presión en el agua, la pantalla blackout bajo el primer día y posterior a eso no volvió a subir. La amabilidad del personal por ponerle solución a los imperfectos fue buena pero uno espera que no ocurra esa clase de cosas durante la estancia.

So the best thing this place has going it is the location!! Right on 5th ave., it’s surrounded by restaurants, bars, coffee shops etc. Beach is not too far but they do have a nice rooftop pool. Rooms are in good condition, place was clean.. what I didn’t like was that I needed to speak to someone about my reservation before arriving…. I called (from USA) no answer.. had someone that lives in Playa Del Carmen call… no answer(he tried three different t numbers posted on website) even expedia agent called… still no answer… I kept calling several times, but nothing..if yiu are in the service industry please pick up the phone… it’s only courtesy to your future guests…

I booked here due to last-minute travel plans and I ended up staying an extra night. The staff was very kind and welcoming (Andrea, Caro and Paulette) as well as the housekeeping team. I did not initially get my room upgrade but honestly, I was fine in the standard King room I booked. It was very clean and comfortable. The bed was heavenly, and the amenities were great. Andrea was very apologetic and upgraded my room, which was much appreciated. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others. Location, rooftop pool/area are great as well. I did not have any noise issues, despite being right on 5th.

The room was clean, but the towels could use an upgrade as they were old, stained, and only provided two. There’s an additional fee upon arrival for street cleaning. If you need a shuttle, that’s also an extra charge and not complimentary. The front desk staff was very nice and communicated promptly via WhatsApp, ensuring you had what you needed as soon as possible. They don't provided you with a cover just a sheet for the bed.

This hotel was good in general . The location is great, the price was good and it felt very safe. The hotel needs a little bit of a refresh. The vibe was dead. My main concern was the water pressure (or lack thereof). The toiletries were really bad too. The elevator was broken for a day and Monday morning was very noisy with constructions around . Service was ok, straight to the point, front desk people and mostly the overnight guy were very kind. But it sounds very bad when you arrive to a hotel and the first things you heard is we are going to have extra charge if towels are stained and key ( electronic by the way ) are lost. It is not a very welcoming. Overall , it is a good hotel, just need some improvements.

The staff here was great. Many reviews complained about the noise from the bar downstairs but we didn’t have any issue. There are certain things to expect when staying on fifth avenue and noise comes with that. The property was great and location was perfect.

Excellent location. The hotel is beautifully remodeled. Just a bit of noice, being ear plugs. And please leave a notice outside your room so they clean it. Amazing staff. Playa Mamitas is the best, just 5min elaking distance.

Excellent hotel, amazing staff. If you’re here to party this is an excellent place to stay, located right on Quinta Avenida close to restaurants bars, walking distance to the beach.

Right in the heart of 5th ave so everything was super convenient. Being right on 5th ave it was noisy but was to be expected. Front desk staff and cleaning staff were excellent. Would definitely stay here again. There were some concerns with the room upon check in but it was addressed right away and no problems after that.

Aire acondicionado no enfría, nos cambiaron de habitación 2 veces y ninguna enfrió. El agua se tardaba en calentar demasiado tiempo y salia agua por la pluma de arriba y manga de mano a la vez, area de Jacuzzi se vaciaba jamas lo pudimos usar, toallas rotas y sabanas machadas, solo tenia un espejo que era pequeño y ademas estaba verde por los bordes.Desayuno comienza a las 8:00 am pienso que debe ser un poco mas temprano ya que uno de los dias teniamos actividad que nos recogían a las 8:00 am y apenas pudimos desayunar bien rapido por que el desayuno no estaba abierto y la señal del WiFi era intermitente.

O hotel é muito bom, quarto confortável, novo e muito bonito, cama maravilhosa, fica na central de Playa, café da manhã muito bom com atendente muito simpático. Porém barulhento, para quem tem dificuldade de dormi no barulho, wi-fi não pega no quarto do terceiro andar. O elevador ficou sem funcionar 3 dias, então quem tiver dificuldade para subir escada é ruim. Para nós foi tranquilo. No geral eu voltaria a me hospedar.

The only thing good was the staff. Its a shame expedia sell a hotel in a bad situation. Room floor its cracking. No hot water at all. Inly cold water for a few minutes per day. Toilets no water to flush. We had to take shower in another room because was the only room with hot water. ( eletrical shower ) USED FOR ALL THE HOTEL GUESTS). I asked for change room but staff says they have the same problem inall rooms. By the night we cant sleep because the water bump was make to many noisy. Giving us a hope that by the morning we gona have water but was frustrating when we open the faucets and nothing more then a few water drippings. The breakfast was in a litter restaurant near. Food was good but no enough. If we need eat more we have to by extra for. Extremely disappointed and for sure we going to use another web site for searching and booking our next vacations.

Hotel bem localizado, mas como é bem na Quinta Avenida e tem um bar em baixo é bem barulhento. Nao vale a pena pegar com café da manhã incluído, café muito simples e em um lugar pequeno, então fica muito tempo esperando.
