Got given a free upgrade to a bigger room. Had a kitchen with washing machine. Nice surprise, ideal if on a longer trip. Ideally located for the reason of my trip. Tube 10 minute walk away. NIce and secure hotel.

Close to underground. The room was clean and spacious. Out of my expectations , there is a kitchen and a washing machine is provided. Everything in the kitchen were tidy and clean. But the walls are too thin, so the talking of our neighbour rooms in the midnight became a nuisance to us. There is no hooks in the toilet for hanging towels/ clothes .

The room was very clean & towels freshly laundered. Beds were surprisingly comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped with both a microwave a hot plates with grill and a washing machine. Overall we has a very comfortable 3 day stay, other than the bin men at 3 am it was very quite.

The room was very spacious and clean with a comfortable bed and very nice and cold fridge. My only complaint would be the windows aren’t sound proof and so there is a fair bit of news you get from the above ground rail and roads. The hotel could improve this with some soundproofing curtains. However would definitely stay here again, very welcoming and helpful reception and get very safe. Free parking from 6.30PM until 7am too!

I sent two emails before my arrival and—guess what—no reply. When I checked in, the night staff knew absolutely nothing, and the receptionist was so incompetent it was almost impressive. Then came the room. The TV didn’t work, no housekeeping, paint stains all over the bathroom, an eyelash glued to the door (lovely), a dirty shower, and even the safety instructions were stuck on upside down—which is ironic, because the whole stay felt upside down anyway. And just when I thought it couldn’t get worse… surprise! The next morning the “manager” asked how my stay was—as if he had zero idea what had happened. Clearly, no one had briefed him. His reply was a masterpiece of nonsense, mixing everything together instead of simply apologizing for the total lack of professionalism from him and his team. In short: If you want a truly horrible stay, this is the place for you!

Very clean and comfortable stay. I was a solo traveller but got upgraded to a triple room which was lovely. Towels and bedding very white and clean. The room had everything you could need, hairdryer, air con, heating, ironing board, kitchenette with microwave and fridge.. couldn't be more convenient to Hoxton station. Lots of great Vietnamese restaurants around the hotel. I will be back.

There was mold all over the bathroom ceiling. No hot water the first day we were there. Carpet was dirty and would turn our feet black if we walked barefoot. Extremely noisy at night with sirens and people yelling. Police were called to the premises for a disturbance one of the nights. We didn’t feel safe walking back in the evening as there were many unhoused people and others lining the sidewalks. Would not stay here again.

This property needs a revamp. Wallpaper peeling, furniture scuffed. Though my biggest problem was how noisy it was. I was woken up every two hours to loud door slams. I couldn’t tell you where the slams were coming from but it sounded like directly outside my door. This happened all hours of the day. The rooms are extremely small. Barely fit two if traveling with decent sized luggage.

I enjoyed my stay at this property for almost a week. The close proximity to the train and variety of quick to eat food options helped keep my trip on budget. I enjoyed Vietnamese staples at 3 restaurants as well as the convenience of having a grocery store next door. I worked from the room for 2 days and found the internet to be reliable. The room was clean and comfortable and someone was always at the front desk. It took a bit to figure out how the in-room heating worked which would have been helpful to have a card explaining it in the room. Other than that I will definitely stay here again as it was only 30 minutes by train to see plays and museums and an extremely reasonable price for a safe clean place to stay.

Good location, great service, and nice communal areas but the room was grim, no other word for it. Felt more like a cell. No lighting bar ultra bright "big lights"...surely a lamp isnt too much to ask? And lack of cupboard/ wardrobe meant everything from ironing board to mini fridge cluttered the little space tbere was.

Room was comfortable and for the price being in London with close walk to Hoxton overground train which connects you to a few interchanges to get into central London makes it well placed. It's no frills, the walls are thin but not enough to keep you up at night but also thin enough to guess what your neighbours are up to... There's no blackout curtains so be aware in the summer it may be problematic. The AC works for both heating and cooling. The little bathroom was clean and the shower was fine with decent pressure and very hot water should you want it. It's a cheap hotel but clean, does what needs for the price can't really fuss about it. The receptionist was very pleasant too.

Average stay. Nothing special about the room and it definitely needs updating. The bed wasn’t super comfy. It was clean-ish, not spotless but well enough. Was in a great location so for the price, I think it was good value compared to other places in the area. Basic but functional

If you want something cheap and clean then this is perfect. It is bare basic and very small and I didn't quite realize that when I booked it. It's a 10 minute walk to Liverpool street so pretty central, I felt fine in the area and safe even at midnight. I was not worried at all. Staff were super lovely and helpful.

Friendly and helpful reception chap. Room better than expected although traffic noise was a little bothersome. Otherwise, for the money, a good stay for close proximity to City of London.

I enjoyed my stay at this property for almost a week. The close proximity to the train and variety of quick to eat food options helped keep my trip on budget. I enjoyed Vietnamese staples at 3 restaurants as well as the convenience of having a grocery store next door. I worked from the room for 2 days and found the internet to be reliable. The room was clean and comfortable and someone was always at the front desk. It took a bit to figure out how the in-room heating worked which would have been helpful to have a card explaining it in the room. Other than that I will definitely stay here again as it was only 30 minutes by train to see plays and museums and an extremely reasonable price for a safe clean place to stay.

Very clean and comfortable stay. I was a solo traveller but got upgraded to a triple room which was lovely. Towels and bedding very white and clean. The room had everything you could need, hairdryer, air con, heating, ironing board, kitchenette with microwave and fridge.. couldn't be more convenient to Hoxton station. Lots of great Vietnamese restaurants around the hotel. I will be back.

There was mold all over the bathroom ceiling. No hot water the first day we were there. Carpet was dirty and would turn our feet black if we walked barefoot. Extremely noisy at night with sirens and people yelling. Police were called to the premises for a disturbance one of the nights. We didn’t feel safe walking back in the evening as there were many unhoused people and others lining the sidewalks. Would not stay here again.

Room was comfortable and for the price being in London with close walk to Hoxton overground train which connects you to a few interchanges to get into central London makes it well placed. It's no frills, the walls are thin but not enough to keep you up at night but also thin enough to guess what your neighbours are up to... There's no blackout curtains so be aware in the summer it may be problematic. The AC works for both heating and cooling. The little bathroom was clean and the shower was fine with decent pressure and very hot water should you want it. It's a cheap hotel but clean, does what needs for the price can't really fuss about it. The receptionist was very pleasant too.

Great location. Easy to Uber or train anywhere u want. Some Great pubs under the train south and north of hotel. Rooms are big and have a washing machine so that’s a bonus if traveling light. Small market beside hotel to grab essentials.

Pound for pound this is a brilliant hotel. For £110 per night it's worth every penny. But don't get me wrong it not particularly clean, the beds a bit lumpy and cheap, the carpets should be replaced and the bathroom is small and bit tired. But for just over a tonne per night, you get ensuite, double bed for 2 in a great location and the staff are really friendly and make you feel safe and secure. Unless you can afford £250 per night go for this place, its great value.
