Reykjavik Treasure is in a great central location to see the downtown area. It is two blocks away from the harbor. There is a parking garage within a half a block. The rooms are very comfortable, but taller travelers should opt for rooms on the first floor as the rooms on the second floor may have sloped ceilings. Breakfast was good with the typical European specialties.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The building dates back to the 1800s, so it has a lot of history and character, but the inside was very comfortable. The owners were very kind and friendly. Every morning, they served us a lovely breakfast with freshly baked bread, and the menu changed slightly from day to day. The focaccia we had for breakfast was especially delicious. The location is not right in the centre of Reykjavík, but the main shopping and restaurant area is within easy walking distance, and you can also walk to Hallgrímskirkja without any problem. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and really appreciated the warm hospitality.
