Please be aware there are steps only to get downstairs. I even called and asked about this. We had to go downstairs and it was challenging for me. The girl that checked us in was very unfriendly and not interested in answering questions. The room was fine. We hoped for a view but we were on the lowest level and couldn’t see much. And a tree was blocking our view. There was a little grassy area that had dog poop in it. Very irritating. Clean up after your pets. As far as staying again. Yes I would stay here again but request a street level room for easier access and a view.

Property is beautiful and clean. However, it would be nice if they let you know that there is no elevator on the property. Our room was downstairs and we had to lug three 50 lb. suitcases downstairs and then back up.

Super nice front desk staff. Room was very clean and welcoming. The view is very nice from the rooms - we had a 1st floor room and were able to sit out on chairs with a table overlooking the river.

Nice place, great entrance to the park with little traffic. The lodge needs more parking, and it is sort of cramped but we never had a major issue. The first night, we finally found a spot, it was so full. The a/c in our room was not working good, and apparently others complained because they replaced it the next day. The lodge does not have laundry, and only offers maid service when requested but it was nice and good views.

Nice balcony and view of river. One chair needed to be cleaned. Two tour buses parked across 10-12 parking spaces and we had to park further away. We were awake but loud backup brake warning at 7 am.

We booked two rooms. Both rooms have insects inside of the rooms and many brownish stains in the ceilings of bathrooms and bedrooms. One lightbulb didn't work in one of the bathrooms and the bathtub in that room seriously blocked from the beginning of the use. The other room's smoke detector started chirping around 3am!!! This property needs a thorough maintenance for the money it charged.

Room was clean, view was great, staff was friendly. Room did smell very strongly of perfume or possibly floral deodorizer. It was overwhelming and we had to air out the room quite a bit before it was manageable. Wish they had refillable soaps etc, rather than little mini bottles that end up in the trash. Quiet and comfortable and good location, though.

The view is great but I'd never stay there again. Our room had gnats all over, a spider on the bathroom wall. The towels were so thin you still felt wet after drying off. Rust and like mold in different areas. I know it's an older property and it was a last minute booking but not a place I'd return to or recommend.

Beautiful location, right outside Yellowstone. Beautiful and peaceful vìew. Beds were not the most comfortable, but doable. Cleanlineas could have been much better. Found old cereal on the floor as well as a bit of dirt in bathroom floor areas. Some better sweeping and vacuuming would have solved this easily. Overall, would stay here again, just need a bit more attention to cleanliness.

Great location on river, easy walk to restaurants. AC could not keep up with heat in room on hot days. WiFi weak and drops frequently. Plenty of towels provided daily. Good kitchenette. Friendly, helpful desk staff. Live band outside at nearby restaurant too loud on weekday night until 10p.

Superb service from property manager Chris who was more than attentive to our during our three night stay. Had only intended to stay nights but felt so comfortable, we added the third night.. Location was great. Only real downfall, was that the internet was so unreliable. Breakfast not offered but we walked across the street to the convenience store deli and that was fine. Loved the deck overlooking the river and accessibility to the park. We would definitely return. Thank you Chris!

They have clearly worked to keep the property updated given it’s likely age. The layout was dated but flooring, paint and some of the bath fixtures were newer. It was clean and comfortable. The view was awesome with the river right next to the property. The location is ideal for easy access to north Yellowstone. The staff was very friendly and fun. I’d return.

Great property overlooking the river and bridge. Room was very clean, and except when the kids upstairs were moving furniture at 11:00 PM, the room was well insulated from external noise. There were plenty of dining options nearby and my partner and I enjoyed our stay.

Nice hotel, great location. However, the walls are thin, there is too much audible noise from adjacent rooms. We had someone in a room above us that must have been a sleepwalker. They were walking back and forth at 5am. The noise was enough to wake us up. other than that, a great hotel.

The property should improve its employee training to enhance service quality. There was no staff at the check-in counter when we arrived. In the end, we waited for half an hour before receiving our room key. Additionally, the staff member appeared to be intoxicated when he finally showed up.

Excellent stay! Staff were super kind, helpful and the place was very clean. Staff were accommodating and brought us a roll away bed to ensure our 3 kiddos were as comfy as possible even though I told them they'd be okay. The staff were some of the best over our 10 day staff throughout Yellowstone and Colorado. Great service! 10/10 recommend. Where we will stay our whole future visits when we return.

Chris is who made this a top-tier stay! It was only a one-night stay but Chris’s restaurant and Yellowstone day-trip recommendations were fantastic! Also, the view from the balcony was the icing on the cake.

Some staff were very efficient such as the manager for check out on Wednesday morning. Other staff were not efficient and said we would have a rollout bed but had not communicated this which I found out when I called to confirm a week or so before arriving, I reminded the staff member when I called to confirm and was again told that the roll out couch would be there but when we arrived after hours, it was not there forcing two very large members of our party to try to sleep in one bed. More inefficiency.

Excellent checkin experience. Stopped by early in the morning on our way to YNP and to our surprise, our room keys were given to us even tho our room wasn’t ready yet which meant upon our return from visiting YNP, we didn’t have to go to the front office to get them and were able to go directly to our room. We appreciated that. Very nice and clean..our room had a balcony with two chairs and overlooked the river. What a gorgeous view! We even saw a group of elk on the hillside at dusk right across the river. Lodge is conveniently located right by the entrance to YNP. If you want a quick take-out meal, Gardiner’s Mkt is right up the road and has delicious hot meals (baked chicken or bbq ribs) for $10.49. Store closes at 8 pm. We enjoyed our one-night stay and would definitely stay here again when back in the area. The manager was very personable and knowledgeable and gave us some great tips about visiting YNP.

This was the most expensive stay on our recent road trip but you are paying for the closeness to Yellowstone. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but a little tired and could do with a refresh. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance.

This is a very cute hotel located in the heart of Gardiner. The location was perfect in the view of the river was so peaceful. We walked along the strip and had ice cream, stopped to listen to and awesome musician, ate some great food, and it’s the perfect location to enter in the north part of Yellowstone. And the wildlife feels very comfortable to walk down the middle of the streets.

Major plus point is the lovely view across the Yellowstone river. The room was very good, with a comfy bed and a good shower. Also very quiet at night. The negative is the lack of breakfast or evening meal offerings. There aren't a lot of other ining options in Gardiner - which highlighted the problem.

Excellent hotel! Loved the Elk roaming on the property. Sat on the patio in the mornings and they were always visiting! Close to park entrance, lots of food choices and shopping. Gas station next door made it very convenient to fill up before entering the park.
