We really enjoyed our stay. The grounds and building were so well kept and clean, our room was very comfortable, and the front desk staff was really welcoming. The pool and lawn were perfect for our child to burn off steam. The amenities, specifically the laundry and coffee station, were really appreciated.

I booked a double bedroom, but when we arrived we were helped to switch to a two double beds room, which was much more convenient for us. We liked the room and lobby decor, the bedspread was a nice light color quilt, and the sheets were nice too. It was a perfect location for us as we were exploring the north on the park. Swimming in the pool was also relaxing after a day of sightseeing and driving.

The main thing to be aware of is there is no elevator. I am in reasonable shape but have an ankle issue, so carrying luggage up stairs was a bit challenging. Otherwise the property is nice and good location.

The rooms were very clean. They have a fridge in the room but no microwave. They have a community microwave down the hall. Very nicely decorated in rustic log cabin style. Bed was very comfortable.

Great location in Gardiner for visiting Yellowstone. Free coffee/tea/hot chocolate all day was nice and helpful. I advise to insist on room cleaning when needed. The pool was kept at a good temperature for kids and adults and was enjoyable.

Nice hotel on the way into town. The room was average but the staff was exceptional and the room and hotel was very clean. Easy parking in the lot. Liked the location as it was quiet. We had to drive into eateries but that was not a problem. Would stay here again.

It's a quaint, older property but clean and well maintained. It less than a mile of the north entrance of Yellowstone. It is family owned and friendly. I enjoyed watching the elk in the front of the property in the evening. The sunrise on the mountains was majestic with my morning coffee. It was very peaceful and serene. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. I would definitely recommend this place.

Greeted with lemon water was a nice refreshing thing after a full day at YNP. The bed was very comfortable and we were quite impressed with the quality of linens. Seeing the lovely woodwork, comfy leather furniture and welcoming fireplace were definitely bonuses to the atmosphere. Our room was not kept up well with a clock that did not work, tv remote that did not operate the tv successfully, toilet seat that was excessively loose and a bathtub that would not seal for a soak. It all seemed a bit much to take at the high price of $350/night. Being a bit dated would not be an issue if everything was functioning or the staff was able to fix them easily.

We had a wonderful stay here! The room was incredibly comfortable/clean and the front desk is so friendly. There is great food just a few minutes away and of course the park is just outside the hotel! We will absolutely be staying here next time we visit Gardiner!

What more could a person want?! In addition to hitting all the goals a person expects from an overnight stay, this property offers quaint, rustic rooms and a million dollar view of Yellowstone National Park from its front door and front-facing rooms. Also, very affordable and within walking distance of all Gardiner has to offer.

The people who worked there were really nice, the place was easy to find, however the rooms were pretty old which meant you could hear everything, the air conditioning didn’t work well and the rooms didn’t have good lighting

It was not worth the price. We paid over $300 and had made the reservation a couple weeks ahead of time. We were tired from traveling, but given room 101. The insulation between floors was not adequate. When the people above us came in after we were asleep, about 11pm, it was VERY loud and we could not sleep. When they ran water for showers (I presume) it was incredibly loud. I would not stay here again, and I mentioned it to the desk clerk in the morning. It was not worth the price.

My wife was very upset there was no tv and no wifi and the hotels.com ad made no mention of this. After a long day we just wanted to relax and watch Netflix and couldn’t. Also as a Dr I need to stay in contact with my practice and couldn’t.

Unbelievably, when we checked in we were told that there is no elevator and we would have to carry our luggage up the stairs. I checked the website to see how I possibly could have missed this and found that the fact that there are NO ELEVATORS is disclosed under the amenities list. Number 13 on the list of “amenities “ in no elevator. Seems odd to bury this important info. Beware. Also, on our stay I informed the young lady at the front desk that our room had not been cleaned and no fresh towels replaced after our first night and requested this be done. It was not done. Upon returning we had to go downstairs and request new towels. There was not even a way of calling from our room Additionally, we found the antiquated real key locking only a dead bolt to be sketchy. No way from the interior to lock anyone in the hall with a key from entering.

We were very late arriving. They left us an envelope with our room key in it. Upon stopping by the front desk the next morning they were very kind and understanding. They gave us several recommendations based on the plans we made. Our room was very cozy and comfortable.

This was the third inn we stayed at in the Yellowstone area and was the least friendly of all. The first floor rooms are partly underground and a bit dark and damp. Old dark carpet does nothing to improve the mood. We asked for a higher level room but was told they are full (they were) in an unsympathetic tone. I asked if there was breakfast and was told not. The curt attendant did not tell us that there were limited complementary hot and cold drinks which we discovered on checkout. Thanks! The people in the area were lovely and very friendly so I am certain some kinder staff can be found at another establishment.

Just outside of the park, this is a great location. The room was comfortable and clean. The one thing that needs attention would be the large RV vehiclews just on the side of the road outside the driveway. These vision obstacles could cause an accident, as line of vision is impared when turning left (into town) on a busy day.

Overall a good place though prices are very high in season 😞. Very near to Yellow stone entrance and in good area which has most of daily facilities. Hotel do not have own dining facilities, though they provide tea, coffee and juices in common area without additional cost.

Booked this place on our way to YS Natl Park. Super clean and very accessible location to the park. Loved having coffee brewed and ready all day. The staff was really kind and helpful. The check in and out was simple. Unfortunately, no place to eat on site and the sure area had limite to options but we made it work. I’d stay for shre again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Yellowstone Village Inn in Gardner, Montana! The experience was wonderful from start to finish. If I could suggest one improvement, it would be to add a continental breakfast and an elevator for added convenience. Aside from that, everything was perfect! We also loved the restaurant recommendations provided—they were all absolutely delicious!

It was a nice stay, room is clean, beds are comfortable. I wish there was coffee maker in our room, but its okay they have coffee downstairs all the time and microwave. The place is close to Mammoth Hot Springs! And the Roosevelt Arch Monument!
