Found the staff to be friendly and attentive , The room to be comfortable and clean.Shower pressure and temperature was constant. The included English breakfast filling. The Local Bus service is a 5 minute walk and will take you to High Barnet Tube Station. The only thing missing was an elevator (Lift) which may be a concern if you’re not able to climb the stairs.

It was a pleasant two days. The room was fairly small but clean and warm, bed comfortable, tea and coffee tray, smart TV, no lift. We were greeted well and shown to our room. Breakfast was good with a good choice of menu and was served by pleasant staff. Parking on site is limited to 3 vehicles but there is plenty of parking on the street close to the hotel. Didn’t use the bar or restaurant so can’t comment on that. Shower/ toilet on suit ok but like the whole hotel could do with an upgrade. Toiletries provided but towels had seen better days. Would come back again.

Really comfortable room in a quiet location. Bathroom quite small but plenty of hot water, fluffy towels & nice toiletries. Not sure the air con worked in room 1 but wasn’t needed anyway. Amazing English breakfast - should have asked for a child’s portion! Really friendly staff. Nice to have off-road parking too. Will definitely stay again & perhaps try a treatment too.

Very friendly & welcoming staff. Made me feel very at ease for all of my stay. Room was a great size. Good amenities. Bed was comfy. Great choice of food & drink. Would definitely stay there again. Only slight downside is very limited carparking on site, but plenty of space in side roads.

Lovely hotel. Had to park on street but out front of hotel so no issue. In a lovely residential area but quite a walk from the station. Tap in bathroom took some getting used to - only seemed to do very fast or a dribble! Heated towel rail and lovely power shower. Didn't use TV but was big. Free WiFi but also did not use. Easy to get in an out after hours. Double bed seemed a little mean for the generous sized room. Huge cupboard and lovely extras in the room. No lift but staff did ask if they could carry bags. Very friendly service overall with a fab breakfast and excellent coffee.

Stayed here for one night for a visit to Central London for a show. My goodness - what a superb place - we were truly amazed at how nice it was. It is just a small private hotel but has a bar & restaurant, It is beautifully decorated and very well kept. The room was spacious and immaculate and the en-suite exceptionally good too. The bed was large & comfortable, with tea & coffee facilities and a large TV. The breakfast choice in the morning was excellent. We opted for the full English and, by golly, it more than lived up to that name ! The staff were very friendly & helpful. They advertise on site parking but if it's full there's plenty of on-street parking available close by. It is close to High Barnet tube station - direct access to London via the Northern lIne. All in all a fantastic place to stay at an unbelievably low rate that incudes breakfast. They'll be no other place to stay for us on future similar trips. Thanks very much.

Nice friendly small business style hotel in a quiet area of Barnett with both small off street parking area and on street parking with no restrictions. The downstairs area is a bijou bar area and all the rooms for accommodation are situated upstairs but there is no undue noise experienced from the bar area. The premises are tastefully decorated throughout and all rooms are modern with card entry, wifi facilities, large flat screen wall mounted TV's, safes, iron and ironing board and hairdryer. The ensuite area is modern with walk in shower and quality fittings. We used it as a base to visit a nearby event and ate on the nearby Barnet High Street. It is handy for the M25 or to get the tube down to central London areas. We would stop at this hotel again , good value for money and an excellent cooked breakfast included.

When we arrived, the room stank of cigarette smoke, and the surfaces were filthy. It was too late to speak to anyone, but I emailed immediately. I replied with the photos, but despite two emails after that, I haven’t heard a word back. Definitely not worth £100 of our hard-earned money. The one thing that was lovely was the service at breakfast; friendly and warm.

The two staff who helped me change room were amazing and thank you. Unfortunately this hotel is not what it looks like or says. Rooms are horrible - mold in the bathroom / sink broken / dirty room / rooms are. Shoe box it’s an utter joke of a hotel. Don’t bother. Other than how helpful the girls are reception were, this hotel was one big catfish. I wanted a refund but at at that moment all I could think about was getting out of there. What a great Tuesday

We have stayed here a few times. The best room, just about met the basic standards, after it had been renovated. All the rest are disappointing. The latest room, at the top of the hotel, falls very short of any standard. The shower has black mould. The pillows had multiple staines from dribble and sweat on them (disgusting) and on the first night had no pillow cases, had to ask for some. The tv kept going off due to poor signal. The bed was not great, but I have had worse. The duvet was also dirty and lumpy. There were no shelves or surfaces to put anything down and the room was tiny. Downstairs in the bar/breakfast room, the floor was filthy, the bar was dusty, the brass foot bar looked like it had not been cleaned for ages and the tables were sticky from the night before. The floor was cleaned on the fourth day. The manager/possible owner, sat at the end of the bar during breakfast and did nothing but play on his phone. The breakfast was good and the staff were helpful and friendly. Karen’s diner is noisy until late, so much so that I could not make myself heard when at reception, to complain for the umpteenth time. We will not be revisiting, no matter how cheap!

Room was spacious however unclean, blood & stains on sheets, duvet & mattress protector, chewing gum stuck to bedside table, bathroom hadn’t been cleaned. I telephoned down to chap who had checked me in, he did not come to look or speak, young girl who did was very polite, apologetic & explained no cleaning staff on site, she had been sent up changed all the bedding & advised would tell manager about bed and also about bathroom & bedside table. I did not hear from a manager that night & did check out before breakfast due to travel to work appointment. No follow up contact or formal acknowledgment/apology was received from any manager.

Really happy with this little find. Clean functional room, great breakfast and the loveliest staff! Nothing was too much trouble. Special nod to Alannah and her colleague who were very personable, professional and obviously enjoy their jobs! We’ll be back.

There was hair in the shower, and paint was falling off the walls in the bathroom. The door/wall was not well isolated, so you woke up every time a person walked outside, which was very annoying. But the included breakfast was brilliant, and the price is reasonable for being in London, so I'm still giving it four stars.

The room was updated and clean. The shower was hot with great water pressure and a handheld showerhead. Big fluffy towels. Very comfortable bed. Good closet space and shelving. The included breakfast was very good and the coffee excellent. All the staff were warm, welcoming, helpful and attentive. The bar/restaurant seems to be a fun neighborhood spot and welcoming to children and dogs. The neighbourhood is lovely and you can take a peaceful walk through a wood to Barnet High St., or walk or a short bus to High Barnet station where the Northern line takes you downtown.

This was my first stay. Friendly and helpful reception experience. Lovely spacious room with all facilities needed including ample wardrobe space with hangers and iron/ironing board. Good views from top floor and fantastic aircon which was very much needed as it was a London heatwave. All employees were exceptional. Breakfast was plentiful and good. Very friendly welcome from employees and locals in the bar during the evenings. Would highly recommend.

Great staff, nice room, breakfast more flexible than they initially say, so don't be put off by initial "rules". Only downside was very silly lighting in rear 3 rooms. An absolutely pointless sensor light in bathroom that turns on all the time. Then turns off all the time when in shower. Fan that keeps going for 20 mins with light. So middle of night, when one person has a piddle, this blazing searchlight comes on for 5 minutes... And noisy fan for 20 minutes and won't go off. Really stupid and annoying. A normal on/off is easy and better. Tech gone crazy. I had to tape it up with electrical tape to stop it during night. Staff kept removing tape.

Great early arrival time, staff excellent and very helpful, room clean, beds comfortable had a good nights sleep. Breakfast was of good quality and well presented again the staff was very organised and he helpful with the menu. Only thing I would recommend is better shower tap (one with thermostat). Would highly recommend and we would definitely stay there again.

The room was a good size for 2 adults and 2 children. The beds were comfortable The shower was great. I found the tv was not situated in a good place in the room. It was nice to have a kettle and sachets of tea and coffee etc. Breakfast was good. We all had the full cooked breakfast. One thing that was strange was that you only got half a mushroom with it. Where’s the other half gone?! The staff were really hospital and accommodating.

The staff here are super friendly and genuinely helpful. Whatever the situation, they always try their best to sort things out for you. It really makes you feel welcome and well looked after. Highly recommended!

Did not eat there so cannot comment on food/bar. Room was spacious however unclean, blood & stains on sheets, duvet & mattress protector, chewing gum stuck to bedside table, bathroom hadn’t been cleaned. I telephoned down to chap who had checked me in, he did not come to look or speak, young girl who did was very polite, apologetic & explained no cleaning staff on site, she had been sent up changed all the bedding & advised would tell manager about bed and also about bathroom & bedside table. I did not hear from a manager that night & did check out before breakfast due to travel to work appointment. No follow up contact or formal acknowledgment/apology was received from any manager.

We found the staff were really nice and,friendly nothing was to much trouble for any of the girls maria was lovely every day we had breakfast she new what drinks we wanted also the blonde girl who was on the bar at night was great so was the other two girls but, we didn't know there names which was a shame because i could but, there names here food was good at night too so was breakfast the room were really clean we would go back there anytime if we were around ther part of the country

Really happy with this little find. Clean functional room, great breakfast and the loveliest staff! Nothing was too much trouble. Special nod to Alannah and her colleague who were very personable, professional and obviously enjoy their jobs! We’ll be back.

Found the staff to be friendly and attentive , The room to be comfortable and clean.Shower pressure and temperature was constant. The included English breakfast filling. The Local Bus service is a 5 minute walk and will take you to High Barnet Tube Station. The only thing missing was an elevator (Lift) which may be a concern if you’re not able to climb the stairs.

We stayed here for Slam Dunk festival and it is in a great location for that but also easy to get into central London with High Barnet station not too far away. The lady who greeted us and also ran the dining area was very friendly and made us feel at home straight away. They accommodated our dietary requirements for breakfast and the food was really tasty. The bed was comfortable and the room was a great size. We will stay here again no doubt.

Lovely hotel. Had to park on street but out front of hotel so no issue. In a lovely residential area but quite a walk from the station. Tap in bathroom took some getting used to - only seemed to do very fast or a dribble! Heated towel rail and lovely power shower. Didn't use TV but was big. Free WiFi but also did not use. Easy to get in an out after hours. Double bed seemed a little mean for the generous sized room. Huge cupboard and lovely extras in the room. No lift but staff did ask if they could carry bags. Very friendly service overall with a fab breakfast and excellent coffee.

Stayed here for one night for a visit to Central London for a show. My goodness - what a superb place - we were truly amazed at how nice it was. It is just a small private hotel but has a bar & restaurant, It is beautifully decorated and very well kept. The room was spacious and immaculate and the en-suite exceptionally good too. The bed was large & comfortable, with tea & coffee facilities and a large TV. The breakfast choice in the morning was excellent. We opted for the full English and, by golly, it more than lived up to that name ! The staff were very friendly & helpful. They advertise on site parking but if it's full there's plenty of on-street parking available close by. It is close to High Barnet tube station - direct access to London via the Northern lIne. All in all a fantastic place to stay at an unbelievably low rate that incudes breakfast. They'll be no other place to stay for us on future similar trips. Thanks very much.

Nice friendly small business style hotel in a quiet area of Barnett with both small off street parking area and on street parking with no restrictions. The downstairs area is a bijou bar area and all the rooms for accommodation are situated upstairs but there is no undue noise experienced from the bar area. The premises are tastefully decorated throughout and all rooms are modern with card entry, wifi facilities, large flat screen wall mounted TV's, safes, iron and ironing board and hairdryer. The ensuite area is modern with walk in shower and quality fittings. We used it as a base to visit a nearby event and ate on the nearby Barnet High Street. It is handy for the M25 or to get the tube down to central London areas. We would stop at this hotel again , good value for money and an excellent cooked breakfast included.

Great early arrival time, staff excellent and very helpful, room clean, beds comfortable had a good nights sleep. Breakfast was of good quality and well presented again the staff was very organised and he helpful with the menu. Only thing I would recommend is better shower tap (one with thermostat). Would highly recommend and we would definitely stay there again.

One night business stay. Room was nice and had air conditioning. Missing the remote for the TV but not the end of the world. It is located within the ULEZ so factor the additional cost into your stay (I didn’t). Menu for evening food is very limited but the quality was good. Breakfast was a little slow but again the quality was good. I would stay there again.

I felt when sport was playing in the bar the restaurant should of been open to guests so they could have a quiet dinner. The menu was limited with burgers and salad. The staff where lovely and welcoming and the hotel was okay for the price.

This is our second time staying at this hotel! The bed is extremely comfortable, and the breakfast is absolutely delicious, especially the pancakes! All the staff are very friendly, particularly Maria. When we stayed here last time, most guests were 11+ exam students and parents rushing through breakfast to leave early. Despite the chaos, Maria remained calm, patient, and kind the whole time. We were truly touched by her warmth and care!

Had a room in basement and could not sleep, bed and pillows did not suit me. Automated lights not good idea as go off whilst in shower and way too bright,got up in middle of the night and felt how a rabbit feels at night when it see the headlights. But hotel is great, staff excellent was my 2nd stay there and would use again but not have a room in the basement.
