This vintage motel has been beautifully restored and furnished with pieces that fit the mid-century look. Exceptionally clean, comfortable beds, coffee, microwave and fridge…we had everything we needed. The pool is lovely and comfortable to walk into-the temperature was perfect. The rail to go down the steps was a little wobbly but held my weight when I grabbed it. This is the third time I’ve stayed at Robinhood Inn. It’s the perfect place to stay on the way to and from Colorado!

Everything about the Robin Hood motel surpassed my expectations. The decor was 60s true without going overboard. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom and dressing areas were great (lots of space to hang your clothes—it might help to provide more hangers though). I had a spacious room with good lighting (nice swag chain hanging fixtures and an over the headboard reading light). I used the pool twice; it was clean and the water was heated. The motel is very easy to find, a few minutes from places to eat.

Best motel in Raton area! Mandy and her family runs this place extremely well and knows how to treat costumers. Property is extremely well maintained. Pool is great plus on summer. If you riding a motorcycle in the area and need a safe place to leave you trailer, this is it!

A great value for a night on a road trip. Clean and everything works great. Staff is very nice and helpful. The only downside for me is the gravel parking that is in front of the single rooms - hard to get a motorcycle in and out there. Plus the beds are on the firm side of the softness meter ;-)

We booked the Robin Hood Motel based on reviews and found the motel to be very clean and the staff very accommodating. Although we did not use the pool, we went into the area and found it to be just as clean as the rooms and rest of the property. We spent two nights. We would stay there again if we travel through that area.

We loved this motel! We had two rooms, including one of the family rooms. Unlike many older motels, Robin Hood Motel seemed incredibly well cared for. The rooms were clean with no "old motel" smell. We loved the vintage-style microwaves and fridges. The grounds were super clean and well managed with a clear attention to detail. Everyone in our party was impressed with our stay, and we highly recommend!

My family and i take vacations every year to Colorado from Austin tx and this is where we stop to rest after driving 11 hours,we booked every time in this hotel since 2020, i recomended is very clean and quiet at night the beds are comfortable.

The room was absolutely spotless. No bugs, crumbs, or stains of any kind. The pillows and sheets were good quality, not itchy. Bed was on the firm side but was not uncomfortable. The front office closes around 10pm i believe but if you have a prior reservation they have a number for you to call after hours and will meet you at the office to check you in. Very friendly and welcoming staff and service. 10 out of 10 would stay again.

Cute little retro-1950s hotel. The room was newly updated and clean with a roomy bathroom. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat. The only odd thing was the AC controls were way up high and you had to get out of bed to turn off the bed lamp, but those are barely complaints.

The motel is an older style, and doesn't appear to have been updated in quite a while. The furnishings were adequate, the bed comfortable, and the carpet clean yet dated. It was necessary to allow the hot water run for several minutes while waiting for it to get hot. The television was small and hard to see from across the room.

The owners of this hotel are amazing folks! They are so welcoming and accommodating and the property is extremely well cared for. Everyone in our group felt the same positive vibes! It was an unexpected but pleasant surprise on our return trip from Colorado to Austin, Texas. I definitely recommend this property and understand fully why they have a 9.4 out of 10 rating.

When you pull up it looks like an old roadside motel. Don't let the looks deceive you. The room was large, clean, and the bed very comfortable. The only thing better than the room itself was the friendly welcome and great service by the owner of the motel. I travel a lot so I'm always looking for a good place at a reasonable price. I'd put this hotel in the top 5 I've stayed at over the years.

Such a cute town. And this family owned and run hotel is well worth the stay it's off the beaten path and sidewalks role up at 10 so keep in mind if you get in late you will have to wait until morning to do any last min shopping

Very nice drive up to your room motel in Raton, NM. Has been here since late 1940’s but everything was exceptionally clean with some updates. Didn’t need anything more. Host was very friendly and made restaurant recommendations and which ones to avoid. Wife liked the towels, me too, and comfortable bed and pillows. Coffee in the office was welcome in the morning.

Retro motel. Had a shag carpeted chair rail on the wall and a retro fridge in the room. Fun novelties. But not modern, if that's what you prefer. Clean and quiet. Dining was limited in the area. Was disappointed at the lack of Hatch chili options, as that is one of the main highlights of visiting New Mexico. But that's not the motel's fault.

1960's era motel convenient to local groceries and convenience stores , in beautiful mountain pass. Greated in parking lot by a yearling buck who clearly felt at home in town. Shower was good. after a 13 hour drive, it was convenent, comfortable enough.

If you have a handicap do not stay here. It has a big step into the unit and if you don't watch yourself it could hurt. The rooms are big and the bed is comfortable. There are few ac outlets. no breakfast.
