I stayed at this property in 2016 with my grand daughter and we really enjoyed the rooftop pool, bar and restaurant. I was very disappointed on this trip to find out that the bar and restaurant no longer exist making the rooftop pool not much fun at all. They replaced it with an “open bar” downstairs which offers very limited and very watered down drinks. Plus the area has turned into even more of a party central than it used to be. So loud, price gouging and limited options. If you are young and looking to party this is your vibe. Me, not so much. However as usual the staff are super professional and helpful. They were awesome.

Hotel is nice and close to a lot of useful facilities. Big downside during our stay is that the pool was on renovation all week... early in the morning there were hammer/construction noise the first two days we stayed there... couldn't sleep late those 2 days.

Good, friendly, helpful staff. Great location. Gave me a wristband pass for free bar drinks this was unexpected but good. Rooftop and pool area is nice. Room is ok. Great view and comfortable bed and pillows, I slept well. Bathroom and mirror a bit average and tired, but everything worked. I was happy for the price.

Our stay here was wonderful!!! The hotel was immaculate, the bed was soooo comfortable, the shower was amazing, the drinks were made with fresh fruit, and the staff were super helpful and caring towards my 6 yr old son who suffered a head injury while we were in Cancun. My only complaint is that the 2nd elevator was out of service (though they were working on it every day!!) and the pool isn’t heated, but many of the pools in Cancun aren’t, so this wasn’t much of a surprise.

Staff were helpful and friendly. Pool area was nice. There was mold/mildew in the shower. Bedding/pillow cases had stains and there were bugs on the floor. Place needs updating. Area around the hotel was close to beaches and restaurants/grocery store. Definitely okay spot if you’re on a budget, but I’m sure there are cleaner places to stay.

The room had trash like an empty paper toilet roll between beds, floors sticky and dirty, my feet got so black , soap bars on the floors by the desk, looks like they never sweep, the shower really needs a good scrubbing, it also had hair all around.

Moldy smell, dingy, outdated and dirty. Shower needs cleaning, not enough towels provided. Very shabby place. The only redeeming quality is the open bar from the 11am-11pm and the Chedraui market proximity and bus stop proximity. Cheaper spot, but you get what you pay for. Ok if you don’t plan to spend much time in your room. Also, AC sucks, too, which is rough in such a hot and humid area.

Air conditioner did not work when we got in the room. They tried to fix it. We went to dinner and came back three hours later and it was hotter in the room than it was in the hallway. They didn’t want to move us until I asked for a refund. They said they had no more rooms and miraculously they found one. We never stay there again. And they offered no compensation and it was a big problem. Had to move all our stuff at 10 o’clock at night. We left the next day.

For the price, it’s really not terrible. Staff was nice and the open bar is a nice touch. But the rooms are pretty rough, similar to a motel kind of vibe. We only stayed overnight to catch an early AM flight.

Location, location, location. The location of this place was so convinient. Once you exit, go right and public beach access is found just crossing the light. There is an Oxxo and grocery story on the corner. We walked everywhere from here. Beds are comfy, as you would expect from a Marriot hotel.

Great and convenient location. Grocery store beside hotel and beach across the street. Bus stop outside. Excellent friendly staff, free open bar from 11 - 11 and free WiFi which we weren’t aware of and bought SIM cards but we know for next time. My teens loved it and the rooftop pool was perfect. It was much better than expected. Recommend for all families. Will return again.

The place was clean and the staff were helpful. The problem was that it advertised free bottle water but it fails to say it’s only 2 free bottles. It advertised a deli which was not open and it advertised cabanas by the pool and a swim up bar and it had neither one. Very disappointed. There was no shade in the pool area at all…and no where to get a drink. i will not go back because of those things. i feel lile its false advertising.

Reasonably priced for a four day stay. Location is close to everything. Downside is there are no resturants. They serve breakfast in the am but it was underwhelming looking and cost $14. I couldnt buy a coffee there without purchasing the breakfast. There is not a coffee maker in the room or a microwave but there is a fridge. However there are two Starbucks with in walking distance. Very nice rooftop pool area but both times i visited it, there was no one occupying the area.

Service was good, Bell boy Matheo Lopez was very helpful and always had a positive attitude. He seemed to be attentive to those who stayed in the hotel. Reception staff were also very kind and provided good service. Now the drinks… the drinks were not good. Maybe they need to switch up juice brand or something.

We loved the able to walk to different beaches, restaurants, and shops. Very convenient location. Breakfast buffet was ok, same food for 3 days. But the 12 hours of drinks was great as well!
