The room was beautiful and large! Bathroom was clean and nice ! But the heating was terrible! Didn’t work at all in this corner room on 6th floor! This jotel is conveniently located near Westfield mall but no onsite parking available! Its OK as long as the hotel employees can atleast guide the guests how to park in the nearby public or mall parkings ! You don’t have even a short term drop off location in front of the hotel !

Amazing stay. Warm and friendly welcome from reception staff. Upgraded to an incredible room, large comfortable bed with luxury bedding. Huge fluffy towels and quality toiletries. No parking on site but was able to easily park and pay for 30 minutes one street away whilst checking in. It was then a 5 minute walk back to the hotel from parking overnight at Westfield shopping centre. Both parking charges were very reasonable for London. We chose the hotel due to it’s proximity to the Shepherds Bush Empire, literally next door. The hotel exceeded our expectations and we will definitely return!!

Have stayed here a number of times. Hotel is nice. The gym is useless, not sure how they can claim they have one! Like a garage set up. They add a 5% service charge that goes to the staff. Last time I stayed I wasnt even told about it. This time the lade mentioned it but said it would be really grateful and clasped her hands praying! A hotel like this should just pay their staff properly. The carpet in my room was stained terribly. The windows at floor level and only reached my knees.. so no views. The coffee in the room is a instant sachet... bit of a joke for a hotel that is supposed to be luxury.

The "gym" is exceptionally poor. Tiny studio room in which NONE of the treadmills, bike or cross trainer functioned. The weights range only went to 10kg. Room was generally clean but there was blood, or something the same colour on the right hand curtain, waist height, in room 5111. Restaurant was fine for dinner and breakfast.

Overall, it’s a comfortable stay. However the services are slow. I requested for room slippers which was chargeable (£3) I dont know why chargeable but never sent to me despite I was okay to pay. Gym services were bad as per a 4 star standard

We had a lovely stay at the dorsett hotel for a concert happening next door. The staff were all lovely especially the housekeepers. The shower was powerful and warm, the bed was comfy and the air systems made it easy to get warm/cold. Bag drop was easy and safe kept in a locked conference room. The only problem we had was on the last day one of the elevators have broken so took a little while to get down with all our luggage, this however is not the staffs fault and happens so hasn’t effected my rating.

Although the common areas were quite nice, my room and bathroom were dirty (crusty food in the carpet around the bin, mold in the shower, blood spots on the sheets, and dust on surfaces). There were no other rooms available and it was late, so I slept a little on the cleaner of the two sheets. In the morning, after I waited for a while, the manager told me if I paid more, I could move to another room. I asked if I could see it first, and was told no. I declined the offer, and left without a place to stay, nor a refund of the two other nights I purchased. It simply wasn't worth it! I walked to the hotel next door and had a much, much better stay.

Seems the hotel lobby is the only thing this hotel looks after. Upon arrival to the room, it was immediately clear that the room had not been properly cleaned. There was visible limescale on the shower taps and fittings, and mould on the walls, These conditions raise both hygiene and maintenance concerns. I’d not stay here again.

This hotel is perfect for my work and visiting family. However, the rooms are now dates and for the money you pay I would expect more. There was mould on the net curtains, stains on the carpets, greasy finger marks on the bed side table, no tea. The rooms were just a bit dated and unloved.

There were no pillow cases on the pillows. I wanted to go to sleep but couldnt with no pillowcases. I phoned reception - very difficult to get anyone to answer. When someone finally did, they promised the pillow cases would be brought to my room within 10 minutes. Half an hour later I rang reception again to say they hadn’t arrived. Took about 15 minutes to get an answer. Again they promised to bring the pillowcases. 45 mins later, nothing had arrived. I went down to reception and only then, 1 hour and a quarter after requesting, did I finally get the pillowcases. There was no handwash for the sink. And no complimentary teabags, only coffee. The location to Westfield is a plus, nice bar and friendly staff. I was on floor 7 and it was very hot weather. Aircon was not good, they brought me a fan. Room small due to sloped ceiling with blinds that had to be shut due to heat. No stop out the front so need to walk bags up the street. Bed comfy and clean linen, shower needs a good clean in grate so smelt very mouldy. A fair stay for a discount price

Our stay at the hotel was deeply disappointing. Despite an inviting lobby, our experience was overshadowed by severe cleanliness and maintenance problems. We spent 3+ hours checking in because we had to change rooms 4 times because of mould in the air vents. We ended up viewing all the available rooms with the receptionist and 13 out of 15 rooms had significant amounts of green mould in the air vents, posing a serious health risk, especially as one of us has asthma. The staff tried to help, but the best we could do was settle for a room with less mould—yet it was still dirty, with toothpaste around the sink and brown stains on the bathroom floor that turned out to be feces residue. They ordered cleaners but they never showed the first or following day, so we had to clean the bathroom ourselves, including feces stains. The air circulation was poor, with non-opening windows and mouldy ventilation, making the room stuffy and hot even with the aircon on. Sleep was difficult and the environment made our trip exhausting rather than enjoyable. On checkout, there were further frustrations over a refund: initially promised a full refund for the first night, but we ended with 20% off the entire stay which was less than the agreed amount for day one. Receptionists Yareth and Dante did their best, but the scale of the issues was overwhelming and widespread. Ultimately, our experience at this hotel was the worst we’ve ever had, and we would strongly advise others to avoid it altogether.

The hotel is very close to the tube and very close to the shopping centre. The staff were very pleasent, however what let the hotel down was the general cleanliness of the rooms. We had two rooms of which one had mould in the bathroom, whilst the other had dirty stained carpets, and stains on the curtains. We enquired about breakfast, only to be told that it would cost you more if you order in the morning as opposed to the evening before.

No room upgrade on arrival despite being a gold Hotels.com member, room was very small and dated. I was placed next to a cleaners cupboard so chatter and a door banging every ten minutes woke me very early in the morning. The room was ridiculously hot and I couldn't make it warmer. Window was sealed so couldn't open that. Toilet seat was in need of retirement, shaver socket didn't work. WiFi was patchy and slow. I rarely leave bad reviews but this place was a big disappointment. One good thing was that it is right next to the O2 Empire and less than ten mins walk from Shepherds Bush tube station. Staff were friendly enough

All is fine with the hotel.....the staff was supportive and the room was clean and tidy with a coffee maker and fridge. My only negative was that the window in my room was frosted so that one could not look out. For me that made the room a bit cloustraphobic.

The room was like a sauna, the A/C didnt work, and windows could not open. We complained on 3 separate occasions and were completely ignored. It was very disappointing, as the hotel was really nice.

Generally a good experience. Asked for a quiet room, ended up on the 7th floor facing the main roads, so not too quiet. Also sounded like I was next to a plant room that rumbled all night. Panoramic view from thiis floor from room spoilt by very dirty exterior windows.

Bedroom was clean - although the bathroom looked ready for an update. Very little natural light, as the window looked out into the lobby atrium. Decent facilities in the room (mini-fridge, iron and ironing board, safe, kettle), and the air conditioning worked well. Some issues with the TV, primarily with the remote control. Also had to ask for extra tea bags in our room when we first arrived because there was only a couple of herbal teabags and no coffee. Great breakfast, though, with a good selection of options. Perhaps most importantly, the bed was comfortable and we slept very well.

Hotel looks nice from the outside and reception is lovely but beyond that its very dark. Our room was internal with a small window so no natural light. This is the complete opposite of the photo which shows a bright airy room. The room also felt small with an unecessary desk and large chair occupying valuable space. Room was also very hot and hard to cool down, the air con makes little difference and needs to be on all night to keep the temperature bearable. Resonable value but expected a lot more and will not be staying here again.

It was overall fine. We booked a standard room and were given a standard accessible room, which was ok in itself. However it was right next to the lift, so our sleep was a bit disturbed by the sound of people and the lift being called late at night and early in the morning. The room window didn’t face outside, instead into a light well, which was opposite other rooms about 10ft away. So opening the curtains for any natural light wasn’t an option as you’d have people looking straight into your room. The lack of natural light made the room feel claustrophobic. Final con was, a basic kettle and teabags/coffee and sugar were provided, but nothing with which to stir them. Pros: not far from several tube stations, right next to O2 Empire Shepherd’s Bush if you’re attending something there as we were. Near Westfield shopping centre for restaurants and parking. Staff were friendly.
It was overall fine. We booked a standard room and were given a standard accessible room, which was ok in itself. However it was right next to the lift, so our sleep was a bit disturbed by the sound of people and the lift being called late at night and early in the morning. The room window didn’t face outside, instead into a light well, which was opposite other rooms about 10ft away. So opening the curtains for any natural light wasn’t an option as you’d have people looking straight into your room. The lack of natural light made the room feel claustrophobic. Final con was, a basic kettle and teabags/coffee and sugar were provided, but nothing with which to stir them. Pros: not far from several tube stations, right next to O2 Empire Shepherd’s Bush if you’re attending something there as we were. Near Westfield shopping centre for restaurants and parking. Staff were friendly.

Booked the Dorsett when I arrived I presented a small issue to the reception team, Victoria was able to deal with this very efficiently and manager Louis, couldn't of done enough for us, Also as it was my partners birthday we were left a small gift in the room from the hotel, which was a great touch, Everytime we entered or left the hotel we were greeted by a staff member, which was a nice touch, and the staff couldn't do enough for you, any minor issues we did have and yes we did have a few were dealt with very efficiently and fixed very quickly. The free biscuits and sweets in the lobby is also a nice touch, Overall we had a great time, and will definatley be using this hotel again if visiting shepherds bush or somewhere nearby!

This was the third year in a row that we had stayed at the Dorsett and we noticed that the condition of the hotel is worsening every year. We had problems with the aircon last year and had to move once. However this yearvwe moved three times! The revolving door at the entrance has been undergoing maintenance since last July? The staff are very helpful/patient considering the amount of complaints they were receiving. Overall our stay was ok but we are looking at other options for next year as it’s obvious the aircon situation will not be resolved. We were charged a £25 a night depisit (£100 in total) which we were told eould be refunded at check out, after three weeks we have still not received it.

Great hotel. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. Had an issue with the air-conditioning in my room. Raised this issue with staff and the matter was dealt with swiftly. Excellent customer service, especially for the young lady who rectified the air-con matter and Victoria who was just amazing! Great job, guys.

I have stayed at this hotel maybe 40-50 times over the last 6-7 years and is just not as good as it once was. Very poor check-in. I booked a standard room and was informed they no longer had any left and i was allocated an accessible room. Breakfast - £22.50 and massively overpriced for what's on offer. Check out - Although I had pre paid through Hotels.com, i was asked to leave a £25 deposit for extras charged to the room. After checking out being told all was OK, my card was charged another £140. I went back to the hotel to query this to be informed that there had been an error and would be refunded. 7 days later this is still being shown on my statement and attempts to speak with reception staff is challenging at best. To summarise , this is just becoming another standard, dated, London hotel who rely on tourists just passing through.

There were no pillow cases on the pillows. I wanted to go to sleep but couldnt with no pillowcases. I phoned reception - very difficult to get anyone to answer. When someone finally did, they promised the pillow cases would be brought to my room within 10 minutes. Half an hour later I rang reception again to say they hadn’t arrived. Very poor service during check in. No vip service for Expedia gold member. They even dispise gold membership. We ask for high floor rooms on booking but was given the worse rooms during checkin, on the first floor. They were reluctant to offer late check out out found out I have stayed here five times already they finally agreed a late check out. The guy at the check in keeps on saying you have to book thru the hotel directly in order to get better rooms and late check out perks. It doesn't matter what kind of gold memberships you have. The breakfast used to be good for my past stays but this time it is terrible for the price. Better go outside and eat which is much cheaper and better. Definitely I will not stay again, one recommendation is residence inn which is more friendly with better breakfast and compatible price

Reception very helpful but 20 minute check in. Both rooms lovely yet booked birthday celebration for both rooms and only received balloons in one - very disappointed Reception issued with vip voucher for drinks however bar area was shut due to the one and only bar member being on a break and no one available to cover -we asked at reception 3 separate times to ask for a drink to be told to wait until she came back very abruptly. When the bar lady returned we found her to be very rude with an unnecessary attitude. She also had an entourage and appeared to mock us as we were leaving which is very unprofessional. Bar area was also covered in rubbish and McDonald takeaway wrappers - for such a beautiful hotel it really let it down. Breakfast hot food was cold and had been left - flask of hot water was cool - milk was warm. Pastries overcooked and dry - inedible asked for brown bread took almost 20 minutes for them to bring it back and when asked was told abruptly its coming. This is our 3rd visit and was very poor based on previous visits.

Every time I stay in London, I always stay at the Dorsett. The location is great, the staff are helpful, the place is immaculate and beautifully designed. It's also quiet whilst in a bustling area with lots of options for shopping and dining. Highly recommend.

Unfortunately it took 3 attempts to give us a suitable room. Once that was sorted the shower was great although it leaked and the bed was big and comfortable. Decor in the room was tired, breakfast was good and dinner and drinks very average (for what we expected). We do have high standards so don’t be put off, oh and and the staff were all pleasant to deal with.

We arrived at 10.05am to be refused breakfast as weekday breakfast finished at 10am. Refund or alternative was not offered. Otherwise great stay lovely hotel and rooms.

White check in hostess was not really sympathetic. Breakfast was awfull. No choice and nothing left to eat at 9 am. We had to wait for almost 20 minutes to get a refill. Coffee was cold. Roasties were good but we had to sait 40 minutes to get them !!! I do not recommend the breakfast in this hotel !!!

The big annoyance was the aircon wasn't working and it clearing wasn't working throughout the hotel or at least on my floor as they had left out lots of cheap fans. I booked the hotel specifically because it says it has aircon. No mention of it from the staff. You can definitely get better for the same rate.

The bathroom had a strong sewage smell, which made it very unpleasant to use. The room itself was extremely unclean, with visible stains on the walls and dirty windows.
