The only issue I had was the pool was dirty and my son couldn’t swim. We did have to wait for towels also. Maybe 15 mins so it wasn’t bad. Overall comfortable and clean is what matters. The staff was on their job. I would definitely stay again.

Check in was not good; very slow and they couldn't seem to get anything right. We came to this hotel because there was a pool; however, they said the pool wasn't open although it looked perfectly fine. My grandkids were really looking forward to swimming. The girl at checkout couldnt explain why the pool wasn't open and she was extremely rude. The room was fine; no complaints there.

All of the staff members we encountered were very nice. I mentioned to one of the house keepers when he was checking to see if we needed anything that a light was out and within 2 mins a maintenance worker was there changing the bulb. The hotel was clean. The pool area was nice and clean with plenty of chairs and tables.

The hotel is located right on Broad Street next to the lively downtown area with plenty of shops and events. However, it is far enough away from the center of it all that it is still quiet. You seem to need a card to get into even the main entrance and most of the parking is gated which was a nice surprise. The people working there were super nice. The complimentary breakfast was good with plenty of protein options rather than just fruit and carbs like some places. The wifi was fast and reliable and the air conditioning was superb. The building itself is a little rough around the edges with some tears in the carpet, patches on the walls, the bathroom mirror was recessed into the wall a bit, and a crack in the shower. Despite this wear, nothing felt dirty or neglected somehow; it's just a building and things get old. I would stay here again if I come back to Augusta.

The inside was very clean. Outside needs some help. There was no trashcan in room, just tiny one in bathroom. Lighting is very dim in room and bathroom. No top for ice bucket. One bath towel smelled like body odor. Metal bed frame made horrible noise.

When we entered to check in, people were talking and no one looked up to say hello. After we did check in, one of our rooms was Not cleaned. It was extremely noisy and we spoke to front desk. The only staff that was incredibly friendly and helpful was the kitchen guy Horace. He welcomed us with a big smile and was wiping down tables and talking with all the guests. I was very disappointed with my experience

Thin walls, noise from neighboring rooms and floors were disruptive. Floors in room and hallways were dirty. In a rough part of downtown. But staff was nice. So we left a day early and moved to the Marriott, which was well worth the higher price.

We had two rooms 7 people total but only had 4 bath towels. Was told there were no more available. Also carpet in one room could stand a cleaning. Small speck of what appeared to be blood on a sheet. The other room had a crack in the shower wall.

This place did not meet my expectations, I had issues with the first room, it was pet hair on the sofa and there's no light to really see so i used my light on my phone and i wasn't about to sit on that... It was NASTYYYY! So I explained it to the staff and they got me into another suite and it was just as bad, Me being me, checking the sheets and pulling covers back and the young lady she helped me pulled them back, she said she do the same thing and she understood, so come to find out the sheets wasn't clean it was hair and trash and spots on the sheets and hair in the tub.. NEVER EVER AGAIN! I CAN NOT RECOMMENDED THIS HOTEL. BUT THE STAFF WAS AMAZING... VERY PROFESSIONAL. AND THEY HANDLED THEIR BUSINESS AND ACCOMMODATED FOR MY STAY. WAS GOING TO STAY FOR 2 DAYS BUT NO THAT ONE WAS ENOUGH... TO THE SUPERVISOR OVER HOUSECLEANING, PULL THEM HOUSE CLEANERS TO THE SIDE AND LET THEM KNOW HOW UNACCEPTABLE NOT PULLING DIRTY SHEETS FROM THE BEDS.. IT'S NASTY! WHEN THEY DON'T DO THEIR JOB IT MAKES THE WHOLE BUSINESS LOOKS BAD... that was just as bad as the first suite....

The hotel is undergoing renovations, and it was a bit noisy. The noise ended at 6 pm and did not start until 9 am. This was reasonable. I stayed in one of the updated rooms. It was clean and comfortable. The artwork was not up yet, so it was a bit stark. The results should be great.

Check in was great. Staff was very friendly. The hotel is older and needs some updating. Cracked tile in shower. Toilet was not secure. Chair in room was broken. I will say the bed was comfortable which is a plus. We were in town to see a concert, so hotel was very convenient to that. Overall the hotel is okay if you’re staying for a quick visit.

The hotel was better than expected. Breakfast was great, one of the best on our holiday. Slight negative was the air conditioning unit in our bedroom which made a loud noise and didn’t ever switch off! This made sleeping difficult.

Fine hotel, clean and good shower. Super thin walls though…had constant noise going on throughout the hotel through the night and didn’t get any sleep. Also awoke to what sounded like someone KICKING A BARREL DRUM OR WATER HEATER DOWN THE HALLWAY. It was so loud that’s the only way I could describe it, which in theory wouldn’t make sense. I’ve never been so startled in my life at a hotel…AND THEN TO HAVE IT HAPPEN TWICE?! Also, the air conditioning unit in the room was incredibly loud if you turned the room down past 73…IN JUNE. I awoke in a nice pool of sweat to the thunderous booms and was about ready to just call it a night and drive two hours back to Atlanta. The staff overall was very nice however and I enjoyed my stay in the city. The hotel…well, another story.

This hotel was clean, modern and up to date. However our king size bed seemed a little worn. When lying down, a person tended to roll into the middle of the bed. The outside patio area was clean and quiet. It was a great evening for us to sit outdoors.

My plans are to never stay at this property again. I was there for three days and only got a minimal of three hours of sleep each night from Thursday to Saturday. They would not accommodate our move me to another room. I was not informed that there was construction going on at the hotel. The front desk Inez never followed up with me on any questions that I had for her. I asked to speak for general manager she gave me a card and the phone number ring right back to the front desk. I never had a chance to speak with the general manager. She would never tell me when Norman R would be in or able to speak with me. we checked out of the hotel this morning and we hope to never return to this property ever again. We will let everyone know of the bad experience that we had on social media.

I was traveling with coworkers and had a long day after a convention and we were greeted with incredible service with a smile by Tuttie. She energized us with her humor, conversation, and her positive attitude. There was a minor issue with our credit cards at first, but she was able to find a workaround and didn’t have us waiting for long. The property was in great condition and the complimentary breakfast was hot and fully stocked. A true gem of a property especially with people like Tuttie working there.

When we arrived to check around 5:30 p.m. our room wasn't ready!I The hotel was under renovation! So we went out for the evening they gave keys cards & said our room would be ready when we came back! They double booked the room! We walked into to someone else in the bed! They eventually got us another room! When i asked for a manager they claimed they're wasn't one on duty! They staff acted obviously to the whole situation! I will never stay here again!

Ebony and Osha at the front desk are amazing, greetings with a sincere smile, friendly, professional and has exceptional hospitality. My stay along with my families was awesome. Also Haraoce during the hours of serving breakfast has a wonderful personality, full of joy and good laughter… He made our stay one to remember, all the food fresh and hot. Great sense of urgency. All the staff here deserve a raise increase because they go over and beyond to get the job done…. And a Job Well DONE at that!!!! I will recommend all my family and friends visiting to stay here, from my experience. Thank you to all the staff for all your hard work and efforts in making our stay comfortable and welcoming.

Gotta say it... we're glad Latasha was on duty when we checked in! Lots of goofy things messing up with the key cards and the parking gate, etc. she handled it all with grace, courtesy, and respect. Very pleasant experience!

Front desk staff was not very responsive. We were also given a room without black out blinds installed and the lights from the parking lot shining into the room. I booked a room almost a year in advance. And I think I was assigned one at the last minute. But close to transition and very convenient for Augusta 70.3. Clean… I guess to Be expected from 3 star hotel. We just had a really bad check in experience and the lack of a black out blind just topped it off.

Kim in food service did am outstanding job ensuring we were well tended to during the complimentary breakfast. Honestly she went way above and beyond and deserves a spot bonus and/or raise, as she is one of the main reasons we'll probably return. Ebony in guest service did a great job as well! The hotel is in a pretty good location, convenient to AU and not too far from better shopping. The downtown Augusta area has many vacant storefronts, which is not ideal, but that's not the hotel's fault.

We went to Augusta because of the James Brown connection. Unsure what to expect. The town is definitely on the up. A little rough around the edges, but safe and walkable in downtown, even at night. Hotel is within walking distance of the museum, riverwalk, bars and restaurants. The property is clean, comfortable and well appointed. Would stay again.

All of the employees nice and professional. The breakfast crew were extremely friendly and took care of all of our needs. This hotel is on the far end of Broad St, but never felt unsafe and was convenient to walk for events, dining, and shopping.

There was no breakfast service provided. There were coffee urns but the creamer containers were empty. We were in a rush to get to an event in the morning and were counting on being able to grab a quick breakfast at the hotel as advertised. Parking is behind a locked gate and signage on hotel door to deter people seeking public restrooms makes it seem there are security issues in the area too.

The facility is nice and clean, the staffs are helpful. However, Augusta downtown feels quite deserted in a normal day, even though it’s where all these recommended tourist attractions are, like Riverwalk and the Morris Museum of Art, etc. The biggest complaints I have is the breakfast — the milk they put out (in the refrigerator) had past expiration by one day. The one I opened had visible signs of turning bad. I threw it away, and just had some bacon, sausage and scrambled eggs, and I still ended up having stomach problems and had a couple of runs for the restroom an hour later.

Everything was perfect. Check in went seamless. Room was spacious. Air was a little stuffy but thats minor as ac blew cold. Good breakfast selection (grits, eggs, omelets turkey sausage ,etc). Room service was prompt. All in all good experience
