Wonderful getaway, per friendly! Listening to the frogs by the little pond at night was so peaceful

This property was unique and the best available option in this area by far. 5 stars all around. The property was very clean and had anticipated our every need. We even saw ducks and deer on the property. Very private and so fun.

Such a unique way to stay! Not far from restaurants. Easy drive to Olympic national park. They are decorated so perfectly! Our kids loves staying on the “bunk” beds. The caboose was well equipped (we were in Orient Express) with microwave, stovetop, mini fridge/freezer and basic dishes. Common room had billiards, foosball, games, etc and laundry

This is a cool stay. The rail cars are a unique experience. Before you stay you need to be aware that since it is a rail car it is a unique room setup. We found it to be a comfortable and entertaining stay. One thing to note is the only place to sit and eat is outside. Which is great if the weather is nice. Coffee and tea in the room. Bathtub was clean and spacious. The property is cool with fruit trees and berries around the property. A small pond full of ducks in the middle. We took a short walk and my wife picked some pears to eat. Close to town for some food options and other needs. We slept well as it was a quiet area. It worked great for our needs. We would definitely stay again.

This is a fantastic and unique place to stay. We stayed June 10, 2023 just after an Alaska cruise. We were very pleased to find a washer and dryer in the little "club house" along with a pool table, foosball and lots of table games. We enjoyed those amenities while waiting for our clothes to wash and dry. The location is great and we fell in love with the town, being easy to navigate and having a Costco and Walmart. We found two wonderful restaurants there as well. The caboose itself was adorable and the beds comfortable. The only drawback was the bathroom situation, which lacked sound privacy and visual privacy to a certain degree. But it was not a deal breaker in any way. We are a family of four and our stay in Track #3 will be a memory forever

Beautiful grounds, secluded with a lovely pond, shade trees and lawn furniture. Each caboose is unique, with charming decor around a theme. At first look, furnishings/amenities seem dated, but function is decidedly modern. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, no other commercial properties nearby. Short walk to town park (playground, skatepark, dog park and large scenic duck pond with pavilions), and to major supermarket chain.

Nice choice for a unique stay. The caboose was set up to have everything needed. This is the place if you don't want a chain hotel. I was impressed with how quiet it was. The supply car with ice and games and more was certainly a bonus. We knew it going in, but not having a shower was the only thing we weren't excited about.

The Olympic Railway Inn is unique and charming! We stayed in the Grape Escape car. Very clean, well-decorated, and comfortable. A few of the amenities are getting a bit tired (window coverings), and don't expect a lot of bathroom privacy, but overall, we loved our stay and so glad we did. Great memories!

The dishes were unclean and the floor was sticky. Apart from that, we felt the stay was cozy.

Upon arriving, my husband and I were very excited to see how cute the property was. We stayed at the western train and it was amazing how well decorated the train was. However, our satisfaction was crushed very quickly when we started noticing pet hair everywhere. It wasn’t just one spot the cleaning staff missed. It was on the bedding, heaters, shower head, and on the chairs. It wasn’t one or two hair but we found chunks. It just seemed like we got new bedsheets and new towels but everything was left as is from the previous travelers. The train chairs on the “second floor” had so much dog hair we couldn’t enjoy them. The place was really cute and very thoughtfully decorated. So I know the owner really cares about this place. That’s why I'm leaving this honest review. I hope they improve the cleanliness because we really want to come back here again for the steampunk strain.

We did find someone else’s clothes in the bunk. Also we could use a third blanket. But my kids loved the toys and the Christmas car!!

Honestly we loved the adorable train cars and the pond with the ducks and had every intention of booking another stay for longer next month. Within an hour of arriving at the property I began to wheeze and started to have problems catching my breathe, I thought it was perhaps just an allergy, so we opened all the windows all night long even though its winter. The next morning with the sun shining we noticed that the air in the room was heavy with dust and particulates (with the exorbitant $40 cleaning fee they charge everyone the rooms should be immaculate.) we literally made the comment it looked like it was snowing so we opened the door and looked for where it was all coming from. I spent the day out and about when I came back I was drawing a hot bath when I realized that the heater that is on the wall above the tub was pushing out a significant amount of large white particulates. I also realized that it was pulling the flocking off the Christmas trees that had been screwed into place on the platform right under the heating/cooling unit. It hit me right then this was why I was having so much trouble breathing, Iam respiratory compromised. I contacted the property and explained that I was having issues breathing flocking is toxic to inhale especially with respiratory issues. I was told to avoid the area (it's a studio)I had to leave in the middle of the night after having serious respiratory distress. They didn't offer a different room and have denied a partial refund

What kept the stay from being almost perfect was the lumpy, worn out foam mattress that caused my spine to get out of alignment. The awful foam mattress really needs to be replaced in the Lavender caboose, and most people prefer innerspring mattresses. Also needs some deep cleaning, the fridge/freezer needed to be cleaned and defrosted, and some cobwebs inside.

Internet signal very poor.

WiFi spotty, watched a movie on Apple TV was good for the first hour then buffered for ever and gave up trying to watch. Floor is very cold, could use some insulation underneath. Other than that was a good stay might do it again at a different time of year. Conveient location, quiet and close to town.

The Good - Unique place to stay, Nostalgic in nature, Close and Easy Parking, Beautiful Interior in our unit The "Not so Good" - Overly complicated heating/AC units, the bed frame squeaky horribly, I didn\'t realize our unit ONLY had a bathtub and no shower.(My bad on that one.)

Interesting place to stay. Not your usual hotel! But my caboose lacked a shower because it had a beautiful claw foot tub. The temperature controls on the HVAC were not understandable. The caboose’s theme was well done. Comfortable bed and the unique aspects of the place outweighed any inconvenience.

Very unique place. All of the rooms are cabooses. Each is very private. Clean. The only bad thing is that the mattress in steampunk needs to be replaced as it says really bad. I had to sleep with my head at the foot of bed

Staying in a railway car is a very unique experience. Each car is decorated in a different theme; ours was the Orient Express. It was quiet and well appointed with a deep jet tub, glass-walled shower and a small kitchenette.

This is second time we've stayed here and I love it! It's super fun and cute and I love that there is air conditioning in the caboose. My only wish is that they install a shower rod and curtain around the tub. It's super cute and all but really hard to figure out how to shower in there without getting water everywhere. Other than that I love the little pond and how close it is to everything but still feels very quiet. The couch is also a nice place to hang out and watch TV. I'm also a bed snob so a mattress topper would have been a wonderful addition.

It was a great experience staying in the train the only negative was the WI-FI was not consistent

Unique lodging experience! Easy check in and check out. Nice and clean! Hotels.com had ZERO transparency about pet fees! I did not find out about the additional fees until I checked in. Not acceptable!

Absolutely loved our stay! I had a friend from out of town and it was our first time here, and definitely won't be the last! We had the Steampunk car this time...all of the decor was so rad! The hosts (off-site) were very responsive and courteous. Very clean, as was the shared common space. (Only recommendation would be to have a shared caboose that allows for cooking :))) I've told so many people about it and cannot wait to return! Thank you!!

Great place to stay. We had to call to figure out how to deal with the heater, but other than that the stay and experience was great. Love the themes and the cleanliness of the car.

Coolest hotel we've ever stayed at! Easy to find, super easy check in and such a neat space. Lots of little details (lights left on, music playing and bowl of fruit!) upon check in. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great stay

Super fun experience with these multiple themed cabooses. Really nice and fun Casino theme. You have to try it. The small issue we did have was rectified right away with the customer service person over text, so there were no issues for us. We were pleasantly surprised at how quick the customer service person responded back to our concern. We will plan to be back and experience those other cabooses too.

I was not given the password to enter the room and could not contact anyone. I had to check into another hotel late at night. A very bad trip.

No onsite property management. No phone number. Booked same day and received entry code via text near midnight. Had to book elsewhere in town. No email follow-up, no text replies. Unable to stay at facility and never received any follow up.

No one on duty to ask for fresh towels.

There is no staffing at the property. No warm blankets were provided in the room. There was no way to keep bright light that was on all night outside my room from coming in through upper windows that had no blinds. I will not stay there again, and I do not recommend it. Children would probably like it a lot.

We enjoyed our time, the bathtub was incredible and the bed was clean and comfy. The staff warmed the space prior to our arrival, which was very thoughtful as it is literally freezing out. Some confusion regarding the property fee since it is the same cost as our actual booking, which led to confirmation bias that I'd booked two nights instead of one.

Very unique and not something you come across very often. Accommodations were as expected and described on the internet. The only downside which was very small to us was the location of the setup. We enjoy a nice walk to nearby restaurants and pubs and the location of this business was not within walking distance. Once again a very small issue which most people may not think is a big deal but to us it's one of our favorite things to do. Overall very fun and would do it again.

Such a unique environment. We were in the Lavender Caboose. Spacious, quiet, walk to the park or grocer. My husband's favorite part was the galvanized rod that he did chin-ups on. Will come back.
