Room itself was nice and spacious and in relatively good order. Unfortunately, when booking through Expedia, you have to look to discover that it’s gonna cost you $25 a night plus fees and tax to park your car on site they advertise there is an underground parking, but there are very few spaces and once those are full, you have to park a half a block away in overflow parking. Parking cost is not included in the cost of the room and you still pay the 25+ dollars even if you have to park in overflow. Also, the breakfast was fair at Best and was often not well stocked and very messy area often had to wait for them to bring out fresh food when the food or coffee was gone they were not quick about it

This property was a great weekend hangout for our trip to the area. The Roof top bar was a pleasant surprise, and savior for a late night arrival with Pizza to solve the hunger pains. Nice and fresh, lots of space to hang out. Parking was a bit odd, and having to use the key card in the elevator took a bit to get used to, but was no problem.

Wonderful hotel and experience for our family with young children. Hotel is attached to Hamilton Inn & Suites Where we and other guests had breakfast and used the pool. Not sure of the exact reason (low guest count or time low staff levels?)and whether ita a typical arrangement , but those amenities were very enjoyable. Food was fresh, always replenished and the staff were so friendly and personable! Pool was a bit chilly, too cold for some adults but not a problem for the kids! Fitness room was nice ans clean and even had a peloton! The reception staff werw always more than happy to help, even to the point of changing TV channels to accommodate several family members’ interests in the bar And bringing us dishes and silverware when we had takeout. The in-room kitchens made it convenient to store food and snacks. Beds were VERY comfortable; even the sofa bed mattress was thick and plush (no coils or bends!!)!. Location wise, there was a market Fresh Thyme (?) and a yummy boba shop Feng Che an easy 2 min walk awayZ Orherwise not much to see or do in the immediate vicinity (unless you’re there for some University event). 20 min drive to go to Saint Paul (museums) and Bloomington (MoA). Parking is steep at $22/night considering the location and lack of security and coverage. Nonetheless, this was an excellent family stay and we were very pleased and would return again

Clean and quiet. Parking was $25/night though and they take a $50 deposit to cover "incidentals" which we didn't know about when we went. It's returned when you check out as long as nothing was charged to your room. Just things that are good to know ahead of time. We really liked our room and location was great

One of two rooms had makeup wiped on a door, a dirty pillowcase, tissues on the floor under night stand and a dirty glass in the sink. Asked for daily service and didn’t get. Complained then got great service for the day. Next night had to go get towels, they left wash rags and hand towels but no bath towels.

The hotel was quiet and clean. We wished the bathroom had a tub because we were traveling with littles, but we made it work. Pizza from the restaurant downstairs was good, and proximity to the children's hospital was a huge bonus.

Located downtown. Lobby is located at ground level to University Ave. Across from the post office. Nothing special to view. There’s a small bar in the lobby with some food. Everything was clean. Rooms are quiet. Large bathroom, walk-in shower.

This is a fantastic property. The rooms are excellent -- very roomy, and perfectly clean. The whole hotel is nice and clean! Parking was easy, and even the $25 per night parking fee was fine because parking on site was just so convenient. Breakfast was pretty standard -- great options and good places to sit. The lobby is beautiful as well! It was a rainy weekend when we visited, so we didn't get to visit the rooftop bar, but honestly I'll go back to this hotel in a heartbeat. 10/10 recommend.

There were pubic hairs in shower. We couldnt shower becuse all rooms were booked. Did refund dog deposit. But shouldn't there been more ?

Our stay at the Minneapolis (campus area) Home2 Suites was very good. Easy check-in with friendly front desk staff. We used the garage parking, which was easily accessible. Our room was comfortable and spacious. We were within walking distance of several restaurants.

Comfortable and clean. Close to the university and about 15-20 minutes from most other areas of interest. I brought my dog and it was easy to let her out. The only complaint is that it was easy to hear things in the hallways.

The beds were very uncomfortably in fact the pull out couch bed was more comfortable. The blankets were horribly scratchy and uncomfortable. The pillows had no fluff to them at all so your head pretty much sunk to the bed. Very clean place just very uncomfortable stay.

Hotel room itself was great. No vent in the bathroom? Maybe I just didn’t know how to turn it on but it was quite foggy after 4 showers. There was a surprise parking fee deposit but we did get it back.

Great location for activities at the University. Staff was awesome. Room was great. Road outside can be a bit noisy but only when a someone is driving aggressively. Breakfast was ok but not great. It would be great to have a few more options. Bar was good. Overall great stay.

We chose this hotel initially for the fact that it had a good rating all around and was less than two miles away from the hospital we were heading to the next morning. We drove from 4 hours away as our son was having surgery and we were completely exhausted when we arrived. Come to find out, we forgot to pack some very important and required items for our child. I went down to the front desk to see if they had such items in their shop. They unfortunately did not, but volunteered immediately to shuttle me to a store that would. After returning, I of course noticed another item we needed. Right away, the staff would not take no for an answer and drove me there again without any questions. The staff were incredibly accommodating and caring and made us feel at home. The hotel was fully locked up and you needed a key just to enter a main door, which made us feel safe and secure. If/when we need to take another trip to the cities and will be in that area, we will definitely book at Home2 again.

The front desk staff was terrible the only thing I like from this place was the room. Was very nice but the shower don’t have curtains and we go to the front desk and they don’t resolve my problem until 3 times I request and that issue make me be in my event late.

Justin greeted us at the front desk. He was so helpful and friendly! The hotel offered us a free shuttle over to University of Minnesota for our campus tour, and picked us up promptly afterwards. I forgot my laptop at business center, if it was retrieved and held for me at the desk until I could arrange to have it picked up. Exceptional service!

I would have given five stars if we hadn't been treated so disrespectful. The two women at the desk were very rude to my son when he went down to ask about breakfast and check out time because they did not mention any of that to me and when we got to the room there was nothing in our room to read about it. Okay we're not friendly and they did not smile.

Nice clean property, big rooms, and conveniently close to the U of M. The area didn’t feel safe, hence why hotel entrances are locked 24 hours a day. Parking is an additional $25 per night which is very limited and hard to navigate with a big suv or truck.

Very convenient location. We hopped on the metro to go just about everywhere but it’s also an easy walking distance to lots of food as well. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and spacious. Great stay!

Very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Hotel is conveniently located and all staff were pleasant and friendly. Too windy to use the rooftop terrace but it would have been great if weather hadn't been an issue. Easy in and out parking.

Room we stayed was very spacious and well maintained. The property is at a walkable distance (1 mi = 20 min) from University of Minnesota. Plus, the metro green line station is very near (5 min walk) which is a great option to travel to the airport (Only $2 per person for 2.5 hrs). Definitely this will be our first choice for stay on our next trip.

Check in was pleasent. Justin was professional, curtious, and truley made our arrival welcoming. All staff interactions during stay were excellent, Thank you! Room was Clean, Comfortable, and well appointed as expecting. Bar & Lounge areas were comfortable with fair pricing. Breakfast was above average. Parking tight, but also expected.

The people across the hall were screaming all hours of the night banging doors. The breakfast was mediocre and was basically the same thing every day with zero options. There was hardly ever someone at the front desk always had to go the other side.
