The Nest

This house has potential but we encountered a few issues that affected our ability to enjoy our stay. The front door code didn’t work when we arrived at night and we sat outside in the dark holding our dinner and using our phone flashlight to find the various lockboxes. The property description posted is not accurate as it relates to pricing and usage of the spa. It didn’t heat the first day and required dozens of calls and texts and a maintenance visit to get it working. To his credit, the gentleman who fixed the spa was very friendly. Unfortunately, we had to request assistance from VRBO to get resolution for the issues with the front door and spa.The home itself is simple, but fine. It was clean and well appointed, though not upgraded. The microwave is a portable, apartment sized one and doesn’t really heat. The backyard is private and has nice loungers and plenty of shade and a lovely view. The pool required a lot of daily cleaning because the tall trees blow debris. We did like that they had quality, resort style pool floaties.We visit Palm Springs several times a year and have never had so many issues during a stay. The management company seems to be operating under different names and it took multiple attempts to get some issues resolved. After our stay they asked for feedback “to make things right” and then never followed up. Bottom line…if we hadn’t experienced any issues and gotten more help we could have had a very nice stay.

Charming bungalow with a large private yard, clean pool & spa. Home was clean, well stocked with basics necessities for cooking. Pool area was clean, well maintained yard. Quiet neighborhood within walking distance to food spots. Great home for a couple or small family.

The cleanest rental we have ever stayed in!! We loved everything. The outdoor living space and pool were perfect for the relaxing getaway we were looking for. Th kitchen had every utensil, pan, etc you could need. Beds were comfy. An adorable, clean, well kept up home, and we look forward to coming back again. The location was perfect for us too. Close to the hiking trail and short drive to downtown PS.

Very clean and nice home with an awesome backyard and killer pool. We had a fantastic stay. All the amenities are available for a great and easy stay. Also, really fast customer service by the management company. Thank you!!
