Casa Ganesh Beachfront Tulum Hotel

The room is small but very cute! The best thing is that it’s right on the beach…just a few steps away. They have lounge chairs or the option to go to two different beach clubs without a cover charge. Water pressure in the shower was amazing! Just wish it had a little fridge.

This property is very safe and centrally located to all the best restaurants and night life. You have a beach that is literally right outside your door. If you don't mind not having room service and restaurants on premise than this is the right place for you. It's very bohemian and quite a little gem of a hotel right smack in the middle of everything you want and more. Sandra at the front desk is very helpful and had a lot of great recommendations. You also have VIP access to Rosa Negra Beach club which is right next door and Ahau restaurant and hotel that's right down the street( about a 4 minute walk). I highly recommend this hotel and we always look forward to our stay at Casa Ganesh

No beach view from any rooms. But direct beach access. Gated property is nice addition. Bed was NOT comfortable at all. Sunken in the middle and we both woke up with sore backs. Im a silver member with hotels.com. Upon booking the room hotels.com said a free spirit would be inlcuded upon our arrival. The hotel had no bottle to offer (no restaurant or bar on property). They said that is hotels.com's offer, NOT ours. I believe this part to be the fault of hotels.com for offering something that they can not confirm with the hotel.

Camera non molto grande pulita. Sei direttamente in spiaggia. L’hotel offre camere tranquille ma non ha nessun servizio di ristorazione o bar, per questo Motivo si appoggia all’hotel accanto Ahau. L’hotel come tutta la zona ha prezzi molto alti.

Other reviews are correct- it is way too loud to get any rest during the day. Blaring music from noon to 7:00 PM. The property should be much cheaper due to this but still charges high rates as if this wasn’t a serious issue. Also their beach front is a JOKE, but they do offer free entry to multiple beach clubs which somewhat makes up for this. I will say the staff is phenomenal though.

Lovely place to stay for a convenient quiet and affordable time in Tulum.. would have loved better amenities like a pool and restaurant on the property but there were lots of options walking distance both on and off the beach

We enjoyed staying at Ganesh. It has different agreements with beach clubs in the area so you can go to the coolest place with no cover to pay. Ganesh is a small boutique hotel with no pool, but there’s absolutely no need as you’ll have the beach reaching your door step. When it comes to parking, it’s hard. So Ganesh has another agreement with a sister-hotel 4 min away (walking) for 400 pesos/24 hours. Service is fantastic, they take care of you via WhatsApp and book everything for you. Also, there’s no breakfast, which I missed, but they deliver courtesy coffee every morning. I recommend the hotel!

The hotel is clean, conditioner worked very well, very friendly and helpful staff. A lot of restaurants are around, there are music clubs close by cause the hotel is in the heart of Tulum beach but we didn’t really care the loud music. Gomart is close also. You can use swimming pool of Rosa negra hotel which is next door, also art park of ahau hotel is free for you.

A very cozy hotel with security gate with the code given to you once you check-in by pressing the bell on the right side of the gate, a worker will come out to greet you. Room is cozy, super clean, AC/ceiling fan works great. Walks right to the beach in one minute and there are beach chairs waiting. Feels like a private beach area with not a lot of people, beach towel given upon request. We love this place, with friendly staff, no noise on our end. We would absolutely stay here again, Junior was super nice and accommodating, asked if we needed restaurant reservations, attraction/tour needs. He made us feel super welcomed and comfortable, no complaints at all within our one week stay here. The only thing I wish them have is a ramp for us to bring our bikes up, it was a bit of a struggle, it would be a great convenience for future guests if they rented bikes like we did. But overall everything is great from the cleanliness, comfortable bed/sheets, fast hot water, great AC, doting customer service, restaurant with walking distance convenience, and GREAT beach access right in their backyard! Everything is BEAUTIFUL!

The property is beautiful and is in a good location on the beach. Rooms were clean and the small things such as USB plugs and filtered water in the room were nice touches.

I really liked the style of the hotel room. Very clean and just a few steps from the beach. Everything is walking distance. The sculpture “Ven a La Luz” is less than a 5 minute walk.

The sink was clog. Not having body soap, conditioner, lotion was a little of inconvenient. The parking far from the hotel was also super inconvenient. I wished there was at least a shuttle to take you to the parking

The property is right on the beach, which was exactly what we were looking for. I wasn't quite prepared for the Constant Booming of the clubs right around, but the large walls kept it from wrecking my sleep. The only real complaint, bit of advice is don't stay in Room #2. It is right next to the generator and is louder than almost anything else going on at night. I had to close the bathroom door (which sealed it from AC and Dehumidifier) just muffle some of the generators noise. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The location is expensive.

Pros: - Great AC - Excellent WiFi - Great bathroom, awesome water pressure, and plenty of bath and beach towels - Comfy bed - Daily turndowns - Security box - Coffee/Tea offered in the AM and a large tank of drinking water provided - Beautiful aesthetic in room and on grounds - Great little beach with 4 double loungers - Nice respite from the enormous, loud/busy day clubs - Central location - Middle of Tulum beach - Bike rentals were easy and priced well - Super, super helpful front desk Cons: - No fridge - This was the biggest draw back as it can get quite warm and thus difficult to keep drinks cold. - Mosquitos - It’s the jungle, not a lot you can do about this. It was by no means overwhelming, but there were a few about at any given time. We swatted and kept bug spray handy - While it was exactly enough for us, the room is not very spacious - Noise - Construction: Closing soon for a month to finish building a restaurant. Street noise: Almost a nonissue, but worth mentioning. Both were easily and effectively solved with ear plugs. - Big windows open to common walk way. While there wasn’t a lot of foot traffic, there were enough folks to have to keep the blinds drawn while we were inside during the day. Only an issue for 1st floor guests We stayed at a few hotels during this trip. This was better than a couple of the other more expensive options. Very, very pleased!

Staff was nice, room was great, cool air & just a few feet away beach clubs… while still remaining a quaint peaceful stay 8.5 stay rate .. wouldn’t come back to Tulum though super super over priced & food wasn’t great

The room we stayed at had geckos coming in at night. They were making weird noises and we barely slept at night. I requested a new room and the hotel was occupied at the moment. I do not recommend

The property was personal and unique - focused around a natural environment. The great thing about this property is that it’s situated in the heart of Tulum. Everything is walking distance from this place. Also the property offers ocean access and bicycle rental if available. The best way to see to Tulum is on cycles. The rooms are spacious and the showers were amazing. Great customer service by the front desk staff. I plan to return to this property.

The property is very close to the beach. You are walking distance to all the great restaurants and day clubs. Rooms are small, but comfortable. There isn't any room service or TV's, but that's the beauty of being in Tulum. You are next to a lively restaurant, so if you're an early sleeper this is not your hotel.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff and service was the best part. They help you with any request and always with a smile. Would definitely come back to this hotel.

Nice property, had straight access to the beach which we loved! Convenient stay, it’s right on the strip where everything is at.

We had a great stay at Ganesh and the beach is beautiful. The staff is nice and helpful. Just know that there is a lot of noise all day around due to its location. Other than that, it is a great place to stay at and it is right in the middle of the nightlife of Tulum beach.

É um lugar incrível, seguro (tem senha para entrar e ainda um segurança toda a noite), beira-mar e super bem localizada! Ao lado dos melhores restaurantes de Tulum, farmácia em frente, supermercado há meia quadra! Nos forneceram uma sacola de praia para levarmos bebida para a praia! Volto com certeza absoluta só não nesta época de sargaço, a cor do mar perde a beleza do mar do Caribe!

Beautiful, clean small property right on the beach. Plenty of dining options within walking distance and a 24/7 gomart and pharmacy right across the street. Getting around and to tours is easy, the property manager is just a text away to help you set up transportation (or plenty of taxis up and down the street) and she’s there to give you tips/suggestions, and make things as easy for you as possible. A lot of people complain about noise from next door but it’s not bad at all, I stayed 4 days with my 8year old.

The staff were VERY friendly and accomodating. The location, the location, the location. Step out your room and onto sand, then maybe 50 feet to the beautiful turquoise water. True, it can be a bit of a club scene at night at the neighboring beach club but we it settles by a decent hour. We never stayed up past midnight and had no trouble sleeping.

Nice property, rustic, green, clean. Good location. Sadly next door is a beach club which blast awful music all day and night. You can hear it loudly in the room until early hours and you cannot relax in the beach loungers without the insanely loud music disruption. Nice beach, nice area but the music was a downfall, we moved to a different area!

En general la estancia fue tranquila, lo único es que no cuentan con estacionamiento por si llevas carro tienes que pagar parking. No cuenta con restaurant pero hay opciones alrededor. Personal muy amable. Locación perfecta!
