My family and I stayed for about a week In September. Pros: spacious rooms, great service from staff, food, pool areas, beach area. Cons: all inclusive did not apply to some options like the ice cream shop, room service also a had a fee, incorrect food opening options (some restaurants were never open), while others had long waits. We stayed in the large penthouse. The room had a kitchen but no kitchen utensils. Or napkins. We had a microwave but was told we couldn’t bring food from the restaurants. Why even have the microwave?? Overall. I’d visit again.

We had an excellent stay this week even with the terrible weather. The staff was amazing from the time we arrived. They were so polite and helpful. The new villas and the pool area were amazing. Our kids didn’t want to leave. Thank you for a great week and allowing us to unwind.

The first thing that I would say is that this is absolutely not an all inclusive. Most things around the resort had some things that were included and other things that were not. Room service as in the food itself was included, but you had to pay for it to be delivered. They would deliver wine in a glass, but no cocktails.. The quality of the rooms and the cleaning, depending upon the building that you were in. We had an issue with one of the electronic wristbands, if you totally lost it, it would cost US$125 to replace but they never told you that upfront. By and large the food in the restaurants was quite good as was a service. Unfortunately, no one with a regular reservation at the resort could make a reservation at the restaurants. It was all first come first serve which one you were travelling with a large group of people doesn’t really work the hostessing staff at the French restaurant was particularly awful just as an FYI. All of the bartenders were fantastic. The spa services were also wonderful, except for the fact that they were exorbitantly priced. For frame of reference an 80 minute massage was $300. The beach sand was phenomenal, but unfortunately, it did not get raked every day. The other issue was that in order to have an ocean view while you were sitting on the beach, you would’ve had to purchase a cabana for an additional fee. My overall experience was OK. They should not mark themselves as all inclusive!

We ate the same thing for 3 days due to no other food options but room service. Long walk to the beach. Had to pay for seating at beach.

Despite being all inclusive, this place loves to upsell you extra charge for amenities that make the stay inconvenient. For example, they take up half the space surrounding the pool for beds that they make you pay a ridiculous amount for, and you can’t find space to lay for free bc space is limited, so people are always waking up early and reserving the free seats, if you’re up to the pool after 10am good luck finding a spot. Our ambassador never talked to us so we missed out on some of the things that were included in our reservation simply because no one told us about. Beach was all rocky with no place to swim in it. If you’re going for the beach don’t stay at this resort.

Not a fan of all inclusive resorts but attended a function at the Fives and was nicely surprised by the quality of food, named brand drinks and A1 friendly, well trained staff. The resort goes above and beyond the norm with BBQs, silent discos, special events in the adults only areas, concerts and lots of other events for entire family. By booking with Expedia received a nice welcome gift, half priced transfers and an upgrade to a nice suite. Thank you Expedia. Only stayed in 4 all inclusive resorts (4 & 5 star) previously with the Fives by far the best value and food/drinks. A good choice for mid-range family resort.

Giving the resort a 5 because of its rating based on being a 4.5 star hotel! The food choices were AWESOME! There were maybe a few items I didn’t LOVE, but overall I loved most of the food. There’s tons of food options (they make fresh tacos and pizza right in front of you by the pool as well) and the resturaunts and the service and staff are excellent which made our stay the best and the drinks were good as well! What influences my rating most is how much there is to do! The hotel always has events and fun things planned so you never get bored (silent disco, pool foam parties, big fiesta brunches, casino nights etc) and it’s super lively day and night and family friendly. We went as a childless young couple and still had an amazing time. The negatives: the beach isn’t the BEST beach, they did an amazing job cleaning up the seaweed during seaweed season and the water was gorgeous, but it’s not the best beach in my opinion but the infinity pool overlooking it made up for that. The resturaunts sometimes had long wait times but at an all inclusive, makes sense. Overall, we will be returning to the fives!

The food was great with lots of high quality restaurants. Kids club was the best - safe, available throughout the day and evening, and my kids loved it. The outdoor plaza was a beautiful way to spend the evening rather than inside a hotel lobby. Lots of unique bars to try. There was also always something new to try for lunch at the beach…BBQ chicken and ribs, fresh seafood, tacos, pizza, burgers and hot dogs.

An average resort for the Playa area. Nothing remarkably good or bad about it. Food is mediocre at the buffets. The Japanese and Mexican specialty ones were the best. The best part of the resort is the entertainment team who are really fun. My kids loved Julian. The Michael Jackson show was the highlight of the night entertainment. Kids club is suitable for preschoolers but not older. One thing to watch out for is a lot of things are NOT included like the only ice cream shop, the only pool bar without a long line, and lots of the seating areas around the pool and beach. Overall, clean resort, well kept, best suited to teens and adults not looking for a lot of frills.

The staff was great they were always around to help. The food choices were good other than they only had the Buffet in the morning. As an all inclusive, they did not have coffee available all day. The rooms were clean. The only complaint I have is we didn’t have hot water for a few days I notified the front desk and never heard anything back. The door that separates the bed room from the sitting room fell off its track and was extremely heavy trapped us in our room. We had to have her daughter come rescue us. We called the front desk to have them fix it and hadn’t fixed it after two days. I think the front desk had very poor communication.

Let’s start by saying this property is not really all inclusive. Water in the shower smells like sewage others have said the same in previous reviews. Our shower didn’t work for the entire stay and the resort was notified but unfortunately they did nothing to fix the issue. We were forced to shower with a handheld hose. Cup of coffee is charge. A scope of ice cream is a charge. No bottle water in resort except the two they give you in your room. Certain foods were premium charge. No entertainment existed. The food was not good at all for what was included. Front desk girl was very rude and not helpful when asked about the shower not working, or trying to ask about our pick up time. It felt like the call centers that would bounce you to the next person. Wouldn’t come back here and definitely would not recommend this resort to anyone. I have stayed at Beloved in Cancun prior to this stay and that’s a totally different stay and much better resort. Also the beach was nasty and dirty.

Here is an honest assessment: Pros: The property hosts monkeys and other wildlife, features multiple pools, and boasts a pleasant beach. Room was dirty. Some of the staff was less than friendly. Dirty water behind the bed, the toilet has hard to flush, shower doors were broken, they provided only one washcloth for two people. Honestly too many complaints to list. We ended up checking out after one night and staying elsewhere.

Very disappointed. Myself and a few ladies, including my newly engaged daughter, took a trip to Five Resort this December. We had booked three nights in a two bedroom penthouse with an amazing feature: a rooftop hot tub. We were looking forwarding for that trip. Resort is amazing, very clean, well maintaining. The beach and all pools are very clean, and i only have great things to say about the outdoor areas. The problem is the dated rooms. NO hot water, broker sofa bed, broken drawers ( didn't care much about that) and the thing we were the most looking forward: broken hot tub. We had requested someone come in and fix it. The bathroom sink and toilet were broken too. They did not fix those items. The next day, I complained again. We paid a lot of money for the penthouse and already lost 1 night. They requested that we check out at 11 a.m., move our luggage to the lobby, and that our new room be ready by 3 p.m. Really?? I mean we paid full for the rooms. We let that go, hoping our last night would be amazing. We got our new room and hot tub was broken as well plus no working AC. I was very disappointed. I requested some money back since we paid extra and could not use our room or hot tubs. I was told I couldn't do that. not forgetting that they messed up our restaurant reservation too....This could have been an amazing trip but instead it was a big disappointment.\xa0

This was our first trip to Mexico and our first time staying in an all-inclusive resort. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with phenomenal service; bags were checked, drinks offered, and escorted to our Ambassador. The staff were amazing and made the stay worth it! The two-bedroom suite was huge and much more than we needed for four people - but we are glad that our teenagers were able to have their own space. The only complaint I have were the wait times at restaurants, but that was resolved quickly by either going at 5:30pm or after 8:30pm.

This was the first time my boyfriend and I went to this resort and we definitely would go back again. The staff was amazing. The food was great and there were so many options. Their evening events were also really great and there was always something new and fun to do. We loved the infinity pool by the beach best of both worlds. We highly recommend you taking the Mexican cooking class at Casa de Rosa. And the staff was really wonderful at all aspects of the resort. Our room was really nice. it was a swim up room so there was a little bit of a musty smell to it but that’s expected when you’re connected to water. All at all it’s a great resort and we definitely will be going back

Staff was amazing. All the restaurants are good food was perfect. Problem was our first night we got the room that had super strong mold smell. We complained they said they would send someone and nothing happened. Our daughter was obviously allergic to smell so we pretty much didn’t sleep first night.Second day we complained again thy moved us to different room with back of the building view with loud AC . And you could not adjust room temperature. With AC on it was always to cold. After a first night I would expect either room upgrade or some kind of a compensation.

As a family of four traveling from the east coast of the US, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at The Fives. We read many reviews AFTER we booked our travel, and had a few concerns regarding those reviews, but we really only had positive impressions of the property. While our room was not the exact set-up that we requested (2 kings instead of 1 king and 2 queens), it fit our family well. We had a spacious penthouse with plenty of indoor and outdoor space. One bathroom did have cooler water - which was one of the frequent review comments. Dining options did require reservations, but we were able to try all of the restaurants on the property in which we were interested. Were they EXACTLY at the time we had hoped, no, but we were on vacation so we could be flexible. I will say I expected more snack options during the day, though lunch options were available most of the day at the Infinity pool area. The plentiful pools were never crowded and the swim up bars were well staffed. The staff was attentive and courteous. The front desk staff and bell hop staff were always available for services. The property and our rooms were clean and comfortable. One thing to note - as a guest at the all-inclusive, we had bracelets that acted as our room key and also as our "ticket" for entry into all areas of the resort, but they are readily identified by vendors in town who will spot them and try to convince you that they were your waiter at the resort and ask you to visit their shop.

Good resort overall. There are no ocean view room options and you might be walking up to 10 minutes to the beach from the furthest buildings. I don't believe it's a true 5 star resort. We got rooms that were about 3.5 star resort type and went to speak to the front after which we got a much better room for a small fee. Food options and restaurants were good with good service, but we waiting few times up to an hour to get a table. Buffet is fair and shorter wait. Prices in the local convenience store are ridicolus. Spray sun screen was $32 USD lol, about 4x mark-up, bring your own. There were 4 weddings during our 7 day stay. So, if you are not a picky eater, ok to wait here and there and ok to get around 10k steps a day you will enjoy this resort. It's 4 star for me comparing to other 5 stars I've been to like Bahia.

We enjoyed our six-night stay at The Fives Beach & Residences. We stayed in a two-bedroom suite as we are a family of six. We appreciated that the suite had balconies. We liked the location of our suite (villa nine) -- next time I think I'd ask for a ground level suite facing a pool and I might ask for one of the newer buildings as the original villas are a bit dated now. We really enjoyed the pools at the resort and also our time on the beach. It's fun to walk along the sand and check out the beachfront of other hotels -- I like that the beach is very open. The hotel restaurants are mostly good, with, very importantly, attention to food safety -- nobody in our party got sick (and you do hear a lot of food sickness stories from Mexico lately). We did a snorkel express excursion to the nearby reef and were treated so well by the guides. I would recommend this resort to families with a range of ages -- it was good for our children and teens. Pluses: lots of pool/beach towels available, friendly staff, beautiful pools.

I stayed here with 7 girlfriends to celebrate a birthday from February 5-12. This resort was amazing - the best one I have ever visited! I would recommend it to all ages, there was something for everyone to do. Many options for food (there could have been more buffet choices, but the a la Carte restaurants were all delicious), the beach was relaxing but with a fun pool nearby. There were multiple pools near each villa to choose from - if you wanted something quiet or more of a party vibe, The Fives offered it all. Each villa has an ambassador that is very easy to find each day - our ambassadors Ricardo and Edgar went above and beyond each day. They helped with our restaurant reservations, stocking our fridge and even had balloons delivered for the birthday girl. The staff throughout the resort were all so helpful and cheerful. Big shout out to Ivan, Luigi, Barnabe and Adriana to name a few! The staff that greeted us upon arrival and helped us check-out were all very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. There was a leak outside of our hotel room - really it was the only negative thing about the room. We loved how spacious and quiet our room was. There was an issue with our shower and getting hot water took a little while, but other than that, we loved it all. As for the leak, we reported it, and each day staff cleaned up after it and we received an email update about the status of it, which we appreciated. Overall a wonderful experience, I'll visit again!

Check in was a breeze! Our room was ready when we got there. Some of the staff were especially awesome, like Eric at the front, Isaac on the transportation carts, and Antonio in Arezzo. They were all 5 stars. The pros of our stay are the service from the above mentioned, the food at Arezzo, not needing reservations for dinner, and the spacious rooms. The cons are that the shuttle ended three buildings from where we were, the elevator didn't work for five of our seven day trip and we were on the fourth floor, the fridge was never restocked, the maid never left facial towels even after we asked, the beds were made daily but they didn't clean the room, the locks on the doors didn't work so the Coati let themselves in. The defecated all over the floor and the sofas of the penthouse one evening, got into one of the beds in the small room, and went through the make up bags in the other. Flavors had good food in the morning, but not equipped for so many people, so a lot of the options were scarce, including playes and cutlery. Burgers and pizza at the beach were great. Italian was the best. We ate there 6 nights and the food or Antonio never disappointed. The weather was windy all week, which drove the seaweed to the beach but the staff were constantly at it, doing their best to keep it clean. We spent our days at the beach pool. The staff there would remove our towels from our chairs if we left for lunch. The trip was ok. I wouldn't return. There's better for less money.

Everything was lovely except for our room and Expedia VIP status. ROOM: we stayed in the older units between the Lobby and the beach. It was very spacious, but the room was very dated and in need of an upgrade. The air con was not working properly, switched off constantly, didn't function at all for a day and a half, and when it was working the room temp never dropped below 23. The bed was rock hard, the room always had a toilet smell, and there were only two channels we could get in English, CNN and Fox news. We also had a ground floor unit and the patio doors did not have locks on them initially – these were fixed quickly though. And there was a power outage for several hours on our last night there. EXPEDIA VIP STATUS: Despite the hotel being an Expedia VIP hotel they did not seem to understand what perks Expedia VIP guests were entitled to. They claimed to have no knowledge of my status, nor ability to see it online. Even when I sent them my booking which clearly called out my status and perks they said they would not honour it. Late check out is supposed to be free if available for VIP guests – but they told me we could not have a late check out unless we paid $20 USD per hour. They also told me we could not get a free room upgrade – but we could do so if we paid for it. I was told at check in though that they would give me a $150 USD resort credit because we booked through Expedia, but then at check out it was not on our bill and they claimed that they don’t offer this.

After making a reservation at the Fives months ago, and checking in online 48 hours prior, we show up and were told that the resort is "overbooked" and that we will be moved to their sister resort Generations Maya Riviera. The concierge left us with his email and told us that we could return in four days if we didn't like Generations and we would be compensated for how ever many nights we didn't get to stay at the Fives Resort for a future stay. Victor Quintana never responded to our emails and when we tried to calling back to confirm that we could return for the last few days of our trip the resort said that they were still overbooked and that we couldn't come back. We asked if we could talk a manager and were hung-up on. We called again and were told that they don't have managers there. We contacted Expedia for assistance with reaching out to the resort to at least get the compensation that we were promised and the resort told them that they have a no refund policy and there was nothing they were willing to offer us. We ended up paying full price for the Fives but stayed at a lesser resort that was farther away from everything we had planned to do so it ended up costing even more time and money. We are extremely dissatisfied with the customer service at the Fives. Its disappointing to have spent several days researching resorts in the area to plan our trip only to be relocated upon arrival.

The Hotel and the staff on the actual property that helped with food and cleanliness was good this was my second time back to this hotel since the first time wen great as well . The main problem I had with this last visit was my transportation that was supposed to be provided by the hotel since I paid for the package of transportation for arrival and departure to the hotel with the lady of the name Sarahi Camargo, I was provided with the arrival transportation but when it came the time to leave they never provided transportation for the departure to the airport and since she never provided for the time I gave her I had to pay again even more for a taxi last minute to take me to the airport. Then once I contacted her after my trip was over for atleast a refund of the transportation, she sent me a fake refund receipt and I never received my refund. Therefore since I was very disappointed in how I was treated by her me and my fiancée don’t think we will be returning in May for our honeymoon

The property was beautiful with reference to the outdoor environment, nature, the natural habitat and maintenance of it you can tell they are very clean. However the overall experience was poor, the lack of communication, the food is horrible, the process for scheduling for reservation a total mess everything has to be done through the ambassador who messed up on two occasions, restaurant assume we were lying and wouldn’t service us stating that they couldn’t accommodate 2 people when clearly that restaurant was not even half full. The communication with reception who directed us back to the ambassador for our concerns because it was out of their hands what kind of customer service is that and the food it’s not cooked by no chef the best is breakfast and those cooks that make those yummy scrambled eggs and the pizza makers by the beach and pool but everything else is like vague and general. They should have a Mexican section at all times in the restaurant we are in Mexico and not these simple everyday vegetables and fruits. I believe they had tacos but in the morning so it’s a bit confusing at least I don’t like tacos in the morning and the rooms step it up a notch barely any decorations the signs look like a child painted blocks on a canvas and the room view totally blocked by the huge trees they should touch it up in a way that we can see something but it’s nothing but branches and trees.

There is a lot they can improve on we were very unhappy with a lot of things considering we are very easy going people. You have to pay extra for a decent coffee, room service has a delivery charge, if you want to use the day beds it’s 200.00 cad a day, you have to pay for ice cream at the ice cream shop. If you want to book a restaurant for dinner you must do it through your hotel ambassador, if can find them. You can only book dinner for the night of and the night after and then you have to find them again in order to keep booking every two days but they will try and con you into booking a “tour” of the hotel and sell you things in order to book the dinners for the whole week. They are constantly trying to get you to spend more money. There was no hot water this isn’t usually a big deal to us but considering everything else it adds up. It was our honey moon and they put us a room with two double beds that was a conjoined room and soo loud you can hear the other rooms Tv as if it was in your room.

I have now stayed here twice and both times have been beyond exceptional! The food at this resort makes you feel like you’re truly somewhere magical! The staff is very kind and attentive. The only downside is waiting for a shuttle to get places since the resort is so big, but it was typically only about a 10-15 minute wait. Can’t wait to come back!

Large beautiful resort with a very friendly staff. The Italian restaurant ,Arezzo, was our favorite upscale restaurant but the best food all around was the Natura Day Club by the adult only pool. For us, the buffet was very lackluster. There was no daily offerings of ceviche or guacamole which the other resorts we’ve stayed at seemed to offer and it’s one of our favorite parts of visiting in Mexican influenced countries. The only other thing we disliked is that anytime you wanted to go to another area of the town to shop or explore, it was an expensive cab ride. It would be great if there were shuttles to take guests to shopping areas etc.

Like the options in room types and the staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. Did not like that it was far from the beach and usually used the shuttle also there were too many day beds blocking the view of the beach or pool. Also, seemed to be a lot on construction noise during the day

Stayed in building 8 and had short walk to nearby restaurant, Lizzards, and was less than 3 minute walk to plaza where the shops, spa, and other dining options were. Walk to beach was longer, probably 7-8 minutes, so getting a shuttle ride was best. Shuttles were supposed to be on a 10 minute rotation but a lot of times the carts were full and we ended up having to walk anyways. Food options were good but it is important to be an epic/vip member to be able to make reservations. If you don’t make reservations you should arrive at the restaurant you want to eat at by 5:30 pm. Showing up between 6-8 would result in hour plus wait times. Overall, the resort was beautiful, staff were wonderful and helpful, beach was gorgeous. We had a wonderful time and would do it again.

My family and I stayed for about a week In September. Pros: spacious rooms, great service from staff, food, pool areas, beach area. Cons: all inclusive did not apply to some options like the ice cream shop, room service also a had a fee, incorrect food opening options (some restaurants were never open), while others had long waits. We stayed in the large penthouse. The room had a kitchen but no kitchen utensils. Or napkins. We had a microwave but was told we couldn’t bring food from the restaurants. Why even have the microwave?? Overall. I’d visit again.

Good resort overall. There are no ocean view room options and you might be walking up to 10 minutes to the beach from the furthest buildings. I don't believe it's a true 5 star resort. We got rooms that were about 3.5 star resort type and went to speak to the front after which we got a much better room for a small fee. Food options and restaurants were good with good service, but we waiting few times up to an hour to get a table. Buffet is fair and shorter wait. Prices in the local convenience store are ridicolus. Spray sun screen was $32 USD lol, about 4x mark-up, bring your own. There were 4 weddings during our 7 day stay. So, if you are not a picky eater, ok to wait here and there and ok to get around 10k steps a day you will enjoy this resort. It's 4 star for me comparing to other 5 stars I've been to like Bahia.

We enjoyed our six-night stay at The Fives Beach & Residences. We stayed in a two-bedroom suite as we are a family of six. We appreciated that the suite had balconies. We liked the location of our suite (villa nine) -- next time I think I'd ask for a ground level suite facing a pool and I might ask for one of the newer buildings as the original villas are a bit dated now. We really enjoyed the pools at the resort and also our time on the beach. It's fun to walk along the sand and check out the beachfront of other hotels -- I like that the beach is very open. The hotel restaurants are mostly good, with, very importantly, attention to food safety -- nobody in our party got sick (and you do hear a lot of food sickness stories from Mexico lately). We did a snorkel express excursion to the nearby reef and were treated so well by the guides. I would recommend this resort to families with a range of ages -- it was good for our children and teens. Pluses: lots of pool/beach towels available, friendly staff, beautiful pools.

Wonderful resort with excellent services. Many dining options. Pools everywhere. The natural setting is fantastic, your can observe monkeys and other animals in their natural habitat. A trip to paradise!!!

The resort was absolutely beautiful! So much foliage, flowers, plants and very well kept. We just loved walking everywhere and enjoying the beauty. There were occasionally monkeys swinging in the trees as well as Ciota- an animal I've never seen before. There were multiple pools with the biggest one being by the beach. Big area to sit on the beach. Unfortunately there was constantly seaweed at the waters edge. Everyday there were multiple workers hauling away wheelbarrow after wheelbarrow full. The water was still beautiful and you were able to go in if you wanted. Food was good especially the Italian restaurant. Drinks were good even if not strong. They ran out of pina coladas for 2 days which really was surprising and disappointing. Rooms were huge and clean- the rooms did have a slight musty smell. I would highly recommend staying here and can't wait to go back

Facilities are falling apart, food is bad. Staff are very very friendly. Food made most of our vacation party sick (writing this currently sick) there are significantly better all inclusives for a much better price all around. Again not the staffs fault but the property owners…

I have to say this property is absolutely beautiful. We went Monday - Friday and it wasn't too crowded. The staff was amazing and the rooms were clean, modern, and comfy. Then there is the serious restaurant situation at this resort. You can't get in most places without extreme wait times. The restaurant information on the website is inaccurate. Club members can make reservations so tables sit empty in every restaurant for dinner. The first night we walked into the Sea Olive early and luckily managed to get a table. The food was excellent. The second night we waited 2 hours for a table at Mestizo even though there were many empty tables. The food was excellent but not worth the wait. The third night we arrived late after an excursion and situation was the same - 2 to 2.5 hour waits. So we ate street tacos in the plaza while sitting on the wet ground. There is very limited seating. The fourth night we didn't risk it so, at 5:00 pm, so we sat by the door of Arezzo - which opens at 5:30 pm. Truly excellent food. Recommendations: Either eat brunch or have an early breakfast and a light lunch. (By the beach there are street tacos, burgers, and Meulle Ocho for excellent ceviche.) Then wait by the door of the restaurant you've chosen for dinner at 5:00 pm. My husband got sick and need something easy to eat mid-afternoon. All the restaurants were closed and room service had a 1.5 hour wait. Luckily the shop had crackers and electrolyte solution. We won't be returning.

Great resort, friendly staff and great food options. Because it was low season, not every restaurant was open every night and they don’t take reservations so you have to wait a bit. But otherwise it was a great vacation

Nice resort, well maintained but they have a serious issue with the restaurants at night. Either you have to line up at 4:30 to join the waiting list at one of the restaurants, or wait 2hours to get a table. Either of which I dont want to do on a vacation. And the members jump ahead of you on the queue. Ended up going to Playa del Carmen for dinner on the last night as couldnt face the stress of another 2hour wait with 3 kids

The Bad: The transportation to and from the airport isn’t included in stay. The children’s food options are not great. It’s not all inclusive they like to offer you things not included so they can charge you. Some restaurants are not included and some bars are not included so be mindful. You have to make restaurant reservations ahead of time and are rude about walkins. There seems to be a lot of weddings and they close parts of the resort for them. including access to the only store in the resort. At the restaurants it’s hard to get good service getting refills are hard. The Good: The resort is beautiful and well kept. The staff is friendly. All areas are kept clean! The rooms are spacious (we had a 2br suite). The resort is kid friendly! Great for families. They do have several activities and things to do. The beach is well kept and gorgeous!

The property is very pretty. The staff was super friendly. The only drawback was that it was difficult to get into the resturants (vs. the buffet) as they do not take reservations (except the italian place which was very good). So they give you a pager when you sign in and you wait. One night we waited 2 1/2 hours. We found out that residence owners go ahead of everyone else.

The reason I am so upset is because the staff would each tell us different things contradicting each other. I asked about my benefits and the lady said that wasn’t something they offered I showed her my booking confirmation and what it said she said she they didn’t do that. I expressed at the hotel how unhappy we were and there was minimal to no effort to make it better. I was also so disappointed that there wasn’t more authentic food I couldn’t even find TAKIS which are literally Mexican chips what they did have were Lays and Doritos. The food did not taste good at all. I think the best restaurant that they had was the sushi one. Luckily, I have an aunt that lives in Mexico and she dropped off some actual Mexican food for us and that was the best meal we had. I don’t know. I just think it’s funny how you’re in Mexico and the food is all American nice like I did not feel like I was in a Mexican resort. I felt like I was at a fancy hotel in America so that was kind of sad because I felt like it robbed me from my Mexican experience.

Giving the resort a 5 because of its rating based on being a 4.5 star hotel! The food choices were AWESOME! There were maybe a few items I didn’t LOVE, but overall I loved most of the food. There’s tons of food options (they make fresh tacos and pizza right in front of you by the pool as well) and the resturaunts and the service and staff are excellent which made our stay the best and the drinks were good as well! What influences my rating most is how much there is to do! The hotel always has events and fun things planned so you never get bored (silent disco, pool foam parties, big fiesta brunches, casino nights etc) and it’s super lively day and night and family friendly. We went as a childless young couple and still had an amazing time. The negatives: the beach isn’t the BEST beach, they did an amazing job cleaning up the seaweed during seaweed season and the water was gorgeous, but it’s not the best beach in my opinion but the infinity pool overlooking it made up for that. The resturaunts sometimes had long wait times but at an all inclusive, makes sense. Overall, we will be returning to the fives!

The property is nice and kept clean. It's a lot bigger then you think. Pools are nice on site and everyone is friendly. The food we had was very good. The only negative is they don't take reservations. People lined up early for specific restaurants.
