We stayed here for 3 nights, finding it is a bit tricky due to Maps not being accurate but once we did we were very pleased with everything. The staff is very friendly and the owner and the lady at the front desk are extremely tending. Our room was very nice and although it didn’t have a TV (like all the other rooms) we found ourselves rarely finding a need for one since you’ll be out and about for most of your stay. The breakfast was so good and is included, the parking is closed at night so your car or rental is secured through the night. 10/10 would come again.

Excellent accueil de la part du personnel de la réception qui nous a donné de nombreux conseils de visites. Les salles d’eau des bungalows sont toutefois très vétustes (murs moisis par l’humidité, tachés, robinetterie piquée et une odeur nauséabonde provient de la douche et du lavabo. L’eau de la piscine était trouble, nous n’avons pas voulu nous y baigner, les chaises de la terrasse étaient rouillées. Petit-déjeuner léger.

Estás cabañas son muy bellas, tienen todo lo que necesitas para descansar cómodo. La cama es muy amplia y cómoda. Y las amenidades de la habitación así como la decoración te hacen sentir en casa. El personal es muy amable para darnos recomendaciones y pedirnos taxis. La alberca y alrededor son muy bonitas aunque el agua está un poco fría. Solo el detalle del olor a drenaje en el baño fue un detalle que resolvimos con inciensos. El desayuno abundante y muy rico. El lugar ideal y seguro para conocer Bacalar y alrededores por varios días

Buena atención del dueño, el señor Jose Luis, el establecimiento esta igual que en la fotos, los desayunos que incluye estan buenos, las regaderas tienen agua caliente, solo un pequeñisimo detalle el agua de la alberca esta muy fría pero en general todo muy bien. El centro en carro esta como a 5 min, caminando unos 20, esta muy tranquilo. Sin duda volveriamos.

Desde que llegas se siente la tranquilidad del lugar, además de la atención de todo el personal. De los pocos hoteles con alberca, habitaciones tipo cabañas modernas y un restaurante que de verdad vale la pena, recomendada su pizza al horno!! Gracias por esta increíble experiencia!!

Across the street from the lake. Lovely spot, clean, and has a great breakfast. The staff is so kind. I was tired when I arrived, and the pool wasn't open. I was hot and disappointed and let it be known. It was beyond the call of duty, but they compensated me with a day-pass at a resort across the street. I had a delightful stay.

Tuve una experiencia genial al hospedarme en estas lindas cabañas, desde la ubicación, limpieza, servicio hasta el desayuno. Es una maravilla que tiene alberca, así que puedes disfrutar el día ahí sin tener que ir a algún beach club. El lugar es muy tranquilo y muy bien ubicado, puedes ir caminando tanto restaurantes, el pequeño centro o a la laguna. Siempre estuvieron al pendiente de lo que necesitara y me ofrecieron opciones para que mi estadía fuera muy placentera. Sin duda regresaré y también a su opción en la Laguna. Muchas gracias!

Very cute place with great staff and owners. The breakfast included was amazing. We were a little disappointed that there was no refrigerator in the room and the bathroom had an intense, unpleasant odor. We expected the lake to be closer based on the description, but overall, a great stay.

El lugar es increíble. Las habitaciones son muy acogedoras y modernas. La limpieza es espectacular y la atención uff!!! El señor José Luis, el administrador, es la persona más amable del mundo. La atención es personalizada y siempre se está atento a las necesidades del husped. Es realmente increíble el lugar!!!!!

It was an unique experience at the Zensus hotel. We had a very clean and cozy cabin in the middle of the nature. The bed was great and there was good airconditioning. Also the shower was perfect. Waking up with the sounds of the animals was fantastic. There are a lot of things to do with the Lago Bacalar in front of the hotel. The neighbourhood is very safe and you can park your car at the hotel. The breakfast was delicious, fresh and homemade. We wanted one day the breakfast a little earlier and that was no problem. Really enjoyed it. Last but not least, owner and host Jose Luis. I can't remember a more friendly person in my life. He did everything for us and gave advise about everything. Always in for a chat. His last words to us were: 'I will miss you guys." So we do two, but we will come back for sure.

Es como una villa colonial caribeña. Sus cabañas son sencillas y confortables. Baño amplio y cómodo, al igual que su terraza. Ideal para descansar e ir en plan relajado. Bueno, creo que pocos van a Bacalar con otro plan que no sea ese. Lo mejor: la atención de Inés, en recepción y de José Luis y Laura, entre otros. Magníficos anfitriones. Te hacen sentir cómo en casa. El desayuno en el restaurant, muy rico y el lugar también muy agradable. Las áreas comunes, con una jardinería muy adecuada y cuidada. Invitados a volver, indiscutiblemente.

Tuve una estadía increíble. El destacado fue el servicio del equipo del hotel, siempre atentos para dar recomendaciones, solicitar taxis y, en general, muy amables. Estuve viajando sola y me sentí muy acogida. Las instalaciones también están súper lindas, todas las habitaciones con vista a la piscina. ¡Sin duda, volvería!

I thought the place was quite, off the beaten path, yet close enough to the center, with nearby restaurants and also Cenote Azul. Plus it was comfortable and pleasant. It’s true to photos and description. The host, Jose Luis was so gracious and bent over backwards to accommodate our every want and need. Breakfast is delicious and filling.

Really good place and quiet and peaceful The installation are great and simple. Few kilometer from downtown so if you like to walk, it will be perfect. The host is great and really want you have good time. If you need help, he will be there for you. I really recommend it.

Es la segunda vez que nos hospedamos ahí, es muy tranquilo, sin ruido y cerca de clubes de laguna y del acceso al muelle público. Las instalaciones son como se ve en las fotos, un lugar muy bonito, perfecto para descansar y disfrutar de Bacalar. José Luis es un excelente anfitrión.

We stayed here for 3 nights, finding it is a bit tricky due to Maps not being accurate but once we did we were very pleased with everything. The staff is very friendly and the owner and the lady at the front desk are extremely tending. Our room was very nice and although it didn’t have a TV (like all the other rooms) we found ourselves rarely finding a need for one since you’ll be out and about for most of your stay. The breakfast was so good and is included, the parking is closed at night so your car or rental is secured through the night. 10/10 would come again.

I thought the place was quite, off the beaten path, yet close enough to the center, with nearby restaurants and also Cenote Azul. Plus it was comfortable and pleasant. It’s true to photos and description. The host, Jose Luis was so gracious and bent over backwards to accommodate our every want and need. Breakfast is delicious and filling.

I am so sorry but I am not gable to remember the ladies name that checked us in but she was so helpful and so animated with her stories on what to do and where to go. She was just wonderful. There was another very kind and helpful person by the name of Jose! This man was extremely friendly and always asked up how our sleep was and how are mornings and evening were going. He even gave me the fan from him own room! Great place with amazing staff!

Buena atención del dueño, el señor Jose Luis, el establecimiento esta igual que en la fotos, los desayunos que incluye estan buenos, las regaderas tienen agua caliente, solo un pequeñisimo detalle el agua de la alberca esta muy fría pero en general todo muy bien. El centro en carro esta como a 5 min, caminando unos 20, esta muy tranquilo. Sin duda volveriamos.

Across the street from the lake. Lovely spot, clean, and has a great breakfast. The staff is so kind. I was tired when I arrived, and the pool wasn't open. I was hot and disappointed and let it be known. It was beyond the call of duty, but they compensated me with a day-pass at a resort across the street. I had a delightful stay.

Tuve una experiencia genial al hospedarme en estas lindas cabañas, desde la ubicación, limpieza, servicio hasta el desayuno. Es una maravilla que tiene alberca, así que puedes disfrutar el día ahí sin tener que ir a algún beach club. El lugar es muy tranquilo y muy bien ubicado, puedes ir caminando tanto restaurantes, el pequeño centro o a la laguna. Siempre estuvieron al pendiente de lo que necesitara y me ofrecieron opciones para que mi estadía fuera muy placentera. Sin duda regresaré y también a su opción en la Laguna. Muchas gracias!

Really good place and quiet and peaceful The installation are great and simple. Few kilometer from downtown so if you like to walk, it will be perfect. The host is great and really want you have good time. If you need help, he will be there for you. I really recommend it.

Excellent accueil de la part du personnel de la réception qui nous a donné de nombreux conseils de visites. Les salles d’eau des bungalows sont toutefois très vétustes (murs moisis par l’humidité, tachés, robinetterie piquée et une odeur nauséabonde provient de la douche et du lavabo. L’eau de la piscine était trouble, nous n’avons pas voulu nous y baigner, les chaises de la terrasse étaient rouillées. Petit-déjeuner léger.

Estás cabañas son muy bellas, tienen todo lo que necesitas para descansar cómodo. La cama es muy amplia y cómoda. Y las amenidades de la habitación así como la decoración te hacen sentir en casa. El personal es muy amable para darnos recomendaciones y pedirnos taxis. La alberca y alrededor son muy bonitas aunque el agua está un poco fría. Solo el detalle del olor a drenaje en el baño fue un detalle que resolvimos con inciensos. El desayuno abundante y muy rico. El lugar ideal y seguro para conocer Bacalar y alrededores por varios días

Desde que llegas se siente la tranquilidad del lugar, además de la atención de todo el personal. De los pocos hoteles con alberca, habitaciones tipo cabañas modernas y un restaurante que de verdad vale la pena, recomendada su pizza al horno!! Gracias por esta increíble experiencia!!
