Todo me gusto! quede muy satisfecha por la atención del personal, las instalaciones son muy bonitas, acogedoras, hay espacio. Lo único que no me gusto es que el agua de la alberca esta helada, deberían ponerle calefacción, el jacuzzi está increíble!

Unfortunately, I messed the booking up so we ended up in garden rooms rather than the lagoon rooms which meant we didnt get the experience we were hoping for. Staff very friendly and helpful, and great location plus free use of kayaks etc. Maybe not as much access to swings, hammocks, etc as we'd thought, and noticeable road noise; but, again, we were expecting to have dedicated seating and lagoon access. Marginal price difference between rooms so go for lagoon cottages. Hotel automatically adds service charge even if you leave staff a tip which is a bit naughty.

We had a great stay in Rancho Encantado. It is surrounded by nature (trees, plants, water, ...), so relaxing! There's even a jacuzzi which is actually very warm, perfect to kick back and relax. We used the free kayaks and paddle boards, went for a Laguna tour organized by the hotel. The restaurant is facing the water, just perfect !

We had a great stay in Rancho Encantado. It is surrounded by nature (trees, plants, water, ...), so relaxing! There's even a jacuzzi which is actually very warm, perfect to kick back and relax. We used the free kayaks and paddle boards, went for a Laguna tour organized by the hotel. The restaurant is facing the water, just perfect !

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und es gab eine kleine Tour durch die Anlage. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und schön hergerichtet. Die Speisen im Restaurant sind sehr lecker und die Preise nicht überrissen. Der Zugang zur Lagune ist problemlos über mehrere Treppen möglich. Kayak und SUP können kostenlos geliehen werden ( ab 6 Uhr ) Sehr empfehlenswert*

Right on the water with a view of the lake from our bed. The wifi and air conditioning worked well. Our daughter really enjoyed the hot tub and swimming pool. Definitely take the boat ride with Santo, he’ll bring you to 5 different spots two of them you can swim in. The restaurant is ok but it’s nothing to write home about. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. We rented a car and drove into the town of bacalar ,which is like 5 minutes away, and spent the day looking at an old fort and eating foods. My family and I had a great time.

El lugar es muy lindo, pero el servicio al cliente deja mucho que desear, varias veces no encontrábamos a quien solicitarle servicios y no estan al pendiente en la zona de alberca, ni muelle, debíamos andar buscando a los meseros, se nos descompuso el aire acondicionado y nos pusimos en contacto con recepción y nos dijeron que irían hasta el otro día a revisar, porque no era horario de atención y todo la noche la pasamos sin aire, en cuestión de alimentos, también les falta un poco, tienen cosas ricas, pero otras les falta mucho sabor. En cuanto a limpieza les falta poner mas atención al momento de limpiar las habitaciónes, dejaban basura y no limpiaban adecuadamente.

Nos dieron una habitación infestada de ciempiés, pedí ayuda y nos ofrecieron fumigar (a las 10pm y con un bebé) o cambiarnos y lo pedimos otra habitación. Nos dijeron que eso era “normal” de ese lado del hotel. Muy ma por dar a los huéspedes una habitación que saben que tiene eso. Las camas estaban llenas de ciempiés, todo el piso, los muebles, el baño, todo. Nos dieron una habitación interior pero dijeron que “era lo mismo”. Nunca nos atendió ni el gerente ni el concierge. Además no quisieron facturar alegando que es la página aunque en otros hoteles del mismo viaje si lo facturaron.

Personnel de réception pas très agréable notre chambre bungalow sur lagon présente une forte odeur de canalisation nous l avons signalé et la personne de la réception disait ne rien sentir et n a rien fait Nous sommes arrivés 45 minutes avant le chef it la chambre était faite mais il nous ont fait attendre 16h heure tardive pour accéder à une chambre après un long voyage Piscine gelé et surtout vous n êtes pas du bon côté de la lagune si vous recherchez une eau transparente il faut prendre un hôtel plus au sud de bacalar Rapport qualité prix pas à la hauteur vraiment déçu de l accueil et des infrastructures pour le prix

The hotel is quiet, and the setting is very relaxing. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Although the mattress was a bit hard. The gardens are beautiful and well-maintained. If you are reserving with Expedia, make sure to call the property to check if your lagoon view room is downstairs or upstairs. The downstairs ones have their own private mini-deck.

Bel endroit dans la nature . Personnel très agréable et sympathique aussi bien à l’accueil qu’au restaurant. Tour en bateau sur la lagune possible depuis l’hôtel. Guide super qui parle plusieurs langues dont le français . Restaurant sur place très bon et pas excessif. On a eu la chance de voir dans les arbres de l’hôtel des singes hurleurs et des petits écureuils. Lit pour 2 personnes petit. Et pas de télé dans la chambre .

Bel endroit dans la nature . Personnel très agréable et sympathique aussi bien à l’accueil qu’au restaurant. Tour en bateau sur la lagune possible depuis l’hôtel. Établissement au bord du lagon avec accès privé, certaines chambres ont même un accès personnel. Ce que je pourrais reprocher, c’est les bus entier de touristes qui arrivent à l’heure du repas pendant que vous êtes tranquillement au bord de la piscine… À refaire, je choisirais un établissement plus petit. Les chambres sont confortables avec terrasse, mais quand même Plutôt vieillissant. Très compliqué de communiquer avec le personnel qui ne parle pas un mot d’anglais.

Établissement au bord du lagon avec accès privé, certaines chambres ont même un accès personnel. Ce que je pourrais reprocher, c’est les bus entier de touristes qui arrivent à l’heure du repas pendant que vous êtes tranquillement au bord de la piscine… À refaire, je choisirais un établissement plus petit. Hermoso Hotel, superó mis expectativas! Es un lugar maravilloso, la atención del personal excelente… las habitaciones con vista a la Laguna son lo máximo! Súper limpias y muy espaciosas. La cocina es buenísima, no hay necesidad de ir a otro lado a desayunar, comer o cenar. Disfrutamos el recorrido en Bote que fue una maravilla. Realmente pasamos una estancia increíble.

I didn't like the strictness about the check-in time, not allowing the guest into the room until 4pm, even if the room was already available. In many case, I was there for only one day and I had some work to do, so this useless wait was very irritating.

Deberían tener cuidado y checar las reservaciones de expedía. No querían hacer válido el bono VIP y comentaron que no estaba pagada la reserva. Al mandar la confirmación de expedía lo respetaron. Un poco lento el servicio y falta de mantenimiento en los cuartos . Sin embargo es un bonito hotel y cómodo para viajes en familia con niños .

There is no better location on the lake, especially if you rent a waterfront cabana with stairs leading directly into the water! Magical location a few miles out of town for those of us who don’t like noisy bars and street traffic. Attentive, friendly staff. Awesome swimming and views. Functioning AC. Pleasant, reasonably priced restaurant right overlooking the water. Truly a gem of a hotel. The rooms are spacious, simple, yet very clean and architecturally soothing. Elegant simplicity sums it up!

Solo tienen un restaurante, pero la comida deliciosa. El personal muy amable. Está un poco retirado del pueblo para ir caminando al centro, pero en taxi está a 15 minutos. Hay que llevar algo contra los piquetes de mosquitos y bichitos. Y no tienen tiendita donde poder comprar un snack, así que llévalos. Por lo demás, todo bien.

Es de los hoteles más grandes de Bacalar, que conservan la flora del lugar. La ubicación del hotel es de la mejores, yo estaba decidiendo entre este y el Mia, la sorpresa fue que están uno a lado del otro por lo que la zona de la laguna es la misma. Si bien es cierto que están “alejados” del centro de Bacalar es un viaje en taxi de 7 min, caminado es una hora. Es un lugar para ir a relajarte, ya que no hay ruido, no hay televisión, pero si hay wifi. En cuanto a la comida su restaurante tiene algunas opciones, la comida es buena, sin embargo el tiempo de espera para que te lleven los platillos excede los 35 minutos, por lo que debes tener mucha paciencia. En mi visita hubo platillos que ofrecían en la carta pero nunca estuvieron disponibles. El mismo hotel ofrece opciones de tours para conocer la laguna y sus alrededores, en mi opinión son muy accesibles, ya que te evitas el andar buscando o moverte a otro lugar para hacer algún tour, ya que tienen muelle propio y lanchas. La habitación que me tocó estaba genial ya que tenía su propia entrada a la laguna con sus propios camastros y terraza para descansar y estar por tu lado. Lo que sí debe considerar el hotel es que sus almohadas son muy duras, sus colchones igual, en un lugar que se busca descansar es indispensable que el lugar donde se duerme sea el más cómodo ya que eso arruina por completo la experiencia ya que uno amanece con dolor de cuello o de espalda. En términos simples el hotel es “bueno” y la laguna es bella.
