El deck para acceder a la laguna y la vista desde ella fue increíble. Sin duda estamos pensando en volver a Bacalar y nos hospedaremos nuevamente con ellos.

This hotel is absolutely amazing. Peaceful, wonderful service, and dock access to the lake with comfortable chairs. The restaurant was wonderful and all the staff were lovely. Bonus is that the hotel lets your borrow kayaks and paddle boards!

Beautiful new (one year old) hotel. Many other waterfront hotels are not aging well. Well maintained. Helpful friendly staff. Room service by request or towel renewal only by request. Excellent AC but need to request day/night changes. Lots of lounges around two pools and docks over water. Good restaurant but music was very loud for dinner ambience. 30 minute walk or inexpensive taxi to town center. SUGGESTION: need a water refill unit (at reception) to reduce plastic bottle usage.

I did three different resorts at three different cities. Bacalar Playa Del Carmen and Cancun. My favorite resort was Cristalino by far. The front desk were so nice very kind great service and always smiling. The food was cultural and very delicious. The view you get while eating at the restaurant on site is the best! The pool was warm so when it was chilly it was great. The lagoon view from my room was great. The house keepers were great! They left my room spotless every time. The transportation was easy they order you a taxi, with in 5 to 10 minutes he was outside. The room service was fast and easy, your food was in your room with in 20 to 25 minutes. Close to the city but far enough for it to be peaceful and quite. I recommend this place 5 out of 5.

A Experience at Cristalino – The Best Hotel in Bacalar! Cristalino exceeded all my expectations! From the moment we arrived, the customer service at check-in and in the restaurant was outstanding. The hotel is safe, quiet, and incredibly relaxing, making it the perfect getaway. The rooms were comfortable, the food was excellent, and the overall atmosphere was just what we were looking for. One of the highlights was the easy access to the water—you can literally walk in and reach a boat tour hotspot. Plus, they provide kayaks, which made exploring the lagoon even more enjoyable. We didn’t know it at first, but this property actually sits on one of the seven cenotes in the Bacalar Lagoon, which made our stay even more special. The location is also ideal—just a short 5-minute drive to the center of Bacalar, where you’ll find great restaurants and shopping. I was told multiple times that this is the best hotel in Bacalar, and they absolutely delivered. I will definitely be returning!

This is one of the nicest small hotels we haved stayed at. The swimming in the lagoon was spectacular. The pool was refreshing. The food was very good. The staff throughout the whole hotel was excellent. There is a coffee maker in the room BUT they charge for the coffee pods. The only thing I would request is that the coffee is included in the price of the room. If you are looking for the best hotel on Lake Bacalar, look no further.

Our stay at Cristalino Lagoon Front Hotel Restaurant & SPA was absolutely wonderful. The property is stunning, with breathtaking views of the lagoon that create a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The rooms were way better than expected — cozy and nice. The A/C didn’t work properly, but overall, it was a good stay. The staff was friendly, though a bit bossy. They made us sign documents, followed up repeatedly via WhatsApp… I’m not sure what kind of guests they usually get that would justify this approach, but personally, I’m not used to being bossed around — and I didn’t enjoy that part at all.

This property and the service that we received were magnificent. The staff were glorious and attentive, with great amenities available. The spa only had one therapist so we had to stagger appointments, but not a big deal. We had some pool side snacks and ordered dinner from room service one night. The food & cocktails were spectacular. Very convenient to town, but also has everything you need. A few other resorts & restaurants are within walking distance as well. Property is new and clean. The beds were incredibly comfortable. Rooms were spacious & well designed, including rainfall shower, extra counter space, large balcony, great air con & hot water.

Tengan cuidado con este hotel. Terrible experiencia con el trato en este Hotel ya que con engaños nos robaron el dinero pagado por la estancia. Mi error, no haber leído la letra chiquita y llegue con un bebe de 1 año. Tenia reservadas dos habitaciones, en cuanto vieron al bebe, inició el mal trato, cortantes me dijeron que no aceptaban niños y que pidiera mi reembolso a Expedia, me retiraron el agua que me habían dado y me urgieron a irme. Tramite mi reembolso con Expedia y el hotel se negó a hacer la devolución de los 2,331.88 USD que pagué. No me regresaron un solo dólar, se robaron todo mi dinero.
Tengan cuidado con este hotel. Terrible experiencia con el trato en este Hotel ya que con engaños nos robaron el dinero pagado por la estancia. Tenia reservadas dos habitaciones, en cuanto vieron al bebe, inició el mal trato, cortantes me dijeron que no aceptaban niños y que pidiera mi reembolso a Expedia, me retiraron el agua que me habían dado y me urgieron a irme. Tramite mi reembolso con Expedia y el hotel se negó a hacer la devolución de los 2,331.88 USD que pagué. No me regresaron un solo dólar, se robaron todo mi dinero.

Everything was beautiful, the pools clean and warm, the food and service was incredible, great service. Betza at the front desk was very kind and helpful, the other person at the font desk when we were leaving not so much, kinda hostile and in bad mood.

The rooms were way better than expected — cozy and nice. The A/C didn’t work properly, but overall, it was a good stay. The staff was friendly, though a bit bossy. If I may share some honest feedback, I felt overwhelmed by the number of rules and restrictions. They made us sign documents, followed up repeatedly via WhatsApp… I’m not sure what kind of guests they usually get that would justify this approach, but personally, I’m not used to being bossed around — and I didn’t enjoy that part at all.

La ubicación es perfecta porque está al frente de la laguna en una zona donde es fácil nadar, además te dan paddleboards y kayak. El servicio es excelente porque crean un WhatsApp donde puedes escribirles 24 horas. La comida del restaurante es riquísima. Tienen que probar la hamburguesa smashed y el rissoto. Excelente atención de esperanza. Te llevan la comida y tragos al muelle. Todavía no tiene spa pero tendrá desde fines de octubre así que eso será un plus. Es relajante, no tiene discoteca ni bar con música pero creo que la vibra de Bacalar es así porque buscamos y no encontramos. Además te ayudan a contactar taxis y tours. No tienen tours propios pero nos ayudaron con todo. Volvería de todas maneras.

I did three different resorts at three different cities. Bacalar Playa Del Carmen and Cancun. My favorite resort was Cristalino by far. The front desk were so nice very kind great service and always smiling. The food was cultural and very delicious. The view you get while eating at the restaurant on site is the best! The pool was warm so when it was chilly it was great. The lagoon view from my room was great. The house keepers were great! They left my room spotless every time. The transportation was easy they order you a taxi, with in 5 to 10 minutes he was outside. The room service was fast and easy, your food was in your room with in 20 to 25 minutes. Close to the city but far enough for it to be peaceful and quite. I recommend this place 5 out of 5.

Lovely check-in service but involved a long contract of rules and threats of additional charges which made me anxious. Only given 1 plastic room key between the two of us and told we would be charged if it was lost. Didn’t love the restaurant food at all (seafood soup was akin to licking a salt block, avocado toast was on a soggy sweet bread). My husband’s rum and cola cost 400 pesos for 2 ounces of rum plus another 75 pesos for a little bit of coke (about $40 Canadian). The equivalent of buying a bottle of each.

Our stay at Cristalino Lagon Hotel was a very enjoyable experience. The Hotel Staff was amazing and got what ever we wanted immediately. The resturant was exceptional both in quality and service. The cleanliness in the rooms, the grounds, and property excelled. We were left believing people here really care about their guests.

Gorgeous hotel right on the lagoon. The staff were attentive and friendly. We enjoyed our stay. Only thing I would mention is they should have bikes to rent. We had to spend money on taxis every time we wanted to go to centro Bacalar. But other than that the stay was perfecto!

Excellent AC but need to request day/night changes. Lots of lounges around two pools and docks over water. Good restaurant but music was very loud for dinner ambience. 30 minute walk or inexpensive taxi to town center. SUGGESTION: need a water refill unit (at reception) to reduce plastic bottle usage.

What wonderful and pleasant location. Directly on the Lagoon and right next to Cenote Esmeralda. Restaurant serves excellent food and tasty drinks. Our room was wonderful. It was cleaned daily and turn down service was included. The staff greets you with genuine hospitality and are extremely helpful. The Centro (town) is only 1.6 miles away.

Christino Lagoon hotel is a wonderful hotel on an amazingly beautiful Lagoona. Netsed in tropicla vegetation the hotel provides a relaxed superior accomodation. It is a 30 min walk from town but I loved the secultion. The restaurant on site serves delicious food . it is a bit expansive but again the view while you eat is special. The staff is very sweet friendly and extremely accomodating. I must come back!

Lo que no me gustó fue el abuso del restaurante! Si pedías jugo te llenaban de hielo el vaso y tq quedaba un trago. Pedimos piñas coladas y no traían alcohol y nos las cobraron como si si tuvieran!

El hotel es muy lindo, la ubicación en la laguna es perfecta, el personal muy atento, lo único que lo demerita es su restaurante, la cocina no es rica, las porciones muy pequeñas y muy caro; nosotros solo lo probamos un día y con eso basto para salir a desayunar, comer, cenar fuera. Es una lastima, si no seria perfecto!

This is one of the nicest small hotels we haved stayed at. The swimming in the lagoon was spectacular. The pool was refreshing. The food was very good. The staff throughout the whole hotel was excellent. There is a coffee maker in the room BUT they charge for the coffee pods. The only thing I would request is that the coffee is included in the price of the room. If you are looking for the best hotel on Lake Bacalar, look no further.
