Stayed 1 night

A very unique place, great for relaxing. Some could use improvement, but for the price and location, it’s perfect. It’s worth mentioning that there’s no beach, but it’s a very nice spot to enjoy the ocean view. If I recall correctly, Maximo and Diana were excellent at welcoming us and providing great service. I would definitely go back.

Stayed 1 night

We knew this was going to a bit rough, and we chose it despite knowing that, because we attended a wedding at a resort and did not want to stay overnight there, so we just looked for a less expensive option to crash for one night. The expectation was (based on photos) that the please was going to be worn and dated, but what we did not expect was the odor (sewage? Dead fish?) that surrounded the property and permeated the room. This could be out of the hotel's control, but the dirt on the top sheet (sand?) and the hair on the pillows and under the pillows and the yellow stains on the sheets were a bit much. Slept with our clothes on, did not use the shower....no soaps or other toiletries were provided. Pool was open "24 hours" but faces the ferry dock and the SMELL out there was uninviting, to say the least. TV worked fine, AC worked fine, no mini fridge, though. It did the trick but wouldn't stay here again.

2 rooms. The first one with kitchen but nothing that you can use to prepare food, no air conditioner and dirty. 2nd room, no black curtains. All light from the outside even in the night come to the bedroom, the air conditioner old and not strong to cool off the room, the bathroom...old and cheap repairs. We request to leave after we past one night with no sleep.

Stayed 6 nights

Horrible tap water smell. Tap water is salty and smelly. Saw this last minute and reserved the 1 bedroom with kitchen. Had 7 star rating at hotels.com and I booked it without second thought. The price is not cheaper and its par with almost other airbnbs. Comes around 55$ USD per night which is not cheap at all. The staff are ok and changed my room to balcony with beach view and the bed and ac are comfortable. The manager is a girl who is not present most of the time and does not speak one word of english at all. Also, one guy at the reception who is friendly provided couple old-worn out utensils for me to cook. Managed to cook by buying water from the near by 7-eleven. Fridge AC and TV fine However, during my entire stay, I couldnt bath at all due to tap water smell. Which is very salty as well. Even brushing my teeth felt difficult everyday morning. Thought the tap water is same everywhere in Cancun but i was wrong. I stayed at other places and they are fine. I think the building is very old and the tap water pipes needs maintenance. Staff could not speak good english so I did not mention it to them. However, the location is next to beach and they have small over-priced restaurant and tiny swimming pool at the back yard which is next to beach. Have stayed here for 5 days and have seen mostly other spanish local people from other parts of Mexico. Have seen one american family for a weekend. Overall, I would not book this place again due to horrible tap water smell.
