The hotel itself is nice - clean rooms, decent fitness center and a good breakfast. There is no beach and the nearby beach club is fine but nothing special and it is closed on Mondays, but they didn’t tell us that when we checked in on Sunday. There are 8 chairs by the pool that fill up immediately so it didn’t leave a whole lot of options. They offered that we could go to the bar. This is more of a corporate hotel, NOT a resort by any means.

The Renaissance Resort & Marina in Cancun is SUPERB👍👍👍 It's located in a gated community that has a beautiful high end mall plus private residences & a Marina with breathtaking biews. Very secure location & staff & services are excellent. The rooms, views, pool area are all Awesome. The private Beach Club & complimentary shuttle to get there is definitely an added bonus. The attached mall @ the Resort has Amazing dining options & incredible views frim all over👍 Highly recommend this Resort if visiting Cancun....it's totally serene & peaceful👍👍👍

This hotel was amazing! We booked last minute and it was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The hotel had a restaurant and bar which was not included but was amazing. The breakfast buffet was $30 per person but WOW totally worth it! The hotel was connected to a shopping mall filled with different restaurants which was nice. The area was completely safe and you must use a key card to access elevators. As an avid gym goer the gym facilities were 10/10. The gym had a little big of everything with an amazing view from the 12th floor. Fresh fruit flavored waters provided, as well as a sauna and jacuzzi. The room was spacious and comfortable, no complaints. The staff was friendly and room service was 24/7. The only thing I will say is that the pool overlooks the marina. The space is open and people walking outside of the mall can walk past the pool. I didn’t mind at all, but others might prefer a bit of privacy. Only thing missing I would say is a hot tub! Would definitely stay here again.

Tout était parfait !! Nous aurions juste aimé une plus belle vue sur la mer car nous avions réservé une chambre vue sur mer mais si vous n'êtes pas à un etage élevé , le bâtiment d'en face gêne pas mal la vue. Mention speciale pour la salle de sport avec vue sur la marina et le brunch au top. Très bon personnel.!

Very clean and room smelled great. The staff was very friendly. Only downsides were small pool area and slow service at breakfast (we were in a time crunch and we waited about 5-10 minutes before leaving as we had no server come over to check in). Also would recommend having cold bottles of water available to guests at check in.

Generally a very pleasant stay. The room is clean and quiet. The bed is also comfortable. Great shower with excellent water pressure. The gym is pretty decent for a hotel. The pool is not big but good enough for a relaxed swim. There is a shopping mall next to the hotel where you can find restaurants and a convenience store.

1st room smelled of urine, the couch had stains all over the cushions, and the ac didnt work. 2nd room the water came out brown with chunks floating in it from the sink and the shower wreaked of sulfur.

Nice property. However, the carpet really smelled and the refrigerator in the room didnt get cold enough to really cool our drinks. I wouls also recommend placing a microwave in the room. It was a decent experience. If I had to choose again, i wouldnt stay there. We actually left 4 days early.

Nice welcoming and the staff were friendly and the I got was the view was nice but what I did not like was the cleaning staff. They don’t clean your room and the bathroom they only replace some things not everything and the bedsheets they don’t replace it and they just use the cover to make it look like the bed was arranged. The management need to work on the cleaning departments cause they don’t do they job and the bathroom in my room smells. Every other thing was good is the cleaning that was my problem

El peor hotel debido al ruido de los restaurantes de afuera hasta las 2:00 am. Me dieron la habitación 315 y no pude quedarme dormida hasta después de esa hora. La cama hundida de un solo lado, demasiado incómodo. Toallas y WC un poco manchados cuando hice el check in.

Bom custo beneficio, localização excelente. Tive problema com o frigobar, fiquei 4 noites hospedado e somente na 3ª noite que foram trocar reconhecendo que estava com problema. Em resumo fiquei sem geladeira no quarto todos esses dias. Outro defeito é um vidro que separa o banheiro das camas, se tiver acompanhado que for ao banheiro no meio da noite ilumina o quarto todo.

The hotel is conveniently located and modern. Notice the wifi is iffy and you need a code to get it for free that you will be given at reception, do scroll all the way down and don’t put your room number. The pool is lovely but getting to the steam room and jacuzzi is a faff as you have to book it. Rooms are modern and well equipped and mostly quiet but definitely not soundproof. The hotel restaurant serves lovely food, specially breakfast!, with prices in line with the area. Some of the stuff can be a bit pushy with tips. Just a tiny piece of advice ignore the travel agency/ excursions hub on the way to the mall and use the one in the mall. The first one is a bit dodgy :(

El staff no es muy amable. Todo lo que les pides es un problema, un favor, etc. Nadie hace ni intenta hacer más del mínimo necesario. Desde bell boys, hasta recepción y meseros. Misma actitud de “hagamos lo mínimo hasta que se acabe el día”. Instalaciones muy lindas y comida buena.

Liked the convenience of being closer to city center. Front desk tried to put a $600 hold on my funds. I let them hold $300 but the said they couldn’t take hold off even though bill was only $70. The restaurant Litoral was terrible. The vegetarian enchiladas were inedible. Never again

Got scammed on another website and when we arrived our reservation was not at the hotel. Felix at the frint desk helped us sort it out and get us in that night. All the staff there were very welcoming, friendly, extremely helpful, courteous and went above and beyound to make our stay excellent! The hotel is very tidy, well kept, clean and had excellent views. The gym had everything you need and the location is awesome. Would definitely come back here. Been to Cancun many times and this is by far the best hotel in Cancun!

The pictures for Renaissance Cancún Resort & Marina simply don’t do it justice. It is far more beautiful in person. It was pleasant waking up to the picturesque view of the marina and passing boats every morning. The room was spacious and the shower amazing!! The location was great. My daughter and I loved being able to from out hotel directly to the mall! The staff was pleasant and accommodating. The location was great as well. It’s literally only 3-5 miles away from busy side of the hotel zone but it also had its own vibe too which was great. The hotel from the 10th floor where we stayed just had breathe taking views of the marina but also the lights from the busy eateries and stores of the shopping center and then ocean all at the same time! Already making plans to return. Oh and the concierge was great and helping us make the most of our time with planning excursions too.

This location is amazing! If you want a laid back stay in cancun away from the massive crowds of party goers, this is the place to be! The hotel is adjacent to the shopping mall on the Marina. There are many really good restaurants in the Marina ~ less than 5 mins walking distance from your hotel room, so if you don't want to eat at the hotel, you have many options. The pool is small but very accessible, the drinks are good poolside, the restaurants onsite are amazing. There is a shuttle that drives you to the beach club where you can rent chairs etc and there is a beach bar. Most of the restaurants are a 20 min drive from the hotel. Whenever I come back to cancun, I will definitely return!

Hotel is in a new upscale marina area with lovely view. Very quiet and secure with an entrance in lobby allowing you to walk straight to probably the nicest mall in Cancun with many nice restaurants.

Located in Puerto Cancun, easily the nicest area in town, this hotel enjoys an incredible location. While it's a bit removed from the hotel zone and some of the popular restaurants there, the setting more than makes up for it. The adjacent mall is beautiful and convenient, offering plenty to explore, and there’s a fantastic taco place just across the street. Although we didn’t get a chance to use the beach club due to limited availability, overall, the location and surroundings made for an outstanding stay.

The Renaissance is a new hotel in a newly developed area right at the entrance of the hotel zone (zona hotelera). It has an incredible view and is located right next to a shopping center with a variety of good restaurants, shopping, and a movie theater. The rooms are spectacular. The pool and hot tub are great. I enjoyed my stay, tremendously! I will definitely return.

The property was beautiful, clean and welcoming. Hotel is attached to shopping mall and restaurants. Our room had harbor views which were great. The gym was nice for morning workouts. The hotel breakfast was extremely expensive whether you had the buffet or from the menu. We did not plan on $40 breakfast each day. Overall wonderful expensive
