Great hotel with lovely pool.

Very easy to get to and set very close to Kew and the gardens. Lovely set up with sauna and smimming pool and gym

The customer service is terrible and the pool has been out of order for 2 days and it is the only reason we booked this hotel. The staff were very unapologetic and did not offer to make the inconvenience up to us. Very disappointed and I won’t stay here again!

Hotel is in a good location for access to London City Centre, nearest tube station is South Ealing about 20 min walk. The leisure facilities are very good, to pool area and sauna are very clean. Disappointed in the parking, the hotel advertised parking available but there was a fee of £15 per night.

I recently stayed at the Novotel London Brentford. The hotel is modern and clean, with comfortable rooms. The staff were okay, though not particularly friendly. The swimming pool requires an appointment and has limited time slots, and during our visit, it was occupied by a class, making it less enjoyable. However, the breakfast was excellent, and the overall facilities were good, making it a decent stay.

Our room was very clean but you needed to schedule an appointment to use the pool. We had a very comfortable stay.

Nice hotel, located a bit off the beaten track but not too much to complain in that sense. They've kept the place clean, friendly and well-working. Downstairs pool can be sometimes a bit populated by screaming people or people not used to pools clearly, but the gym is well equipped for a hotel.

Disappointing Stay This was our third time staying at Novotel London Brentford, and unfortunately, it did not meet the standards of our previous visits. • The swimming pool, a key reason for booking, was closed for maintenance without prior notice, which was very disappointing for our family. • Breakfast, costing over £40 per day, was subpar. The hash browns were hard, the food lacked freshness, and there was constant frustration with coffee machines. One machine was turned off despite being stocked with hot chocolate, while the operational machine often ran out and was slow to refill. • Check-in was unpleasant. We felt rushed to pay the £30 parking fee upfront, and staff were dismissive when we inquired about member parking benefits. Strangely, our friend who checked in earlier was allowed to pay the parking fee at check-out. Overall, we were disappointed, particularly given the higher price and our loyalty to this hotel in the past.

Didn’t hear a thing from my room despite being by a busy road, and didn’t hear neighbours or doors closing etc. Comfortable beds and lovely clean well maintained room. Staff were helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay again.

The standards of housekeeping at this hotel are very high! My room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and comfortable. My room was serviced every day during my stay. Housekeeping staff are often the lowest paid workers in hotels and have to work hard to achieve the high standards that I enjoyed during my stay. The Housekeeper should be commended for her hard work. Some of the Breakfast Team at this hotel were sullen, bordering on rude and morose. It is a shame because others made a very good effort.

It was to a standard I expect and the staff are always friendly, courteous, and eager to help. Staying with a pet (little dog in our case), however, meant we got assigned rooms designated for visitors with pets and the room we got assigned to initially was horrendous! Very visible dirt from previous pet stays with the room resembling a barn. That part we didn’t like at all. We ask for a room change and that was granted without hesitation. It was an improvement, a major one, but it wasn’t up to scratch. We had to make do. If an established going to be accommodating of guests with pets, please grant people with the same level of service where room cleanliness is concerned. I appreciate that there is shared responsibility here and that there are some pet owners who are not quite on top of things where their pets are concerned, but so are some humans who have no regard for how they leave a room on checking out - but you still get a cleaned room at the end of it as a new guest. Other than that, the stay was otherwise a pleasant one.

Basically, we had a good time at the hotel. The staff in all departments are kind and helpful, and there are well-trained specialists among them. When evaluating services, I took breakfast as a basis, where the offer was 100% the same every day. There was never another cold meat, cheese, egg dish, or anything at all that would have made it a little different. This is weird. The other thing, which I think is expected from 4 stars and above, is that they could provide power socket adapters for the duration of the stay (even against a deposit) to those arriving from the continent. We took it with us, but another one would have been more comfortable. Of course, I could have bought this in the hotel shop for 15 pounds, but what should I do with it after 1 week? Should I throw it out? Do I produce garbage? This is strange again. I am completely satisfied with the cleanliness of the room. The evaluation of cleanliness mainly applies to the restaurant, where you had to regularly sort out the plates and cutlery until you found a clean one...

Only stayed for 1 night but wished i stayed longer, staff were friendly and went out of their way to help you, room was lovely and clean too will definitely stay here again.

The hotel staff was nice, but not responsive when notified the bathroom sink was clogged. It took 4 days before the bathroom sink was unclogged and, in addition, the thermostat was not adjustable so the room was stuffy and humid. The bed was not comfortable and the pillows were extremely hard. The property was clean and seemed new. The restaurant was ok although it was overpriced, especially the breakfast that does not give you any option but to purchase the full breakfast bar at 20+ pounds when all I wanted was a cup of coffee. The Rada Restaurant, across the road, is a far better option but it took a few days of wasted money to find it. It is close to Kew Gardens, and has easy access to local bus service. I would not stay there again given other options in the area.

The hotel and its staff was extremely rude. Rooms were dirty and filled with hair. Will never stay back.

Twin room, electric glass on shower room gave us a few laughs. Room was quiet, air conditioning good. Single bed was a little saggy. Pool was disappointingly very small, no staff on duty so even though we booked it was busy. Very conviently located for Kew and football stadium, fairly straightforward bus ride to tube. Staff okay but didnt really volunteer information, had to be asked. Swiping lifts to operate was a bit annoying.

Lengthy waiting to be checked in. Strange frosted glass shower setup. Beds weren't very comfortable. Sauna wasn't hot. Aircon not working. Breakfast was good.

The style of room, friendly and helpful staff, and that the rooms have a mini fridge in it! Very indispensable

The hotel room and double bed were tiny for 2 people, no air conditioning, so it was really hot in the room, even though they supplied a fan, no phone to call down to reception

Dreadful service, no information volunteered about timings or amenities and no info in the room. Parking is £3 a day cheaper in the same carpark if you pay direct. Fitness and pool very basic. Weird window between bedroom and bathroom

Pretty far from the tubes, the WiFi was awful. One last thing the thermostat wasn’t working. It was a nice clean hotel though.

Really pleasant stay at Novotel, Brentford. Business trip, didn’t require public transport though Tube 15 min walk. Parking available (£15/N), comfortable beds, good shower, lovely, helpful staff, nice area with small Sainsbury’s store nearby, limited food options without driving. Good WiFi and considering proximity to M4 at no point could I hear the traffic. Hotel has nice indoor pool and sauna. Towels provided at reception. Easy access to London via A4. Only issue for me was cost and quality of breakfast. £21 for buffet. I’d expect cooked to order for this price rather than food sitting in warm trays. The scrambled eggs soggy, bacon fry and orange juice from concentrate. Some patties and fruit but having stayed at Premier Inn, I’d say their breakfast is better & cheaper. Went local for breakfast on day 2 & 3.

Really lovely hotel. Has a nice feel to it clean and smart and comfortable. Room was quiet even though the hotel is right next to the m4. Only complaint is a bit more explanation at checkin would have been helpful ie breakfast and check out times and how to use the lift with the key cards. We would defo stay again.

The stay was pleasant, the lovely lady reception allowed us to check in early as I had just been discharged from hospital after treatment. She is a credit to the team and the hotel. Thank you so so much Novotel!

Firstly, the hotel rooms, the hotel and the restaurant were great value for money and could not fault it. However unfortunately the end of the stay was ruined due to poor customer service. On checking out, I was informed I had accidentally been charged an extra parking payment, but it had been refunded, this would take 2-3 working days to go back in my bank, accidents happen so this was fine. On return home, I opened my online banking to find out I’d been charged £147 not £15. I initially panicked wondering where this charge came from. I phoned the hotel and was told due to me using 2 cards for when I booked and when I checked in, there had been some sort of crossover. I asked for management to phone me back the next day, which they didn’t, so I wrote an email. I heard back the night after so 48 hours in all. I received a half hearted apology. I’ve since realised that it wasn’t one payment of £147 but 2 they took out. I have emailed them again, and still waiting to hear back. I just do not think this is good enough and think it’s extremely poor customer service and has put me off using the hotel again.

Staff was absolutely amazing!!!

I wish hotel management would pay attention to their receptionists. We showed up at 1330 to check-in but our room wasn’t ready and the guest was still in the room. Ok, I understand that check-in is at 1400 so we grabbed a bite to eat at the hotel restaurant which has great food and so many different seating options. We then went back to the receptionist at 1500, our room was still not ready so we dropped off our backpacks and went exploring. There are multiple different bus routes around the area. There’s also a pub that was used for the movie Green Street Hooligans within walking distance. Try their fish and chips, it’s delicious! Make sure to say hi to the kitty too! We got back to the hotel around 1800, there was a different receptionist who definitely showed that she didn’t want to be there and no name tag. Our room was ready and we asked for our backpacks. Mind you, we traveled via RyanAir so we didn’t have heavy or huge backpacks. She drops our bags at our feet when my spouse was right there with his arms stretched for the bags. It took a lot out of me to not lash out because inside those backpacks were our laptops and a tablet. My son wanted to go to the pool so we asked where was it and was rudely explained that we couldn’t go to the pool that night because we didn’t book it ahead of time. For you to go to the pool, you need to book with the receptionist or on their website. This would have been beneficial when explained the first two times we tried to check-in.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Especially the young man Sam who was so helpful and alwayss with a welcoming smile on his face

There was lack of information given about the hotel, check in was painful and the parking, wrong information wad given and ended up with a parking penalty

Very slow check in

I called room service to request a Coke in my room, but no one answered. I then called reception, where the staff were unhelpful and refused to deliver it, telling me I had to go downstairs to collect it myself. Truly terrible service.

Reception staff really friendly

We enjoyed a nice two night stay. It's a 10-15 minute bus journey/walk to South Ealing tube but the area is nice and safe.

We booked this hotel as it was easy walking distance for the Korn concert at Gunnersbury Park. Parking under the hotel is convenient and secure as long as you can get a space. The hotel itself is immaculate and the staff were all friendly, patient and helpful. Rooms are very well soundproofed. Breakfast and dinner options were excellent. South Ealing tube is about a 20 minute walk. Kew Gardens is a 30 minute walk. Good selection of evening meal options in the area.

Beautiful property but not close to the tube.

Nice pool, clean rooms. Far from London an not so easy to get there, bus/taxi and train.

Extremely comfortable hotel, great location for getting into city.

I picked this hotel since it was fairly near LHR. Turns out, it was a 55 pound fare plus tip. I had an early morning flight so I had the hotel book a cab for me. The tube wasn’t running consistently so a cab was required. The area is ok. There is a Sainsbury’s just around the corner and a coffee shop. Not much else around. The room was nice, roomy and comfortable. It contain a small fridge too. I wouldn’t recommend a long term stay here but for one night it was very nice.

Great for Key Gardens

Good overall stay, bed comfort was main drawback. Convenient for public transportation, limited dining options within 10 minute walk.

Brentford has changed hugely over the last 10 years and this hotel is very good. Perfect location for Heathrow and exploring west london

Great hotel, very clean, breakfast and was good. Pool added bonus and not busy. Only down side is nearest tube station is 20 min walk away.

We had a wonderful stay! Completely exceeded our expectations. Lovely decorated hotel, clean and fresh. Rooms were comfortable. We ate at the restaurant the first night, the food was good. Breakfast, expensive but lots of choice. Convenient for getting to London. Bus right outside hotel, then tube on the Piccadilly line. Would recommend and stay again.

The pool facilities were great for my kids. Rooms were immaculate and comfortable. Bathrooms were spotless. Downside was drinks were expensive. £12 for a glass of wine was a shock.

Breakfast wasn’t great. Coffee was bad.

We have just returned from a 5 night stay at this hotel. We cannot fault it. The service was excellent (a special thanks to Roberto for your help on checking in) The breakfast was very good with a large selection and plenty to impress our 6 year old daughter. We enjoyed using the pool. Our room had everything we needed. We found the hotel to be in a convenient location with Brentford station just a short walk away. The only suggestions we would have would be to put non-slip mats in the swimming pool changing room as not only did our daughter slip over, we also saw the same happen to another guest. We also felt the pillows could have done with being replaced as they were rather lumpy.

Poor service at breakfast. Slow to clear vacated tables and refill buffet breakfast with sausages, eggs and plates. Coffee machine wasn’t working, then it was fixed then ran out of milk. Waiting staff at breakfast either poorly trained or poorly managed….or both!
