Sheridan Suites Apartments

This property was good overall for the price and location. At first it seemed sketchy(at night) but throught out the stay it was good no one bothered you. Pro; the bed and pillows were comfy apartment was nice and tidy con is you can't use the pool after dusk. Couch has seen better days and they don't leave out broom&dust pan in order to sweep up any messes i.e sand from beach or dirt.

This is a perfect option if you’re looking for a quiet, affordable, and secure place with a full kitchen and a pool! The property is fully gated, which made us feel very safe. The rooms, pool, and BBQ area are all clean. The laundry in the building is super convenient and saved me a lot of time. Plus, there are plenty of places nearby—we walked to Publix and had breakfast at Starbucks. The beach was only a 10-minute drive, and parking there is inexpensive, around $4-5 for 3 hours. There are also lots of great restaurants by the beach. One thing we really liked was the check-in process—it’s super easy and convenient! You can check in online and receive all the necessary information in advance, so you can arrive and check in at any time without any hassle. Overall, this place is really cool! After reading some reviews about the area, I had lower expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the apartments and entertainment options were. We will definitely be back!!!

Convenient to Airport and Port Everglades. Check in and Check out smooth. Property is old, appears that some renovations are underway. Cleanliness of room was good but outdoor and pool needs attention.

The parking is limited

Very nice place to stay with family. Kids friendly. Kids were in love with pool. Dad was in love with pool and barbecue area. Staff very friendly and nice. Highly recommended.

Thank you so much for a delightful stay! Next time we visit south Florida we definitely will try this again. The apt was decorated so nicely, modern, clean and comfortable. The enclosed pool area with bbq, picnic tables and loungers was really a fantastic area and made you feel like you were truly in an oasis. Locked gates made us feel secure. And off street parking for $10/night is a STEAL! Thank you!

First of all the housekeepers don't Clean the place good at all trash in the trash can refrigerator not clean also i had yo buy pots to cook in water in the bathroom gose down real slow Ac in the one room works when it want spend 28days there just because i couldn't get refunded i didnt leave and i couldn't wait to leave. Dog swimming in the pool i never get to get in.

Our apartment where we stayed it’s was dirty and dusty, I had to call them and tell them how dirty it’s was and the bathroom smell really bad. The employees did not understand English. I had and issues with the laundry machine and they couldn’t help out. I had to take my clothes soak in water and take it to the closest laundry mat. It’s was my last day.

Dingy, dated and dirty

This hotel was a dump although the pictures looked nice the rooms were as pictured but the shower sucked and bed felt like a rock and there were bugs in diff spots in diff rooms and after the first night and second night of our stay I woke up covered in bites and had to go to urgent care spend money and found out I was covered in bed bug bites . Don’t stay here whatever you do .

This location worked for a one-night stay, but was very inconvenient compared to a normal hotel stay. Tons of emails and logins that share conflicting information pre-arrival. We had to get many items clarified and it was a hassle before we stayed. The unit was pretty dirty and musty. Overall it was okay, but wouldn’t stay again.

Old and very hard bed. Yiu can feel and hear the springs. The shower drain was clogged so we stood in ankle deep water to shower. It was after hours so couldnt call anyone. Room was very dark. We had one tiny lamp on each side of the bed but only one lamp worked and it was very very dim! Couldnt open the curtains because one window had the bed pushed against it so tight that opening the curtains was not an option. Second window the curtains were super tight on the rod making it impossible to open them. Sketchy area too. Do not recommend.

Dirty bathroom, hairs on the bedshits, overall you don’t want to touch anything. WiFi crush at night and watching tv was impossible. On the good side lady from reception was very helpful.

Stayed with my family overnight after a cruise. Very old hotel, but I suppose for the money, that’s to be expected. Shower had mold, bathroom had big cracks in the walls. Funny smell. Outlets missing face plates, which has got to be some kind of safety concern. Light switches didn’t work. Very few television stations. Pictures really give you a misleading impression.

Bed sofa super uncomfortable

It did the job of giving us a place to stay the night but I would never go back. The beds feel like you're sleeping on a rock and they don't tell you until you get there that you have to pay for parking.

We just came back from Fort Lauderdale where we stayed 4 nights in the Sheridan suites one bedroom apartment. It was above expectation. Perfect communication with the front desk by all means, response via email and cell came immediately. We had an early flight and our apt was ready at noon. The unit was very welcoming, and even though from outside the bld looks just like motel the unit was a one bedrm apt with fully equipped kitchen and large ref. Great clean large bathroom. We needed extra supplies for the bathrm, everything was brought to us in a min. There is a safe parking. The hotel is quite, and has very nice clean swimming pool. Publix is in a few min of driving. Close to the airport, close to the port. What I can say: Thank you! And my personal thans to Ms. Arianna working at the front desk!

Awesome place to stay will definitely be back to stay again family really enjoyed it and office was great with anything we needed

I liked how it was fenced off from the public, but the apartment is little outdated. Lost water pressure here and there, but the apartment was clean and homey.

My only complaint is that the air conditioner in the living room did not sufficiently cool the area.

This property is located inside a neighborhood - not readily walkable. It\'s a weird vibe looking at the outside because the property is an "extended stay" type deal. The rooms are located off the street and behind a locked fence so once you are inside, you can\'t really tell what\'s outside anymore. The pool area was nice and the room was a full one-bed apartment - nicely furnished and clean. The bathroom was not modern and the tub was stained, but otherwise everything was fine. We had issues with the TV - there are no smart TVs and no cable, just digital antenna. The reception has office hours, from 10AM - 11PM, so if you need to talk to someone before or after you can\'t. The room has code locks and even though it turned green the door wouldn\'t open, so we were locked out for a while at 2:00 AM and there was no emergency number for assistance - that was my only complaint. The staff was very attentive when we did call about the TV, some lamps that weren\'t plugged in the bedroom, batteries for the remotes (someone had stolen them) and the sink was a little clogged. They even were willing to buy a smart TV if our picture wouldn\'t clear up with the new antenna.

Definitely a friendly staff. However neighborhood is very shady. They also don't tell you about an undisclosed parking fee which is insane considering where you have to park and a deposit of a large amount which hotels.com will not let me mention specifically, but it's a lot. Which was refunded within a few days. Floors were sticky, Plumbing barely worked. But for the price and the closeness to the airport it was fine. Did not really feel comfortable leaving my car in the parking lot but had no choice. Okay in a pinch

I will start by saying the staff was very friendly and helpful. The apartment was nice and clean, even though a little dated. A TV in each room and the one in the master was a smart tv. The bathroom was nice but water pressure was lacking. The pool area was also nice with places to sit and even bbq. The area was secure with good fences and electronic locks on gates. The negatives: it’s located in a not very good part of town, confirmed by a sheriff deputy we visited with in the convenience store. There seemed to be a few long term tenants that, although polite for the most part, were of questionable character. Had we not had our male sales manager with us, we probably would’ve changed hotels due to safety concerns. That being said, the price was right and wasn’t far from our conference. I don’t know that I would take my grandkids there or recommend to my daughters.

The staff including Tim and Arianna, were awesome. Everyone you have there are an asset to Sheridan Suites. They were there when we needed anything, no questions asked. Dania Beach and Hollywood Beach are about 15 minute drive.

Ariana was very helpful, we liked the customer service was amazing. We were able to check in few hrs before 4pm. This really help us.

Front desk was amazing. Housekeeping was amazing. We had one issue no hot water in shower. Fixed immediately. Deposit returned immediately.

The Front Desk Receptionist was helpful, kind & so polite. I disturbed because did not know that I had to pay $10 each day for parking, she told me that I would be reimbursed. My room was so cute, clean, and private with a security code entrance. Restaurants, carry- outs, grocery stores, & etcetera are in walking distance. I made sure that I left the room in perfect condition and I cleaned it to show my appreciation. The beach is only 7 minutes away by car. I am going to reserve this property/room accommodation for my October 28, 2024 vacation.

The Janitors are not friendly . They wouldn’t even say good morning if they see a guest .

Safe and nice location

The location of the hotel is very central and easy to reach. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were very clean. Also, the surroundings are quiet and it is a good hotel for its price.

The hotel is located in a working-class low income neighborhood, and unfortunately, this means you’ll encounter quite a few junkies and homeless in the area. The photos on Expedia are deceptive, making the place look like a four-star hotel, but in reality, it looks heavily worn and used. To make matters worse, there were guests constantly smoking and drinking in a corner, despite the no-smoking signs everywhere. I won’t go into detail about what they were smoking. The TVs had some kind of lock, so you could only access YouTube and a few other apps. The washer and dryer were also problematic. First, the machines wouldn’t open, then they stopped accepting coins. In the end, the hotel staff had to take our laundry to another part of the hotel across the street to get it washed. All of this, while the hotel isn’t exactly cheap. They advertise with special rates to lure people in, but the experience was far from pleasant. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The staff and the facilities have been great. With a group of friends, we stayed here before and after our cruise. It's location between the Airport and Cruise Port was perfect. There was lots of restaurants and food markets within walking distance. We would definitely come back.

It was nice but you need a car to do anything!
