Everything was great and the evening desk clerk was super helpful. We’re trying to figure out someplace to get something to eat after our concert and he was great. It was kind of a bummer that we had to pay $25 for parking, but it is what it is.

The front desk ladies were friendly and helpful. However, I wasn't aware that they charge $25.00 USD a day for parking. The lot is open and right outside of Siloam Mission. There's a parkaide nearby the charges $15.00 USD from 5:00 PM to 11:00 AM.

5 stars because the hotel was great with a nice room and comfortable bed. BUT... i want to add 2 points first is... that this was listed as very close to the nice North loop area.. which in truth is not very useful because you have to walk through 10 blocks of bad neighborhood (IMO) to get there! Second point is parking was 50 bucks for two nights and not even gated. Nice staff also!

I called in advance to confirm that there is onsite parking. When we arrived, the parking lot was full because the hotel allows event parking at the lot, and there are no spaces reserved for hotel guests. We were told to just figure out different parking (?) and that we simply would not be charged. We ended up finding nothing anywhere near the hotel, had to leave the city and come back later in the night to find a spot. We were not the only people with this issue-- many guests could not find parking.

When we checked in, we were given a room that had not been cleaned. The clerk who helped us was very nice and found us another room. That room had not been cleaned thoroughly. There was food in the drawers and refrigerator and dirt towels in the bathroom. No cups for the coffee. So overall, we were a little disappointed.

My room was not cleaned the entire time I was there. We never had the Do not disturb out and I inquired every day and was ensured it would be cleaned. I have never had this happen at any hotel. Very disappointing.

We have stayed here multiple times. Have mostly been happy with our stays there.Bathroom was not cleaned very well. A couple of dirty towels laying on the floor under the cink and stool handle was not functional to flush. I rigged it good enough to flush.

It was very clean and a newer place. The breakfast was really good with waffles, eggs, a breakfast meat, oatmeal with many choice of toppings, many kinds of cold cereal, several kinds of yogurt. Fresh coffee and friendly staff. The only thing was we didn’t get our room cleaned in between the days, but the ladies were swamped and when we found them in the hall working, they gave us fresh towels, as that is all we really needed anyway. We were able to watch fireworks from our 6th floor window which was nice not to have to go anywhere to do that, after a long and busy day.

Check in was very simple and quick. Went up to our assigned room and the bathroom was dirty and the bed not made, but the kind front desk people got us a new room quickly and were very professional and kind. Fun oatmeal bar for breakfast, but parking is $25 a night. My fault for not reading into the parking situation, but that was a bit of a disappointment. Other than that, a nice and comfortable stay!

Our bathroom had a strong urine smell. The bottom of the white shower curtain was yellow and looked like it has been soaked in urine. It smelled terrible. Around the toilet, you could see old urine marks and on the wall and baseboards. The closet doors had strange markings on them and someone took a pen to the walls and colored on them. I did make comment to the desk and they did their best to clean it all up. However, the first impression was already tarnished.

The room was comfortable and clean. It has one huge problem. The window has a flimsy shade and no black out curtains. The location is in the dowtown area and there is a lot of light outside the window. After dark the room was quite bright. When the sun came up at 5:00 am, it was fully light in the room.

Thr room was really nice and clean. The black key card scan fell of the door after 1 use. There was no body wash in container and shower and the shower door wouldnt closed. Overall, the stay was very nice, there were just some small things that need improvement.

Check in counter lady was absolutely terrible .. no hello no smile and borderline rude. When we got to the room .. thankfully the housekeeping was in the hall as our toilet and sink were dirty. Breakfast times ended way too early. Paid $50 for parking and when we were leaving there was a ticket on my car. Dropped that at the front desk and hoping it is taken care of . Second time staying at this hotel but won’t be back. I am a very easy traveller but from the start it was not a great experience.

Our party arrived separately and I reserved two rooms. First he gave us both the same room, got our second room assigned, went out came back and the first room had been deleted from us and key didn't work. E-file at the desk fixing that problem my daughter's husband left his wallet at the desk accidentally. Next morning when he realized it was gone, went down to desk to get it , and all the cash was gone from his wallet about $100. Had to be an employee as it was left at desk. We complained and they said they couldn't do anything. Terrible!

The Salvation Army service center was located across the parking lot. There were a number of homeless people on the streets around. I do want to say, though, there were no problems whatsoever. Just wanted to make sure I was honest in disclosing this.

The property itself was fine, a little bit dirty when we had to pull out the pullout couch. Wish there was a mattress cover on it because there were things on that mattress we did not want to see! What was a little more concerning is that there’s a Salvation Army right next to the parking lot and there were many people hanging out outside around there. We walked from the hotel over to the baseball game and definitely crossed paths with a few homeless people. No one bothered us, but it’s worth noting.

The Salvation Army resource center is located directly behind the hotel. Although there were no problems whatsoever, there were a lot of people roaming the street around. Again, there were no problems or issues. Just wanted to honestly disclose this.

We chose this property due to its proximity to the Orpheum Theatre. It was easy to walk to restaurants and stores, was well-lit and safe when walking back to the hotel after the show. Staff was friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and in good condition. On-site parking was convenient.

Breakfast was very marginal. Not a lot of options. Snack options for purchase very limited. Not sure why coffee not available in the evenings. Beds were ok but bordering on lumpy. Shower was amazing! Good experience but lacking some of the class one expects from a Marriott. Just the small simple touches can elevate the experience. Very convenient for attending a game at Target Field.
