Curb appeal was great, with convenient on-site parking and great view of Lake Michigan. However, contactless entry was flawed, as both another guest and I discovered. We each kept trying our provided codes, as the wording in the email with the codes was confusing. Finally got the front door open with my code, then tried the room code, which didn’t work. I called the help number from the Hotels.com app, which linked to the *previous* property manager, Kasa. Eventually sorted that out and got the number to the new property manager. Admittedly, my call was answered quickly and I was given a new door code that worked, but it was a 15-minute pain in the neck to sort all this out (felt really bad for the other guest, who didn’t get the size room he had booked for 4 people). The room itself was okay: clean, refillable rather than wasteful single-use toiletries, thick towels. However, despite having cupboards for dishware, none was provided, which seems ridiculous given there was a fridge and microwave. The large kitchen in the common area had some plasticware and paper plates, but c'mon...why no dishware in a kitchenette room?

The room and the entire lobbying was impeccably clean and it smelled great!! The keyless entry was perfect! As well as the directions on how to open the door to the facility and to the room. I will highly recommend it to others visiting the area. Until next time....

It was expensive for one night and booked well in advance. When we got there, there were no staff on hand for early check-in or ever during the stay and at check-out. Everything was done via passcode. Fine. The location is right off the 2 lane highway 72. Two sets of ear plugs were left for us on the night stand because of the traffic noise. The room was clean, but spartan as far as decor and coziness. There was a stuffiness to the room as it was humid and the A/C rarely cycled, leaving the room feeling damp and musty. The lobby had things like toasters and microwaves, but zero food, no continental breakfast and nothing fresh to snack on for the price of the room was pretty disappointing.

I could not even check in! I never received any codes for entry, and there was nobody there to help. I am still waiting on my refund. Beyond dissatisfied. Hire humans!!!

The floors creaked very loud. We put white noise on our phone but could still hear the floors from the people above. Our room faced the parking lot and there weren’t blinds on the window. It left little room for privacy and a lot for light to shine between the curtains. The hotel didn’t have an ice machine. The room felt like a senior living center.
