GR Solaris Caribe Adults Only - All Inclusive

We stayed at GR Solaris Caribe for 3 nights and had a great experience. We booked an oceanview room and were upgraded for free to an oceanside plunge pool room, which was excellent and highly recommended. Service throughout the resort was very good, including bars, restaurants, and the front desk. The resort website/app made reservations easy. Breakfast was a small buffet but excellent, with lots of options. Lunch choices included the buffet at Royal Solaris Cancun next door, the pool snack bar, or a sit‑down steak restaurant overlooking the ocean. Food was good overall, not amazing, but reliable. We ate dinner at the Asian, steak, and Italian restaurants. The Asian restaurant is on the Royal Solaris side and felt a bit clunkier. The others were better. The pool is small and very deep (I’m 5'5" and it reached my neck), so bring a float if needed. There is shade, drink service, and two large hot tubs, though I wish the pool faced the ocean instead. The beach was spacious with lots of chairs, but more umbrellas would help. The room was very clean with no mildew or smells. There were many bar and coffee options, plus a quiet lounge and diner away from the pool. One loud surprise white party by the pool felt very social‑media focused, so we left. Sargassum arrived heavily on the last day, but staff cleared the beach. Few beach vendors and they weren’t pushy. Best for couples, not large groups. Overall, a great stay where you feel taken care of.

Adrain was amazing! He served us Breakfast and Lunch and was on top of every need we had.

We enjoyed our stay. The food overall was really good with a nice selection. The only negatives we had were that the rooms were still pretty warm even with the AC on high, fans going, and shades closed. The water in the shower also never got hot.

The hotel is nice small and not packed with people. No swim up bar, hot tub closed at 7:00 in the afternoon. No bars open before 11:00 am. If you you like to party a little when you visit Mexico this is not your spot. If you like relaxing reading books by the pool you have found a gem.

Amazing food! Such a great place to stay. I’ll be back for sure.
